The Digital Ministry is ready to assist the Education Ministry in enhancing the Digital Education Policy to create a more digitally savvy generation.

00:00Three, two, one.
00:11Since 2019, IDCF has been a year-long event.
00:19It is an event that brings together the main industries
00:23such as animation, digital and conventional games,
00:27creative technology, comics and comics under the names of
00:31such as IMAZ KL, Level Up KL and Kreatif.
00:36This year, for the first time, IDCF will be held
00:42along with the International Carnival My Digital Maker,
00:45a special annual event for students and teachers
00:49to showcase their innovation, science and technology projects.
00:54These two platforms offer a unique opportunity
00:59to connect various areas of interest in the digital ecosystem,
01:04including students, teachers, creators and technology companies

02:25This industry is also expected to maintain an annual growth rate
02:30of 7.55% by 2027.
02:35This growth is boosted by the use of smart phones,
02:39a stable and popular internet network,
02:42which is increasing not only in this country,
02:45but also in the global market.
02:49The digital industry in Malaysia employs around 10,000 professionals
02:56with around 300 studios that contribute to the ecosystem as a whole.
03:02This sector offers great potential in the development of economy and creativity.
03:08With the support of the government, through the initiatives implemented by MDEC,
03:13and indirectly facilitate cooperation on a global level.
03:19I hope that such initiatives can be continued with high commitment
03:27so that this country does not depend on talent and innovation
03:32that is needed to drive the Malaysian digital economy forward.
03:37I also hope that such programs can be expanded in schools
03:46from Kanggar to Kinabalu.
03:48The agencies under my ministry, the Ministry of Digital,
03:51are ready to help the Ministry of Education
03:54in accomplishing such initiatives in moving forward together.
04:00The Ministry of Digital is also ready to help the Ministry of Education
04:05strengthen the foundation of digital education
04:08so that we can see the birth of a digital generation that is competitive.
04:14This will certainly increase the number of digital workers
