Plane aborts landing as typhoon Shanshan makes landfall in Japan

Typhoon Shanshan made landfall in southwestern Japan on Thursday morning. At least three people have been killed and dozens injured. Millions of people were told to evacuate from their homes. Authorities have warned the storm could be one of the strongest ever to hit the region.
