00:00It wasn't a long stop here in Sydney but it was certainly the final stop for Lachlan Morton,
00:09the cyclist who has spent the last 30 days travelling almost 14,000 kilometres around
00:15the entire country.
00:18He was flocked by dozens of supporters cheering him on and they do have a lot to cheer for.
00:23The current record for riding around Australia stands at 37 days, 20 hours and 45 minutes.
00:31With Lachy now on the home stretch, he looks set to smash that by at least six days.
00:37I take each day as it comes and I try and make the most of each day.
00:42Sometimes it means I can get really far, sometimes it's sort of struggling a bit more but I'm
00:49happy with how I feel physically, I don't have any major issues but all in all I'm
01:02satisfied.
01:03I feel like I've got what I wanted out of this trip.
01:07You can't forget about Lachlan's coaches as well, they've been driving with him every
01:11step of the way throughout his journey across the entire country, waking up sometimes at
01:161am in the morning when he likes to start his rides.
01:20They'll be so happy to see him cross the finish line at his hometown at Port Macquarie tomorrow.
