✍INGREDIENTS:
- Chana dal (चना दाल)
- Water (पानी)
- Dhaniya powder (धनिया पाउडर)
- Lal mirch powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
- Haldi powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
- Ginger-garlic paste (अदरक-लहसुन का पेस्ट)
- Salt (नमक)
- Vegetable oil (सब्जी का तेल)
- Jeera (जीरा)
- Pyaz (प्याज़)
- Tamatar (टमाटर)
- Adrak (अदरक)
- Tej patta (तेज पत्ता)
- Garam masala (गरम मसाला)

Instructions :

- Soak chana dal in water for 1-2 hours, then drain.
- In a pressure cooker, add chana dal with fresh water and cook until tender.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add jeera, and let it splutter.
-- Add chopped pyaz, adrak, and tej patta; cook until the onion turns golden.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste, dhaniya powder, lal mirch powder, haldi powder, and salt.
Add chopped tamatar and cook until they soften and blend with the spices.
-Add the cooked chana dal to the pan, mix well, and adjust seasoning.
- Sprinkle garam masala and simmer for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.

04:00To add color to the sabji, add 1 tbsp kashmiri red chili powder.
04:06Add 1 tbsp coriander seeds and 1 tsp turmeric powder.
