00:00Thousands of farmers in Palawan were given the title of land and goods for farming.

00:11Erlinda has been farming for 27 years on land that she doesn't own.

00:15Even though she earns because of selling her crops,

00:19they still worry about the possibility that in a blink of an eye,

00:23they will lose their main source of income.

00:26It's very hard because we don't know that we can leave anytime

00:32because we don't have the confidence that we are farming on our own land.

00:36But Erlinda is fed up.

00:39Because she is now one of the thousands of farmers in Palawan

00:42who have already received the title of land,

00:44which was given by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:48According to the President,

00:49this is a recognition of the government to the farmers who play a big role in food security.

00:53But it doesn't end with just giving titles.

00:56Instead, it is also a struggle for them to have a peaceful farmland

01:01along with clearing their debts.

01:04Those who have been waiting for a long time for their land

02:26According to the Department of Agrarian Reform,

02:28the government continues to strive to give the title of land to qualified farmers.

02:39until the President's term ends in 2028.

02:43The Punong Ejecutivo prioritized the ceremonial turnover of Farm-to-Market Roads

02:47which has a total value of more than 44 million pesos.
