00:00You know over the years we all know that there are a lot of changes in your life

00:04and even your musicality and what are your surprises for the Filipino audience?

00:09Gosh I mean well I'm out. I'm out now.

00:16So that's that's pretty different. I wasn't out the last time I went to the Philippines.

00:21I came out when I was 30 years old so just three years ago and so I think I'm excited to

00:27to be there because I feel like I'm so much more comfortable with myself compared to before. Before

00:31I was always like so scared and like so nervous that people were gonna find the ugly parts of me

00:39and I didn't know what that was but I was like there's something inside me that's horrible and

00:44I think I was always afraid of being a queer person, being gay, being out and or I say queer

00:52because it's like I don't I don't think you know the LGBTQ plus community is not always a hundred

00:58percent. You're not just a hundred percent straight and you're not a hundred percent gay like there's

01:03there's spectrum too. So I just like to say queer because I feel like there's some some of that in

01:08me but I'm you know I like guys and for the most part and I've found joy just allowing myself to

01:16connect with them on a romantic level and see like this thing that I thought was going to be

01:21the end of my soul and gonna turn me into an evil person. If anything it's like wow like this is

01:27this is how I've always been and I'm just finally accepting it and I'm not afraid of it anymore

01:33and I can love myself and I can love other people more fully now because I thought I have to change

01:39this about me if I can ever receive love and it made me hate myself so much and so to accept the

01:48scary thing about me and realize it's a beautiful thing has changed my life and it's changed my

01:52music it's changed the way I perform and so I can't wait to bring this new like David 2.0.
