00:00So our mission at Make Noise and what we do is to provide a holistic experience for the
00:09musician in Sheffield really, or for any musician in the country that can make it to Sheffield
00:14as well.
00:15We provide rehearsal rooms for artists of any level or any genre.
00:20We have an event space just behind me as well that hosts various gigs per week and we also
00:25have recording studios with two professional producers and two live rooms as well.
00:32We also do some community services with alternative provision kids, we conduct the academy which
00:38enables people to learn more about production and be more independent and lastly we have
00:43recording parties as well which are for the younger ones and soon as well for the older
00:48ones which is a very good experience to be on the studio and have some fun, sing some
00:53songs and in the end have it all recorded for you.
00:56It's been massive, I mean like ever since the band started we were coming here and it's
00:59just, you know, it's a safe space, supportive staff, you know, all the gear is here for
01:05you.
01:06It's been the place we've been living.
01:07In the near future Make Noise might be moving to a studio very close to Corporation Night
01:11Club, it's the best way to let people know where it might be.
01:14What is it you hope to see happen in the future?
01:16For people to stick with us and keep rehearsing with us, even though the service might be
01:22a bit more limited, the mission will still be there, our doors will still be open for
01:26everyone and we'll still be able, or at least try to help everyone in their musical journeys
01:32really.
01:33How can people get involved?
01:34There's a fundraiser of course.
01:36Yes, so you can donate to our fundraiser where you can find our website, on our social links
01:42or coming to the studio and actually scanning the QR codes that are around, you can help
01:46us mitigate this change of premises.
01:50Or honestly just by sharing our place around, coming to our gigs, coming and rehearsing
01:56with us, just being around, being part of the community is a really, really good way
02:00of helping us.
