00:00Some of our fellow countrymen in Paniki, Tarlac made a Certificate of Condemnation

00:06of the Department of Agrarian Reform today.

00:09It aims to help farmers to get rid of their debts

00:13and to get rid of their interest and amortization in their land.

00:22Lazaro Lacsona has been a farmer for almost 4 decades.

00:26He is 57 years old and was born in Concepcion, Tarlaca.

00:30This is his source of livelihood.

00:33He even inherited his land from his parents.

00:38But for a long time, they were only given the title of their land.

00:43And finally, he can say that he owns his land.

00:49It is very important.

00:51We were given the title of our land.

00:56Thank you very much for giving us the title.

01:03I have the title of my land.

01:06Lazaro is one of the 3,500 agrarian reform beneficiaries in Tarlaca.

01:12He was awarded the Certificate of Condemnation

01:15with Release of Mortgage or Kokruma

01:17by the Department of Agrarian Reform

01:19established by Eduardo Cuanco Gymnasium in Paniki, Tarlac today.

01:24It is in accordance with Republic Act No. 11953 or the New Agrarian Emancipation Act.

01:30It aims to help farmers to get rid of their debts

01:34and to get rid of their interest and amortization in their land.

01:39President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was the first to give the title of his land.

01:44Because of these blessings, it is our responsibility to enrich our land.

01:52Not only for yourselves, but also for the entire Philippines.

01:58We will continue to help the development of the agricultural sector

02:03because I believe that we can and should do more.

02:09More than 4,000 titles of land were distributed

02:13which comprises more than 4,000 hectares of agricultural land

02:17which is worth more than 100 million pesos.

02:21This is the third time that the Certificate of Condemnation has been distributed in Central Luzon this year.

02:27Our trials will not end here.

02:31But this day will serve as a reminder

02:35that the government is ready to help you.

02:39We are here and we will continue to listen to your needs

02:45so that you can have a brighter and stronger future.

02:51Meanwhile, the Philippine Statistics Authority recognized Tarlaca

02:56as the fastest-growing economy in the agricultural sector in the entire Philippines
