00:00This is the type of indictment you would expect from someone in the mafia.
00:03I don't know that I could keep him off the stand.
00:05He is very eager to tell his story.
00:08They're going to show that video over and over and over
00:11about what happens to women that won't change their stories.
00:15His reputation is over.
00:17The United States government, they start making this case
00:20as a takedown of a successful black man.
00:24TMZ presents The Downfall of Diddy, The Indictment, now streaming on Tubi.
00:30The Downfall of Diddy
00:32When you stepped in the game, you've been one of the biggest people out there.
00:36You know, you rub shoulders with everybody.
00:38So I got to ask you, man, Diddy's lawyer,
00:41you saw this whole thing going on, this drama is playing out in court now.
00:45Diddy's lawyer is saying that the reason that he's being prosecuted
00:49or persecuted by the government is because he's a successful black man
00:53that they're trying to take him down.
00:55What are your thoughts on that level?
00:58Well, I mean, that's a Diddy issue.
00:59I don't have any thoughts on it.
01:01You know what I mean?
01:01Like, stuff like that, you can't really get involved in.
01:04You know, I think the business in itself is taking a shift.
01:09If you look at it from a spiritual perspective,
01:11music hasn't been the greatest role model for our youth.
01:14That's true.
01:14If you look at it these days.
01:15So I just think it's a spiritual shift that's happening.
01:18And we just got to sit back and relax and watch.
01:20Mind our own business.
01:21And whatever people are doing on their personal time
01:23is something they have to deal with on their own.
01:24The idea of the government seeing somebody as a target for their success.
01:30I mean, at least that's how the lawyer's playing it.
01:33It's not the first time we've heard this rhetoric.
01:34You know what I mean?
01:36I mean, yeah, but it's a defense mechanism at the end of the day.
01:39You know, we just got to all sit back and let it play out.
