Is 'Championship experience' so important and is it what Leeds need at all?
Transcript
00:00I'm personally not buying the experience thing as a big factor. Yes, they're young, but they are experienced
00:06and
00:07Yeah, I just found the comments quite interesting. I don't think they're experienced in the championship though
00:13You know a lot of them have had at most one season
00:17I I mean, I've just written in my newsletter piece that I thought he overplayed it a bit. I thought he was I thought he was
00:26slightly
00:27over-egging the pudding
00:31But
00:32They're not, you know
00:34two three hundred championship games under the belts
00:37But leads probably don't want a player with two to three hundred championship games under the belts because that's that's not the direction leads
00:45Want is it leads want to play in the Premier League? So the players you want are either
00:50players who are too good for the championship or
00:53Players who are young and are going to be too good for the championship
00:57That's why they're not going out and sign in
01:01You know someone like and he's not available but Sammy Morsi someone with a huge amount of EFL experience
01:09Because that's not really the profile for leads that that's not the trajectory
01:15But yeah, I see what he's saying. Is it perhaps
01:20overstated the need for championship experience
01:23Because who didn't have championship experience at the beginning of last season
01:26Sancho Somerville and Jorginho Ruta, Archie Gray didn't have any either. They were three of the division's best players
