Transcript
00:00Hello, I'm Joseph Mirovic and I'm standing here in the centre of Wolverhampton to tell you what I like about the food and drink within not just this city but the whole region.
00:09Wolverhampton is a place with plenty of places to go and eat. If you want your basic stuff you've got Greggs, you've got Subway, there's a McDonald's down there.
00:16But if you want something a bit more, it goes that way. You've got Broad Street with plenty of places to eat on there. Caribbean takeaways and curry restaurants and kebab places and pizza places you've got behind me.
00:28If you walk down that way you've got the Belas which is a Michelin rated Indian restaurant, top quality food there. We are in the biggest Sikh population outside of London so anywhere you go you can find yourself a decent curry.
00:39There's a Thai restaurant down there, there's fish and chip restaurants, everything in this city you could possibly look for.
00:44Go further afield you've got St Dudley, you've got Teddy Grey's, you've got Walsall with the pork scratchings.
00:50There's breweries all over this area, the Bankers Brewery, the wonderful Smotherworths over Wolverhampton, Holden's and ye olde Black Country.
00:58You've got pubs everywhere which offer fantastic beer, real ale, cider, indigenous beers to this area. Pork scratching, pork and stuffing, pork scratchings, pork and stuffing and gravy sandwiches.
01:10You've got Murrow Rocks Pie Factory which is top notch for pies. Basically if you're hungry, if you're thirsty, the Black Country, Staffordshire, White Forest, there's plenty to find around here so go out and find some and I'm going to.
