00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:05use Microsoft PowerPoint on a Mac computer. Tutorial 10 turn on and off
00:10autosave. Without further ado let us start the video. So in this tutorial you
00:15need to have access to a Mac computer, have access to the desktop application
00:19Microsoft PowerPoint. We can now start this tutorial. Let's now go over onto the
00:24dock, go to finder, go to documents, go to the folder called PowerPoint, navigate
00:30to that, go to the presentation, work.pptx, open that up.
00:36Let's increase the size of the PowerPoint window itself. Now top left
00:41corner on screen we have autosave. Let's click on this. At the moment it is turned
00:45off. Once we click on to turn autosave on and access your presentation from
00:51anywhere, upload your file. We can upload this to the OneDrive. Let's now change or
00:58keep the same the place of where this will be saved in. Upload, uploading. To
01:05sync changes with OneDrive, Microsoft PowerPoint needs access to the OneDrive
01:09folder. Grant the access. Yep and there we go. So that's now saved in that OneDrive
01:18folder. Let's quit PowerPoint for the moment, go to OneDrive and there is
01:22work.pptx. As you can see the PowerPoint presentation is no longer saved
01:31where it originally was. It's now saved in the OneDrive folder. We have
01:37technically moved where the folder used to live in or where the presentation
01:42used to be saved in. So now we're automatically saving. Let's turn autosave
01:49off. We would have to then command S to save but when the autosave is turned on
01:55we do not have to worry about saving the file itself as that's all automatic now.
02:01Quit PowerPoint, quit Finder. And so that's it for this video. I'll see you guys in the next
02:09tutorial. Thanks for now. Thank you for making it towards the end of the video.
