00:00:00This is where it gets scary, boys.
00:00:03Broke our wind shield.
00:00:04Oh, my gosh.
00:00:05Oh, God.
00:00:06This is too much.
00:00:07The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning.
00:00:10We're driving into the core of the storm.
00:00:12There's a tornado right there.
00:00:14We spent two years hunting for a real-life tornado.
00:00:18The lightning behind me is insane.
00:00:20Traveling through some of the most dangerous storms there are.
00:00:23The whole van is shaking.
00:00:24And during this trip, I realized how destructive Mother Nature can be.
00:00:29It took out that entire windmill.
00:00:31Oh, there it is.
00:00:32A confirmed dangerous tornado on the ground.
00:00:34What?
00:00:35Oh, there it is.
00:00:36Go, go, go.
00:00:37Wow.
00:00:38What do you mean?
00:00:39It took us two years.
00:00:43But we finally got one.
00:00:46Wow.
00:00:48Severe weather caused significant damage.
00:00:50Powerful straight-line winds gusting up to hurricane strength.
00:00:55This is Max and Aaron.
00:00:56They're professional storm chasers.
00:00:58And they've caught some wild tornadoes in the past.
00:01:00All right, we're going to go get a little bit closer.
00:01:02They're going to be our guides as we navigate through some of the most dangerous storms in existence.
00:01:09We're starting our storm chasing journey here in the northern tip of Texas.
00:01:13This area sees a lot of tornadoes during this time of the year.
00:01:16So we're hoping to catch one on camera.
00:01:19What do we got going on here?
00:01:20What is this?
00:01:21We're looking at the satellite.
00:01:22And it looks like the area around us is pretty favorable for supercells,
00:01:24which are the rotating storms that produce tornadoes.
00:01:26Okay.
00:01:27And this is one of our models that we look at that is going to give us a representation of what things are going to happen today.
00:01:32We're here, and we're going to go here and hopefully document some cool storms later today.
00:01:35How far away is that storm that's going to approach us?
00:01:37Maybe an hour away.
00:01:38So let's get on the road.
00:01:39All right.
00:01:40Let's do it.
00:01:41Our goal for this trip is to see a tornado because we've never seen one before.
00:01:46Yeah, it does not look like a storm is coming at all.
00:01:49But there's a tornado coming, even though it is a beautiful day.
00:01:53So what we have right in front of us is the beginning stages of a supercell.
00:01:57It doesn't look impressive yet, but it's got all kind of the telltale signs for what will become a really big storm later.
00:02:02We just got to kind of wait for it.
00:02:04That's one thing about storm chasing that I didn't expect.
00:02:06It's a lot of waiting.
00:02:07Yeah.
00:02:09How are you boys doing back there?
00:02:11Waiting.
00:02:12Get me out of here.
00:02:13Get me out of here.
00:02:14Should we just go west?
00:02:15Let's just go west.
00:02:17The chase begins now.
00:02:19Oh, yeah.
00:02:20Catching a tornado.
00:02:28Not exactly a weatherman, but that is a massive storm that is forming behind us.
00:02:32There's no noodles yet touching the ground, but it is slowly picking up strength.
00:02:36We can feel the wind coming in.
00:02:38The storm is sucking up a lot of air.
00:02:40I'm learning a lot of things about weather right now.
00:02:43I love being on the side of the road.
00:02:44I love it.
00:02:45All right.
00:02:46Now we have an E45 collecting to this storm.
00:02:48E45?
00:02:49E45.
00:02:50You mean like an EF5?
00:02:51Yeah.
00:02:52The same thing.
00:02:53We just use numbers instead of letters.
00:02:54Okay.
00:02:55Right.
00:02:56Right.
00:02:57Right.
00:02:58But if we close this.
00:02:59Oh, snap.
00:03:00Where'd it go?
00:03:01Oh, gosh.
00:03:02You broke it.
00:03:03Oh, gosh.
00:03:04Okay.
00:03:05All right.
00:03:06Really storm.
00:03:13So our storm just went severe warned, which means it hit the criteria of 60 mile an hour
00:03:16winds and at least quarter size hails.
00:03:18So we should be getting a view of the structure any moment now.
00:03:20That storm behind us is huge.
00:03:21The entire thing is just rotating.
00:03:24We could possibly see a tornado right now.
00:03:26It's really far away, but it could be our first sighting.
00:03:29I think it tried to put one down there just for a sec.
00:03:32It's going to cycle and then it's going to try again here in a few minutes, which will
00:03:35give us time to get an even better position.
00:03:37And then we might even get some of that giant hail that we're seeing on the radar.
00:03:40Yeah.
00:03:41That's probably the craziest thing when you're standing out there looking at that storm.
00:03:44There's not even a tornado yet, but it's sucking in so much air behind it and just
00:03:48getting stronger and bigger and rotating faster and faster.
00:03:51We got a tornado warning.
00:03:52Oh, really?
00:03:53It's capable of producing a tornado.
00:03:58Emergency alert.
00:03:59Only tornado warning in the whole country.
00:04:01And it's right there.
00:04:03Take shelter in a basement?
00:04:04I think not.
00:04:05Take shelter on top of a van?
00:04:07I think so.
00:04:08With a camera.
00:04:10Look at that.
00:04:13That is terrifying.
00:04:14It looks like the end of the world.
00:04:16So if it lands, would it be coming towards us?
00:04:19Yeah.
00:04:20Right towards us.
00:04:21Oh, great.
00:04:22We want that.
00:04:23This entire thing is just spinning.
00:04:25Look at this.
00:04:26This is crazy.
00:04:30So we think that this storm is probably done with its tornado potential.
00:04:34It's kind of on the downward trend.
00:04:36It's gusting out, becoming more outflow dominant.
00:04:38We got about a three and a half hour drive ahead of us to our next hotel for tomorrow.
00:04:42So we're going to give this one last chance at some hail and then probably start a trek south.
00:04:46So not a bad day one.
00:04:47That storm is as close as you get to a tornado.
00:04:49I mean, it wrapped up so hard with spinning like crazy.
00:04:52It just, that last little bit didn't have it.
00:04:54But still got a bunch of days left.
00:04:59We are headed out to Oklahoma.
00:05:01Apparently there's a storm forming up there.
00:05:03So let's go.
00:05:04Three and a half hour drive to Oklahoma.
00:05:09Just made it to Oklahoma.
00:05:10We're rolling through a town right now that just suffered some tornado damage a couple weeks ago.
00:05:14Unfortunately, when Mother Nature decides to go into populated areas, this is what happens.
00:05:20It is super sad to see all these buildings and homes completely destroyed.
00:05:25But luckily we looked at the news and no one passed away.
00:05:29Shawnee is the one town that took a direct hit.
00:05:31They all hit at night too.
00:05:32So a lot of people were in bed or had to, you know, get to shelter pretty quickly
00:05:36because they couldn't actually see the tornado coming until it was already on top of them.
00:05:39Do you all know what kind of tornado went through here?
00:05:41It was an EF2 over a mile wide.
00:05:43And it had these intense vortices that were touching down in different locations around that.
00:05:48So that's why you see some areas of intense damage and others not as intense.
00:05:51I feel like I'm living in like a movie or something right now.
00:05:54It doesn't even feel real.
00:05:55So this used to be a building and now it just looks like a giant junkyard.
00:06:07Probably driven about 300 miles.
00:06:09There's a large supercell storm slowly forming right above our heads.
00:06:14This thing is constantly getting stronger and stronger.
00:06:16And we might see something here.
00:06:18This is looking good.
00:06:19Their predictions say it looked good.
00:06:20I have no idea what I'm looking at.
00:06:21I'm just looking at a dark cloud.
00:06:23There's our storm.
00:06:25Looking nice.
00:06:26And that's our supercell.
00:06:27It's forming.
00:06:28But that road down there ends and the storm is going that way.
00:06:31And this one is going into somewhere that is not drivable.
00:06:38Do you know what happened on day three?
00:06:40Nothing.
00:06:41Nothing.
00:06:42Nothing.
00:06:43No, seriously.
00:06:44We didn't do anything.
00:06:46Well, we ate the world's largest steak.
00:06:48This steak is bigger than my head.
00:06:50Put that meat in your mouth.
00:06:52And we went whitewater rafting.
00:06:54Whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle.
00:06:56Whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle.
00:06:58Whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle.
00:07:01Whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle, whittle.
00:07:03And now we've got a long drive ahead of us.
00:07:06Probably been driving for the last eight hours.
00:07:08And this is what we're hunting now.
00:07:14So if a tornado is going to form, it's going to come right from there?
00:07:17Yep.
00:07:18That little spot?
00:07:19Yep.
00:07:20So we're right here near Cone.
00:07:23And this thing is trying to wrap up.
00:07:25It's getting a couplet.
00:07:27And that's literally right out our window.
00:07:29We're going to kind of sit here and thread the needle so we have a view in here.
00:07:32All right, we're going, boys.
00:07:40How fast is this storm moving right now?
00:07:43It's moving 30 to 40 miles an hour.
00:07:46That's pretty fast.
00:07:48It's a big storm, dude.
00:07:50You look behind us and you don't even see the end of it.
00:07:53It just looks like it goes forever.
00:07:55Dude, that thing looks insane.
00:07:58We're starting to get a ton of dust.
00:08:01On this day, we might encounter a tornado.
00:08:05We shall see.
00:08:07Right now, we only have dust and rain on the forecast.
00:08:10I think this is a weak tornado.
00:08:12The circulation is coming.
00:08:14I mean, you can see fog literally going in the spiral.
00:08:17You've got this really condensed area of dust.
00:08:19You can see how much it's spinning.
00:08:21We're going? All right.
00:08:22It's coming straight towards us right now, so we should probably get in the van and go.
00:08:25All right, go, go, go.
00:08:26Sometimes the visibility can get reduced to zero in these winds of dust.
00:08:30What happens if the car breaks down?
00:08:32Yeah, well, you know.
00:08:34The car would be broken down.
00:08:36We'd be experiencing something that would be kind of like a car wash.
00:08:39A washing machine.
00:08:41I'd lose some windows.
00:08:48We saw the beginning of a really weak tornado forming,
00:08:51but unfortunately, this storm is getting weaker
00:08:54and it's not going to produce anything.
00:08:58Yes! Let it!
00:09:00Oh, it's getting wet!
00:09:02Go!
00:09:03It's now the fifth day to try and see a tornado.
00:09:06Every time we've gotten close, it dies or gets away from us.
00:09:10And it always seems like on these trips,
00:09:12it's the last day or two that provide us with the goods.
00:09:15When all hope seems to be lost.
00:09:17I just want to let you all know that I'm getting depressed.
00:09:19We are too.
00:09:21Well, we have a monster storm right in front of us.
00:09:25James, what do you think?
00:09:27I think it's very windy.
00:09:29It is very windy.
00:09:31Oh, my hat!
00:09:32Form brother, give me a noodle!
00:09:35To show you guys how windy it is, we decided to bring a kite.
00:09:40Yeah, we got a kite, baby!
00:09:42So, we have a cone.
00:09:44Oh, it's dipping down more now.
00:09:46It's crazy because it's starting to get a little calm over here.
00:09:48The wind is slowing down. It's not as windy.
00:09:50This storm is fighting this storm over here.
00:09:53And they're kind of sucking power out of each other.
00:09:55One of them needs to take over.
00:09:57But it's just a waiting game.
00:10:01Let's go, let's go, let's go!
00:10:03We're rolling south. We've got to get closer to the storm.
00:10:12We just found another storm and this one's looking really, really healthy.
00:10:15That is a very angry storm right there.
00:10:17Oh, yeah.
00:10:18Look at that.
00:10:19That boy look angry.
00:10:21There's some of the hail.
00:10:23Oh, we're getting smacked.
00:10:26Some of the biggest hail I've ever seen.
00:10:29Oh!
00:10:30It's windy, boys!
00:10:32Dude, you can't see more than 5 feet in front of you.
00:10:34I almost need earplugs, bro.
00:10:36It's clearing up, Gabriel.
00:10:38I know, you can actually see the road now.
00:10:40Come on, bro, let's feel it!
00:10:43Oh! They're hitting my legs!
00:10:45I don't need an umbrella, baby! It's cold!
00:10:47I'm just getting pounded by ice!
00:10:49I'm going down!
00:10:51I'm going down!
00:10:53I got the feet!
00:10:55Whoa, what was that?
00:10:57I'm going inside!
00:11:00The hail was super cool, but this is the third storm we chased today.
00:11:03This storm is getting weaker, so we're wrapping up today.
00:11:07It's the last day or two that provide us with the goods.
00:11:13The storm number 14, I lost track.
00:11:16This boy is cooking like a rotisserie chicken.
00:11:20Days and days, oh!
00:11:22Days and days of seeing these storms, and they don't get old.
00:11:25Let's go check with the experts to see what they think.
00:11:28This storm is very angry.
00:11:30It's chucking out lightning bolts about every 5 seconds within a 2-mile radius of our location.
00:11:35It's currently 6pm right now, and it is just building.
00:11:38It's just getting started.
00:11:40We're looking at the beginning of a massive storm that is forming.
00:11:43I still have some faith.
00:11:45And this could be the one.
00:11:48Or it couldn't.
00:11:49As the supercell intensified, we made our way closer to the center of the storm.
00:11:55That is one angry storm.
00:11:58It is moving so quickly, too.
00:12:00Look how low it is. It almost looks like it's touching the ground.
00:12:04Dude, that looks crazy!
00:12:07It's pushing all those clouds, and then it's starting to pull them and suck them up.
00:12:11Dude, I've never seen anything like that.
00:12:14That is scary, but yet beautiful at the same time.
00:12:18That storm is moving very quickly, so we need to catch up with it.
00:12:22Is that a good sign?
00:12:23If any storm has the best chance of producing a tornado, it's this one right here this entire trip.
00:12:27That wind pushing us hard, I can feel it.
00:12:33Dude, these clouds are spinning like crazy. I don't know if we have a tornado in front of us or what.
00:12:37It got cold.
00:12:38Yeah, it got really cold. It dropped probably like 15 degrees.
00:12:41What's that on the left?
00:12:44That's a tornado!
00:12:46That's a tornado for sure!
00:12:48That's a tornado beginning to form.
00:12:50That's a baby tornado.
00:12:51That is definitely a tornado.
00:12:53Oh my gosh, this rain hurts. This is hail!
00:12:57We're going to need to go like real soon!
00:13:04That was sick!
00:13:05That was awesome!
00:13:06This storm is moving quick, so we've got to keep up with it.
00:13:09It's literally right on our tails.
00:13:11This is about to dive southeast here.
00:13:13Do you all know how fast these winds are?
00:13:15Probably 60 miles per hour.
00:13:17Probably about to get up to 80 if we were to stay here.
00:13:20Holy crap!
00:13:22I'm low-key kind of scared, but excited at the same time.
00:13:25We've been spending so much time waiting for this to happen, but it's also scary.
00:13:30Dude, the entire car feels like it's going to tip.
00:13:34Shhhh...
00:13:37Whoo!
00:13:39Oh-ho!
00:13:41That's some big hail.
00:13:43We might lose the window.
00:13:46Oh my god!
00:13:48That's so loud.
00:13:50Puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle, puddle.
00:13:53Splash, splash, splash!
00:13:55Yeah!
00:13:57What?!
00:13:58What?!
00:13:59It looks like it's going to try to crawl back around here soon.
00:14:02Oh, that looks really good.
00:14:03Oh, that's going to produce those really big tornadoes.
00:14:06It's already had a couple of cone features
00:14:08try and come down.
00:14:09That's a storm that we see is capable of producing
00:14:11a fully condensed real tornado.
00:14:13This is freaking crazy.
00:14:15This storm looks insane.
00:14:19Look at how green it is over there.
00:14:23Looks like a alien UFO Stranger Things episode.
00:14:27I don't even know.
00:14:29It's going to be that time where the low-level jet will
00:14:32start ramping up.
00:14:32So hopefully, this thing can maintain
00:14:35and we can get another bigger tornado later.
00:14:38Oh, my gosh.
00:14:43What is it?
00:14:44What is it?
00:14:44What's the warning?
00:14:45Tornado.
00:14:46Ooh.
00:14:47Is it a tornado warning?
00:14:48Yeah.
00:14:48All right.
00:14:50Oh, close the door.
00:14:52It's raining.
00:14:53It's raining.
00:14:54Look at that.
00:14:55Tornado warning.
00:14:56We got a tornado warning.
00:15:00Oh, tornado right there.
00:15:01Right on the right.
00:15:02Tornado.
00:15:03So tight.
00:15:05Oh, my goodness.
00:15:06Big tornado.
00:15:08Right there.
00:15:08White tornado right there.
00:15:12I don't see the tornado.
00:15:14I don't see it.
00:15:15You take this camera.
00:15:16I don't know how to work it.
00:15:18Can you see it?
00:15:19Fully condensed, fat stovepipe tornado right there
00:15:21to the right of the windmills.
00:15:23It's going to be right in that area.
00:15:24We can't see it right now because it's
00:15:26behind a wall of rain.
00:15:27So it's not visible to us.
00:15:28What was the wind?
00:15:29Oh, my gosh.
00:15:29Oh, my lord.
00:15:30I almost lost the contact just now.
00:15:32It is windy right now.
00:15:35What did you get smacked by something in the air?
00:15:37Is that hail?
00:15:38Oh, hail?
00:15:38Gabe, look at that piece.
00:15:43Look at that boy.
00:15:44Give it to me.
00:15:45Here, Gabe.
00:15:51This is the prime time for it.
00:15:52This is what we've been telling you guys.
00:15:53We just needed a storm like this.
00:15:55All right, let's reposition.
00:15:56Reposition, reposition.
00:15:58Oh, it's coming, boys.
00:16:00What are we looking at?
00:16:01Right in between these two windmills right here.
00:16:05Right smack center in the middle of that little clear area.
00:16:07That's where the tornado is developing.
00:16:09It's getting a little wrapped in rain now.
00:16:10Look at that thing wrapping around on radar.
00:16:13Yeah, huge.
00:16:14Oh, my gosh.
00:16:15Huge area of rotation.
00:16:16That's what we're looking at.
00:16:17That should cross right up here.
00:16:18So yeah, let's chill.
00:16:20If this tornado drops down, it's literally
00:16:21going to be right next to us.
00:16:24And it's probably going to cross in front of the road.
00:16:29Boys, it is freaking windy outside.
00:16:33Oh, my gosh.
00:16:34Look at those clouds.
00:16:36This is unreal experiencing this in person.
00:16:44All right, door closed, door closed, door closed.
00:16:46Oh!
00:16:53Oh, I think I can see it.
00:16:55I think it's right here.
00:16:57Oh, yeah, I see that now.
00:16:58I definitely see that.
00:16:59Got a big tornado right there, I think.
00:17:01Can you see that?
00:17:02Yep, big tornado.
00:17:05See the edge?
00:17:05Oh, yeah, I see the rain.
00:17:06That's the left edge of it right there.
00:17:07I see it passing into it.
00:17:07Can you see it, Noah?
00:17:08Yeah.
00:17:09See that?
00:17:09That's the left edge of the tornado right there.
00:17:12Massive tornado.
00:17:13Absolutely.
00:17:14That's probably a strong tornado.
00:17:16Holy cow.
00:17:17All right, let's bail.
00:17:19OK.
00:17:20I'm not going either.
00:17:20We're bailing north.
00:17:22Oh!
00:17:24Into the storm, boys.
00:17:26Oh, my god.
00:17:29I can't see anything on the road right now.
00:17:32This is crazy.
00:17:35What are we in right now?
00:17:39A creek.
00:17:39Can you even see right now?
00:17:42Oh, my god, this is freaking insane.
00:17:46I'm going to keep going just in case it dries and wraps back
00:17:48around.
00:17:57I can't even see the road we're driving on right now.
00:18:00We're definitely safe now, so.
00:18:03We're safe?
00:18:03We're safe now?
00:18:04We're safe.
00:18:05OK.
00:18:06We went north because if that tornado would have occluded,
00:18:09it would have come right at us.
00:18:10And that was a big tornado.
00:18:11Those are the tornadoes that are capable of producing
00:18:13EF2 plus 5 damage if they hit anything.
00:18:16Dude, my heart is freaking pounding right now.
00:18:19I thought that was just a cloud.
00:18:20That whole thing was a tornado.
00:18:22No.
00:18:22That sky, that blue sky, that left edge
00:18:25is the whole tornado.
00:18:26This is the start of the tornado.
00:18:27The other part of the tornado is right over here.
00:18:29That's a huge wedge, probably a half mile wide.
00:18:32Half mile wide, bro.
00:18:34Oh, my.
00:18:35I was confused for a sec because I was like,
00:18:37where's the tornado?
00:18:38The whole thing's a tornado.
00:18:39I was like, oh, that whole thing is a tornado, half mile wide.
00:18:44That got my heart pounding.
00:18:45I was scared.
00:18:46I was actually scared there for a second.
00:18:48That's why we turned around and bailed
00:18:49because we don't want any part of that.
00:18:50That's dangerous.
00:18:51But we got out of there just in the nick of time.
00:18:56In our first storm chase, we hunted a tornado
00:18:59but barely saw it as it was turning into night.
00:19:03And it was truly unforgettable.
00:19:05But we wanted more.
00:19:07We waited an entire year.
00:19:09But we finally got our second chance.
00:19:14Dude, we're chasing tornadoes.
00:19:16I've never been to Kansas.
00:19:18We have a chance of producing a tornado.
00:19:20But if it turns right and it goes along that east-west
00:19:23boundary, then it'll have a much greater tornado potential
00:19:26and for a longer period of time.
00:19:28Most of the days we chased last year
00:19:29were a one or two out of five.
00:19:31Today's a four out of five.
00:19:33Not too often we get the four out of five.
00:19:35A lot of driving and a lot of patience.
00:19:37We knew where we had to go.
00:19:38But it took a while to get there.
00:19:40There's a storm in front of us.
00:19:42We're 74 miles away from it.
00:19:44It's currently producing tornado warnings.
00:19:46But we're not there.
00:19:49Shortly-ish, it's going to cut.
00:19:52How often do cows, or really any farm animals,
00:19:57get pulled up into the twister?
00:20:04Documented, not very often.
00:20:06But it does happen.
00:20:07I don't understand how it doesn't happen more often.
00:20:09They're outside, so are the twisters.
00:20:11They're not very aerodynamic.
00:20:12They're pretty heavy.
00:20:13Cows are heavy.
00:20:14A lot of times cows are going to get rolled around.
00:20:17They're not going to get lofted up.
00:20:19Maybe some chickens.
00:20:20It's also not that likely for a car to get picked up.
00:20:24It's not terribly common.
00:20:25No, most of the time they roll.
00:20:27Roll, yeah.
00:20:28They never 100% confirmed it.
00:20:30But in the damage survey, it's a suspicious dent
00:20:33that's on the top of a water tower.
00:20:34And it's red.
00:20:35And there's a red pickup truck that's away from it.
00:20:38And they think that the tornado picked up the pickup truck
00:20:41and threw it to the top of the water tower
00:20:42and it bounced off.
00:20:43But they couldn't confirm it.
00:20:44Mother Nature is just trying to make a slam dunk.
00:20:51So basically this storm is still cooking,
00:20:53like a rotisserie chicken.
00:20:55Because you got to understand that these storms are huge.
00:20:57How wide is the storm right now?
00:20:58This one alone is training over four to five counties.
00:21:03It's literally like 75 miles long.
00:21:05Yeah, 65 to 75.
00:21:06That's crazy.
00:21:07How do you know where the tornado is going to be
00:21:10out of all that 75 miles?
00:21:11This isn't really a true couplet,
00:21:13but it's a good example.
00:21:15So if you see green blowing this way
00:21:17and red blowing this way,
00:21:19and they're kind of meeting each other,
00:21:20that means wind is going away from the radar
00:21:23and towards the radar.
00:21:24So that means that there's an area of rotation.
00:21:26And that's how we know where to go to for a tornado.
00:21:34Over here, it's like, oh yeah.
00:21:36Might have to put some sunscreen lotion on over here.
00:21:41Oh yeah.
00:21:42I think it's my last day on Earth.
00:21:44Okay.
00:21:45That is so terrifying.
00:21:46That looks scary.
00:21:47We're going back into that?
00:21:49Yeah.
00:21:51One thing we've learned about tornado hunting
00:21:53is how quickly the weather can change.
00:21:58There we go.
00:22:01Tornado warning.
00:22:02Wet.
00:22:03You know you're getting into the storm,
00:22:05like the eye of it when it starts raining real bad.
00:22:08Oh yeah, there it is.
00:22:10There's the rain.
00:22:12Now it's getting wet.
00:22:13We're in it, baby.
00:22:17Here comes the hail.
00:22:19It's starting.
00:22:20This is where it gets scary, boys.
00:22:22Yes.
00:22:23And you can't see anything.
00:22:25I don't know.
00:22:26We got a half mile.
00:22:27Yeah, let's try it.
00:22:28Broke our windshield.
00:22:30Did we?
00:22:30Yeah, right here in front of your camera.
00:22:31Oh God.
00:22:33Oh God, I don't know.
00:22:36Got to decide.
00:22:37Yeah, we got to turn around.
00:22:39We're going to lose all our glass.
00:22:41Yeah, we're going to lose all our glass.
00:22:43Hail's too big at the moment.
00:22:49Oh my God.
00:22:51Window break.
00:22:53That's crazy.
00:22:54That didn't even happen last time.
00:22:56We didn't break any windows last year,
00:22:58but now we have a broke windshield and a broken window.
00:23:01Just trying to get to a place where we can fix that.
00:23:05And in order to do so,
00:23:06we kind of just got to stay on the south side of this storm
00:23:08and not get back up into the notch,
00:23:10which is where we want to be.
00:23:12We're like 30 seconds from being perfect position
00:23:14with the storm for the next little bit,
00:23:16but it is what it is.
00:23:17Once we can get some Gorilla tape and cardboard,
00:23:20we can cover it up and we won't be compromised.
00:23:23Well, we're here in a little town of Hollyrood, Kansas,
00:23:27and a kind gentleman was nice enough to go to his house
00:23:30just a couple minutes ago and give us some duct tapes.
00:23:31We're going to get it patched up
00:23:32and get ready for an even crazier event later this evening.
00:23:35The hail that we were getting hit with
00:23:36was probably about this big.
00:23:39Balls of hail just sitting on the side of the road
00:23:41as we were driving.
00:23:45Yeah, it'll hold for a while.
00:23:47It's a nasty storm.
00:23:50Nasty.
00:23:50We should still get some winds here,
00:23:52so we might even just let this roll us in town right now
00:23:56and see if we can get some stuff blowing around.
00:23:57Oh, wow, yeah.
00:23:59Oh, is it?
00:24:00Yeah, it's a...
00:24:01Is it really good?
00:24:02Like, that's a boob.
00:24:04That looks crazy.
00:24:06That actually looks insane.
00:24:08Holy cow.
00:24:10You see that hole there?
00:24:13Oh.
00:24:15Woo-hoo-hoo!
00:24:17Look at that.
00:24:19Okay, so just so we're clear,
00:24:20that's not a tornado, right?
00:24:21No.
00:24:22Okay, thank God.
00:24:24We're driving straight into it.
00:24:25I just gotta make sure.
00:24:26Oh!
00:24:27Dude, that's a lot of dust.
00:24:30It's moving quick.
00:24:32This looks like a tornado.
00:24:33It does, but it's not.
00:24:34It's just a giant wall of dust.
00:24:36It looks crazy, though.
00:24:40It's a dirt cloud.
00:24:43We have made them into God's angry.
00:24:49Dude, it's swallowing up the trees.
00:24:51Oh, it's right behind us.
00:24:53We're gonna die!
00:24:54It's gonna eat us.
00:24:55Oh, it's about to hit us.
00:24:57We're about to be in it.
00:24:58It's like an apocalypse.
00:24:59Look at that, dude.
00:25:02All right, Eric,
00:25:03do we wanna just ride it out here?
00:25:04Yeah.
00:25:07All right, windows up.
00:25:08Up, here we go.
00:25:10Whoa, look, look.
00:25:11Look in front of you.
00:25:13Oh my gosh.
00:25:18Wow.
00:25:21Oh my.
00:25:24Look at this street.
00:25:30You need a light?
00:25:30Oh my gosh.
00:25:32It's dark.
00:25:34It's completely dark.
00:25:35This is crazy.
00:25:37I've never seen one this creepy.
00:25:41Dude, imagine just being in your backyard,
00:25:43just sipping on a glass of tea,
00:25:44and next thing you know,
00:25:45you're just completely covered in sand.
00:25:47The storm.
00:25:48Look at that tree.
00:25:49Yo, the whole van is shaking.
00:25:53Yeah, this is crazy.
00:25:54I mean, it feels like we're in a very weak tornado,
00:25:59but it's not a tornado, it's just a ton of dust.
00:26:02It's already starting to lighten up a little bit.
00:26:04Dude, it's getting windier.
00:26:05The storm pushes out all its cool outflow
00:26:07along this boundary,
00:26:09and since there's a bit of a drought out here,
00:26:11all this loose dust and topsoil is getting picked up
00:26:14and thrown into the sky,
00:26:15and we're getting winds probably now 50, 60 miles per hour,
00:26:19just starting to blow stuff around.
00:26:21Yeah, you can tell it's really coming in sideways.
00:26:24I have dust all over my phone.
00:26:26Yeah.
00:26:27There's so much dust that came into the van
00:26:29just from our window being open for like 30 seconds.
00:26:32We shouldn't chase tornadoes.
00:26:33We should just chase dust.
00:26:35Yeah, that was wild.
00:26:37Tornado siren going off in this town.
00:26:53Wow.
00:26:57After a good night's sleep,
00:26:58we waited for the next storm to show up at a rest stop.
00:27:01The professionals have told us
00:27:02that this is gonna be a tornado.
00:27:06So that cloud right there is gonna grow.
00:27:09It's gonna suck up all these other clouds,
00:27:11and it's gonna just form a big cloud,
00:27:14and then it's gonna start spinning,
00:27:17and then it's just gonna add a tornado.
00:27:22Is that how it works?
00:27:23I think so.
00:27:25We in the middle of nowhere right now.
00:27:27We found ourselves a pizza from this place.
00:27:31I already ate half of it, but like, this is dinner.
00:27:34Can we get a chicken review?
00:27:36Our native cheese.
00:27:37This is a PG channel.
00:27:39It's not bad.
00:27:40It's pretty crunchy.
00:27:41There's not too much flavor to it.
00:27:42It could be spicy.
00:27:43I like spicy.
00:27:44It's pretty good.
00:27:45I saw some steaks in there,
00:27:46and they sell stuff to, we could grill.
00:27:50You wanna grill?
00:27:51Guys, I feel rain.
00:27:52What does that mean?
00:27:54It means we're gonna see some storms later.
00:27:56And you know what that means?
00:27:57It means we're gonna have a good day.
00:27:58Oh, really?
00:28:09Gonna go north, and then east, and then north.
00:28:12This is definitely gonna be the storm we're on
00:28:14for the next few hours,
00:28:15and it's only gonna get worse from here.
00:28:16It's only gonna get bigger and badder.
00:28:19I wanna go get my own eyes on this bad boy.
00:28:23Dang, dude.
00:28:25This future forming right here.
00:28:27Yeah.
00:28:28It's an inflow tail starting to form.
00:28:30So that's what feeds the storm.
00:28:32That's a really good sign that it's starting to strengthen.
00:28:39Dang, dude.
00:28:40Oh, a raindrop just went right on my spine.
00:28:43It's cold.
00:28:44Wow.
00:28:45Look at all those storm chasers.
00:28:47Oh my gosh.
00:28:48It's a whole fleet of them.
00:28:49Why are they running?
00:28:49Should we run too?
00:28:50Oh, dude, it's cold out here.
00:28:52Oh, I just got dirt in my mouth.
00:28:54It's gritty.
00:28:55Gritty.
00:28:56Gritty.
00:28:58Oh, that's so cute.
00:29:00Look at that baby little cloud getting sucked up.
00:29:04Yo, what is that thing hanging down?
00:29:06Basically pulling up better moisture.
00:29:08It's becoming a lot more surface based.
00:29:10You know how when we got here,
00:29:11it was real high up?
00:29:12Yeah.
00:29:13Now it's getting lower.
00:29:14You see that?
00:29:14Better moisture.
00:29:17I wanna get back in the van here soon.
00:29:18These CGs are getting pretty intense.
00:29:20Yeah?
00:29:21So a CG is a cloud, ground, lightning strike?
00:29:24Yeah.
00:29:25You need to hold a key on a kite?
00:29:27I do.
00:29:27That's the last thing I want you to do right now, James.
00:29:30So right here, we might have a developing tornado.
00:29:32This is really cranking and rotating right here.
00:29:34Just needs to consolidate down a little bit.
00:29:36But this is everything you want to see before a tornado.
00:29:39You've got the pretty green with the orange sunset.
00:29:43This is a monster.
00:29:49This is the most insane thing.
00:29:50Why do we do this?
00:29:55You're looking the wrong way.
00:29:58I know.
00:29:59I know.
00:30:00I'm just looking at the sunlight, you know?
00:30:01There's hope over there.
00:30:03Yeah, it's really ripping over there.
00:30:05So if this tornado drops, where is it gonna go?
00:30:09It's gonna go directly south of us.
00:30:11Are we sure?
00:30:12Yes.
00:30:13Okay.
00:30:14Everybody on our road is leaving except for us.
00:30:17How's it looking, boys?
00:30:19Looking good.
00:30:20Needs to consolidate in one spot.
00:30:22I mean, there's just so much rotation everywhere.
00:30:25This looks really classic.
00:30:27We've been in hail for like 10 minutes now.
00:30:29Yeah, I think that's a tornado back there.
00:30:30That's a tornado?
00:30:31We can see it on our camera.
00:30:33It's a little hazy.
00:30:34We're waiting to see if it pops out,
00:30:35but there's a very suspicious feature back there.
00:30:38It should get more clear with time.
00:30:40I just want to let y'all know that everyone
00:30:41is driving the opposite way right now.
00:30:43We are in a good position right now
00:30:45and we have multiple escape options.
00:30:46Just want to make sure I just, you know,
00:30:48we've had like seven cars go the other way.
00:30:50Yeah, they were moving quick.
00:30:51These are the instances where we like to be
00:30:54in this position at the moment
00:30:55because this is the best spot to view it
00:30:57because if you're anywhere else, it's rain-wrapped.
00:30:59So this is an instance where
00:31:01situational awareness is very key.
00:31:02We have multiple escape routes.
00:31:04We know our way out of here.
00:31:05We're watching the storm.
00:31:06We know where the area is and we can escape safely.
00:31:08Tornadoes can be extremely unpredictable when they move
00:31:11and an exit strategy is crucial when chasing them.
00:31:15We're in the middle of nowhere with limited roads
00:31:17and these tornadoes can make very sudden turns.
00:31:20Right now, hail is the biggest concern
00:31:22and it's not even that big.
00:31:24Yeah, the hail's getting heavier and bigger.
00:31:28Oh my gosh.
00:31:31It's so loud.
00:31:32You got to understand that a tornado
00:31:34is still a massive storm.
00:31:35So there's so many things that can obstruct your view.
00:31:38The one we chased yesterday was 75 miles wide.
00:31:42There's so many places to be.
00:31:44Oh, it looks like straight death behind us.
00:31:49Woo, buddy.
00:31:50I can barely hear myself talk.
00:31:52The whole road is white.
00:31:56We're currently trying to make it
00:31:57to the front of the storm right now
00:31:59because there's a lot of rotation on it.
00:32:00So we think it's going to produce a tornado.
00:32:02The storm is still over here to our right.
00:32:05When big supercell storms like this happen,
00:32:07tornadoes don't just produce instantly.
00:32:09They could take hours upon hours.
00:32:12It just takes the right amount of circulation.
00:32:15Look at that.
00:32:18What you're seeing on camera right now
00:32:19is actually what it looks like.
00:32:20It is just straight pitch black in front of us.
00:32:24Oh, there goes the big satellite.
00:32:26Yeah, it's the Doppler on wheels.
00:32:27So it's basically like the radar that we're looking at here,
00:32:30but instead of it being in one fixed location,
00:32:33it's on the back of a truck.
00:32:34So they're able to travel and get really close range,
00:32:36detailed data of the tornadoes.
00:32:38We're moving back up to the highway
00:32:40because there's no roads that go that way.
00:32:41They're all dead ends.
00:32:48Another tornado warning.
00:32:50We're stopping for some gas right now.
00:32:51The lightning behind me is absolutely insane.
00:32:54Oh!
00:32:58What?
00:33:01Look at that.
00:33:02Oh my gosh.
00:33:03It's so freaking windy too.
00:33:06Woo!
00:33:07We were chasing this storm for hours.
00:33:09And even though there wasn't a tornado,
00:33:10it was starting to get dangerous in other ways.
00:33:13Gonna go try and find a car wash or something
00:33:15that we can shelter from in this
00:33:17potentially baseball-sized hail coming towards us.
00:33:20Yeah, that wouldn't be good.
00:33:21Baseball's what broke our window last time, right?
00:33:23No, that was like tennis balls.
00:33:25Oh!
00:33:26So it's probably gonna hit us
00:33:27in about three-ish minutes, maybe.
00:33:29We just have to get there
00:33:30because everyone usually freaks out
00:33:31and then starts parking their cars under seat
00:33:33to get your spot before it's taken.
00:33:35Yeah.
00:33:41That's a siren.
00:33:42That's a tornado siren.
00:33:44If you're caught in a storm producing large amounts of hail,
00:33:46it's super important to find shelter immediately
00:33:48to avoid unnecessary damage.
00:33:54There's massive baseball-sized hails
00:33:56that's coming towards us.
00:33:57And we don't want to blow out all of our windows
00:33:59because we already blew out one.
00:34:01Tornado warning, critical, I'm in your area.
00:34:12That's crazy, man.
00:34:14Wow, that's intimidating.
00:34:18Something about seeing sand flying, scary.
00:34:22Woo, it's windy.
00:34:24Wind, dust, hail, fiber.
00:34:28The storm kind of stopped moving,
00:34:29it's kind of stalling out.
00:34:30The other issue is, is it's almost nine o'clock at night
00:34:34and we have a six-hour drive ahead of us
00:34:36to get in position for the storms tomorrow,
00:34:39which are supposed to be crazy as well.
00:34:44We're currently in Oklahoma,
00:34:45which is part of Tornado Alley
00:34:47and has tons of activity every year.
00:34:50Today is Thursday, May 23rd, 7.29 this time.
00:34:58Might have to sit and wait on 62
00:34:59because it's swinging north, it's doing a deviant move.
00:35:03On the hunt.
00:35:04What's it looking like?
00:35:06There's one down for sure, we just got to get a view of it.
00:35:08It's rain-wrapped now.
00:35:09There's a tornado?
00:35:10Yeah.
00:35:11Oh, there it is.
00:35:14The tornado warning.
00:35:15How far do you guys think this tornado is away from us?
00:35:1810 minutes from you.
00:35:2010 minutes?
00:35:21About 10 minutes.
00:35:22How you doing, Jordan?
00:35:23I'm good, dude, I'm ready this time.
00:35:25Ready this time?
00:35:25We're pros now.
00:35:26They're pros.
00:35:28We're spectators.
00:35:30Now I'm not as ready.
00:35:31It's going to be off over here,
00:35:32it's about 11, 10 o'clock.
00:35:34We don't have a view yet, that's where it'll be.
00:35:37We're like the only people on the road right now.
00:35:40Bro, you can't see anything on the windshield.
00:35:44Not seeing anything yet,
00:35:46but I think we're getting really close.
00:35:48Right in front of us.
00:35:49Yeah.
00:35:50All right, guys,
00:35:51I think there's a tornado right in front of us.
00:35:53Tornado right in front of us?
00:35:54Yeah, this cone.
00:35:55Yep, it's right in front of us.
00:35:57Oh, it's right there.
00:35:58Yep, you're right.
00:35:59Tornado right in front of us, guys.
00:36:00It's really hard to see with all this rain,
00:36:02but there's a tornado directly in front of us.
00:36:04Look at that.
00:36:05Directly in front of us.
00:36:06Look at the left edge.
00:36:07I'm going to point you guys
00:36:08so you guys can see it a little better.
00:36:10Yeah, I see it.
00:36:11It should get more clear here in a sec.
00:36:13Which way is it moving?
00:36:15Kind of towards us.
00:36:16Kind of towards us?
00:36:18The wind and the rain's getting stronger,
00:36:20I can tell you that much.
00:36:21There's a tornado right there.
00:36:23That looks like a big tornado.
00:36:24It's a big tornado.
00:36:25That is a huge tornado.
00:36:27Big, big tornado.
00:36:29I can't see it.
00:36:30The pros know what they're looking at,
00:36:31but I have no idea.
00:36:32So exactly where is the tornado,
00:36:34on the left side of the road or right?
00:36:36It's right on the road.
00:36:37It's right on the road.
00:36:38Okay.
00:36:39Right on the road.
00:36:40This is kind of terrifying
00:36:42because I can't really see the tornado.
00:36:44It's very, very hard to see.
00:36:45Yeah, so we have the old tornado over here
00:36:47and there may be something new forming here.
00:36:48I think there is.
00:36:50Wait, so there's another tornado?
00:36:51We're not sure yet.
00:36:52What happened to the one behind us?
00:36:53It's crossing behind us,
00:36:54but there's debris falling out of it.
00:36:55That dude's just going straight into it.
00:36:58Oh no.
00:36:59There's a lot of debris falling out of the sky.
00:37:01That dude just drove straight into it.
00:37:02I'm not even kidding.
00:37:03He's still going.
00:37:04This is one that we're just being extra careful with
00:37:06because we don't want to mess with this rain-wrapped tornado.
00:37:15All right, so we're going back to the town right now.
00:37:17That tornado back there is still sitting on the road,
00:37:20but there's another tornado
00:37:21that's trying to form right next to us.
00:37:23I don't think we really know what direction
00:37:25it's going to come.
00:37:26Yeah, that couple is broken out.
00:37:27Now this one's starting to get going.
00:37:29I think we're trying to get back to this town
00:37:30just to be a little safe.
00:37:32Good driving.
00:37:33Thanks.
00:37:35But no matter what direction we went,
00:37:36there seemed to be dangerous storms forming all around us.
00:37:39There might be something besides this right here.
00:37:42It's getting windy.
00:37:44Which way are we going?
00:37:45We might need to go back west.
00:37:47Oh, we're driving back into it.
00:37:49I know.
00:37:50Well, that way wasn't safe either.
00:37:51Oh, so we're sandwiched.
00:37:53So what are we trying to do right now?
00:37:55We're trying to be in a safe spot right now.
00:37:58Oh, the hill's getting bigger.
00:38:00Oh yeah.
00:38:02The new tornado is forming just to our south.
00:38:04It's getting dark, so we're just planning safe right now,
00:38:07but we'll probably creep in behind it
00:38:09once we see what the radar's actually doing.
00:38:11It's a little stressful sometimes.
00:38:13So the problem is, is there's a tornado right down there,
00:38:16and then there's another one forming right there
00:38:18that's about to cross this road.
00:38:20So we're sitting in the middle of the road right now.
00:38:21Yeah, both ways of the road are gonna have tornadoes.
00:38:24Yeah.
00:38:26So like, what's the plan if like,
00:38:28we do get stuck between two tornadoes
00:38:31and they come after us?
00:38:32Hopefully they scream at us
00:38:33and tell us what to do so we live.
00:38:35I think the scariest thing out here
00:38:37is the super low visibility
00:38:39because it's getting dark outside
00:38:40and it's raining so hard.
00:38:43You can't even see more than 100 feet in front of you.
00:38:46If there is a tornado, you don't know it's there.
00:38:49So what's the plan?
00:38:51We're just going east to get away from the circulation
00:38:54since it's getting dark.
00:38:55We gotta chase a little different
00:38:58than maybe if it was just Aaron and I.
00:39:00This is gonna be the best view to see a tornado,
00:39:03but it's also the most dangerous spot.
00:39:05We're just gonna play on the side of caution
00:39:07and keep going east.
00:39:08We saw a tornado, so, you know,
00:39:11the day's not a total loss.
00:39:14Now that it gets dark, we're just gonna play it safe.
00:39:18Well, we're slowly driving out of the storm.
00:39:21We're not really seeing another tornado.
00:39:23Nothing's really forming,
00:39:25but it's too dangerous for us to be close to it
00:39:28like we are right now.
00:39:29I mean, we very briefly saw a tornado.
00:39:33Wasn't anything crazy.
00:40:05It's a curvy freaking road, dude.
00:40:07How y'all doing back there?
00:40:08I'm okay.
00:40:09James is not feeling too good.
00:40:12He's getting a little road sick.
00:40:13It's not always like this, guys,
00:40:15but it's what we got to deal with at the moment.
00:40:17Confirmed large and extremely dangerous
00:40:19tornado approaching Van Buren.
00:40:21We're just outside of town.
00:40:23We're gonna try to get away from it
00:40:24and try to get away from it as quickly as we can.
00:40:27We're gonna try to get away from it
00:40:28as quickly as we can.
00:40:29We're gonna try to get away from it
00:40:30as quickly as we can.
00:40:31We're gonna try to get away from it
00:40:32as quickly as we can.
00:40:33We're just outside of town by about 15 to 20 miles.
00:40:37So we're gonna be in position for this
00:40:39in the next few minutes.
00:40:40Oh, there she blows.
00:40:49Go, go, go.
00:40:53This area is super, super hilly.
00:40:54So we might not visibly be able to see the tornado.
00:40:57This is why we're throwing up the drone right now.
00:41:04That is a terrifying storm.
00:41:05Look at this, dude.
00:41:06Oh my gosh.
00:41:07It's looking like it's still on the ground.
00:41:09We're just a little too far still.
00:41:11I think it's just a little too hazy.
00:41:13Is it coming our direction
00:41:14or is it just paralleling us on the highway?
00:41:16No, it's coming right here.
00:41:18Oh.
00:41:18We'll have to bail out of here pretty soon.
00:41:20Well, that's great.
00:41:21I don't see anything yet,
00:41:23but this tornado might be on the other side of this hill.
00:41:26And we can't really...
00:41:28If it comes over that hill,
00:41:29it's literally, it's coming straight our way.
00:41:31We're trying to move a little bit
00:41:32to get a better view of this thing if we can,
00:41:34and to also get out of its way
00:41:36because it's coming straight towards us.
00:41:38This is an absolutely neat looking storm, dude.
00:41:42It looks terrifying outside.
00:41:44I'm gonna go back inside.
00:41:45All the storm chasers are leaving.
00:41:47Oh, look, the cop's bailing out too.
00:41:49He's like, they're leaving, I'm leaving.
00:41:51That's the crazy thing about chasing tornadoes.
00:41:53There's so many people out here
00:41:54doing exactly what we're doing.
00:41:57This storm, what we're doing,
00:42:00this storm, why is it so dangerous to chase now?
00:42:03We know the portion of this storm
00:42:04that's gonna be producing a tornado when it's a supercell,
00:42:07but when it's a big line like this,
00:42:09any portion of this could have an embedded spin-off,
00:42:12and we're really far away from any of the radars.
00:42:14It's getting to be more dangerous
00:42:16since we can't really tell exactly what we're looking at
00:42:19visually when they're getting dark.
00:42:20Terrifying.
00:42:21Where I live, we never get storms like this.
00:42:23I mean, every time I look at one of these supercell storms,
00:42:26it just looks like the end of the world.
00:42:28See that cloud?
00:42:30Just look at that, dude.
00:42:31That is crazy.
00:42:32Oh, thanks, dude.
00:42:33Yeah, it might start raining a lot harder.
00:42:35Yeah, we're not even in the storm yet,
00:42:37but it's like right over there.
00:42:39Yeah, it's coming right for us.
00:42:41Can you handle that?
00:42:42We should probably get in the car.
00:42:43This massive storm is coming over us,
00:42:45so we're just gonna ride it out, boys.
00:42:47Okay.
00:42:48No tornadoes, though, but high wind.
00:42:50Look at that.
00:42:51It's literally like perfectly bright over here
00:42:54and pitch black over there.
00:42:56This is insane.
00:42:57Look at this.
00:42:58Are you kidding me?
00:43:00Okay, so what we're feeling right now is just the wave.
00:43:03Yeah.
00:43:04But not the...
00:43:04Not the break.
00:43:05Not the break.
00:43:06Yep.
00:43:07I love the people that are just driving straight into it.
00:43:10But then again, I guess we kinda did that
00:43:12the other day with the tornado.
00:43:14We literally drove straight into it.
00:43:15So I get it, I get it.
00:43:17Sometimes you gotta get home and make dinner.
00:43:18I'm just having a nice snack inside the gas station
00:43:21while it's raining really bad outside.
00:43:24With these supercells dying out, the day was a wrap.
00:43:28As you guys know,
00:43:28I've been a YouTuber for nearly 12 years,
00:43:30and this tornado trip has been
00:43:32one of the most special videos we've ever filmed.
00:43:34It was truly life-changing,
00:43:36and not just because of the tornadoes,
00:43:37but throughout this trip, I was working on a program
00:43:40that I would hope would change the lives
00:43:42of tens and thousands of creators.
00:43:44If you are ever interested at being a creator
00:43:46or a YouTuber one day and chase your dreams,
00:43:48just like I'm chasing these tornadoes,
00:43:50then head over to blueprintuniversity.com.
00:43:53There's also a link in the top of the description.
00:43:55This is a big day for this storm.
00:43:58There's high predictions of a tornado outbreak,
00:44:00which means multiple tornadoes coming from this one storm,
00:44:03and this is the baby stages of it.
00:44:06It's just developing right now.
00:44:07Looks like it's gonna rain.
00:44:10That would be right.
00:44:11They're predicting hail the size of DVDs.
00:44:14Also, they're gonna be thin, but this big.
00:44:21Dude, I'm just an average guy.
00:44:22I don't know what I'm looking for.
00:44:24I see dark clouds, I'm like,
00:44:25okay, thunderstorm, maybe possible tornado.
00:44:29That cloud might be a tornado.
00:44:30That's crazy.
00:44:31That's just a nice, fluffy, white cloud.
00:44:33That's like something I would rest my head on at night.
00:44:36This over here?
00:44:37No.
00:44:38So right now, we kind of saw during those Iowa tornadoes
00:44:41how meh the kind of storm looked,
00:44:42and that's exactly what we're seeing here.
00:44:44As these storms move east,
00:44:45they're gonna move into a very volatile atmosphere.
00:44:47We should have tornadoes on the ground here
00:44:49in the next couple hours or so.
00:44:51Sheesh.
00:44:53All right, so we're gonna hedge east.
00:44:58We were tracking this storm for the entire day,
00:45:01but after several hours, nothing was developing,
00:45:04and our hopes of finding a tornado was slimming.
00:45:07It's seven o'clock, 7.30 actually,
00:45:09and I don't even think there's been any tornadoes reported
00:45:12in the state of Oklahoma or Kansas.
00:45:14So the day's just not panning out exactly as we thought
00:45:16or as anybody thought.
00:45:18So pretty much our only shot is to go up
00:45:20So pretty much our only shot is to go up
00:45:22to the Kansas-Oklahoma border,
00:45:24where there is a supercell,
00:45:27surprisingly uneventful day
00:45:29for what looked like a large tornado outbreak.
00:45:34Y'all don't understand.
00:45:35We've been in this van, how long has it been?
00:45:3710 days?
00:45:3810 days.
00:45:3910 days.
00:45:40Every morning, we wake up, we get in the van,
00:45:42we go get breakfast,
00:45:44and then we hunt a random storm every single day,
00:45:48and we don't come back till nighttime.
00:46:00So we're here just northeast of Tulsa,
00:46:02and one of the storms off to our west
00:46:03has gone tornado-warned,
00:46:05and the sirens are sounding in town right now,
00:46:06so we're gonna go see if we can get a view of this thing.
00:46:10There's a tornado.
00:46:11The sirens are going off, dude.
00:46:13Cheap joke.
00:46:14Do you not hear that?
00:46:15Like, ah, oh, that was a bomb!
00:46:19Wait, what do you mean there's a tornado?
00:46:20Y'all are legit.
00:46:21Yeah.
00:46:22Like, there's actually a tornado.
00:46:25It's like almost midnight.
00:46:26We've been driving to our next location for tomorrow,
00:46:29and all of a sudden, this random storm popped up,
00:46:31and it's circulating like crazy.
00:46:32I hear tornado sirens going off in that town over there.
00:46:35No freaking way, dude.
00:46:36It's the middle of the night.
00:46:38You gotta be kidding me.
00:46:39It's literally coming right here.
00:46:42It's a tide for this.
00:46:44Oh, there it is!
00:46:48There it is!
00:46:49You gotta be kidding me, dude.
00:46:51I was just about to take a nap.
00:46:53Look at all of these tornado warnings on my phone.
00:46:55Look at this.
00:46:56Boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:46:59We are driving straight into this thing right now.
00:47:03How do you see a tornado at night?
00:47:05We try and see what we can see with the lightning,
00:47:07and this one's got a lot of it,
00:47:08so we'll probably be able to see pretty well.
00:47:10And then, unfortunately, if it gets going
00:47:12into a populated area like we're in right now,
00:47:14there'll be power flashes
00:47:15when the tornado starts hitting lines.
00:47:18That's the one scary thing right now
00:47:20is that we're in a very populated area.
00:47:22We're literally driving through a neighborhood right now,
00:47:24and this tornado is about to form
00:47:27right on the other side of this neighborhood.
00:47:29Have you heard any news from up there?
00:47:31So, like, 20 miles that way.
00:47:33Is what?
00:47:34There might be a tornado.
00:47:35And if there is, it's coming directly for us.
00:47:38Oy!
00:47:39I have to say, this is way more terrifying at night
00:47:41than during the day.
00:47:43A tornado at night, dude?
00:47:45This is creepy.
00:47:46This is supposed to be swirling up right in front of us,
00:47:48but we can't even see it.
00:47:50It is really trying to wrap up.
00:47:53Wow, look at that.
00:47:54Oh, wow, yeah.
00:47:55Oh, sweet.
00:47:57Yeah, this might be a problem for this town.
00:47:59Basically, we're trying to get out of this town
00:48:01because if there is a tornado,
00:48:02it's gonna hit this town where we are right now.
00:48:04We're gonna try to get to the interstate,
00:48:06so if we need to get out of here, we have an exit route.
00:48:10Very, very strong rotation.
00:48:12We're working to start west.
00:48:15That's not good.
00:48:17Power flash.
00:48:18Really?
00:48:18Yeah.
00:48:19What does a power flash mean?
00:48:20It means transformers are exploding,
00:48:22power lines are going down.
00:48:22Oh, I like tornadoes,
00:48:24but I don't really want it to hit this town.
00:48:26I'm kind of crazy for a minute, guys,
00:48:27but it's just because I gotta get us out of this town.
00:48:29You drive however you want, dude.
00:48:30I don't care.
00:48:32You just do your thing.
00:48:32Come on.
00:48:33Oh, yeah, that one was a good one right there.
00:48:36We don't know if we really want a good view of this tornado
00:48:40because it's literally gonna be right on top of us.
00:48:42There was a bunch of power flashes back there,
00:48:44so I think there's a tornado right behind us.
00:48:47Confirmed tornado.
00:48:48Confirmed?
00:48:49Confirmed dangerous tornado on the ground.
00:48:51This is too much.
00:48:52I just wanted to take a nap.
00:48:58We gotta figure out what this thing is doing.
00:49:01I'm just gonna stop here for a second.
00:49:03It like started going more northeast that last.
00:49:10Power out?
00:49:11Yeah, power just went out.
00:49:12All right, we need to go on the interstate
00:49:15and maybe go south.
00:49:17South or north?
00:49:18There's a tornado right there.
00:49:20Oh, my God.
00:49:21Tornado.
00:49:22Dude, we might need to go.
00:49:22Yeah, we need to go.
00:49:23Let me know.
00:49:24Turn around and let's...
00:49:26We're not in a good spot right here.
00:49:28If anything, I can go northeast on the highway.
00:49:29All right, go northeast on the highway.
00:49:30We're a little bit away from where the tornado right now.
00:49:35Holy...
00:49:38Y'all see it?
00:49:39I think it's right over here.
00:49:41Right there, beside us.
00:49:42I got it, yep.
00:49:43Drive.
00:49:44It's right next to us?
00:49:45Right beside us.
00:49:45Holy crap.
00:49:47Oh, my God.
00:49:51Can you see it on camera?
00:49:52I can see it in person.
00:49:54Go, go, go, go, Aaron, go, go, go.
00:49:56I'm going as fast as I can, big cone.
00:49:59Holy crap.
00:50:00You've gotta be kidding me.
00:50:03Oh, my.
00:50:05It's literally right beside us.
00:50:06It's behind us?
00:50:07About seven o'clock.
00:50:08Do we wanna stop for a sec?
00:50:10Do we wanna stop?
00:50:11I don't know.
00:50:12All right, stop for a sec.
00:50:13Nobody get out.
00:50:14Nobody get out.
00:50:19Okay, I vote we keep driving.
00:50:22I think we gotta move, Max.
00:50:24What's that?
00:50:26We gotta go.
00:50:27Hold on, I can see it.
00:50:30All right.
00:50:30Oh, crap.
00:50:33Really, guys, that gas station might've gotten hit
00:50:35that we were just at.
00:50:36The gas station that we were just at?
00:50:37Literally, that kink right there is debris.
00:50:40That's debris being lofted into the air.
00:50:43I think we're safe.
00:50:44You think?
00:50:45It's close.
00:50:47I'm gonna see if I can get a view,
00:50:48and then we should probably keep going just to be safe.
00:50:50I don't like the nighttime stuff.
00:50:52I can't see it, dude.
00:50:53I don't know where it is.
00:50:54It's literally right behind us.
00:50:57I think I see it right above.
00:50:58Yeah, it is.
00:50:59Big tornado.
00:50:59Yes.
00:51:01Oh, my God, it's a huge wedge.
00:51:02Yeah, it's right behind us.
00:51:04It's down, 100% down.
00:51:07So is it still going next to us, or is it behind us?
00:51:09It's behind us, paralleling the highway.
00:51:11It's a big tornado.
00:51:13Oh, there it is.
00:51:14Go, go, go.
00:51:14Go, go, go.
00:51:16Where is it, next to us?
00:51:17Yes, right out here.
00:51:19Oh, my, how did it get over there?
00:51:20I thought it was behind us.
00:51:21It crossed the highway.
00:51:22Oh, what?
00:51:24This is intense.
00:51:27I'm scared.
00:51:30Right now, I think it's best to just stay on this.
00:51:32We're pretty trusting.
00:51:34We've got room, and it's moving more east.
00:51:35All right, I trust you.
00:51:37Oh, my God, dude.
00:51:38This tornado is literally right next to us.
00:51:39We're driving into the core of the storm right now.
00:51:43The tornado's over there,
00:51:43but the core of all the storm and the rain
00:51:46is right in front of us,
00:51:47and we have to drive through it
00:51:48to get away from this tornado.
00:51:49It's about to rain really hard.
00:51:51Just like that.
00:51:52That's how fast these things can happen, man.
00:51:55Nathan was about to lay down for a nap.
00:51:57We're getting gas at a gas station.
00:51:58We're going to wait for the next day,
00:51:59and bam, huge tornado.
00:52:01Did you guys hear that kind of waterfall sound?
00:52:02The like, shh.
00:52:04That was the tornado.
00:52:06We're heading back to the town right now.
00:52:07The tornado's 10 miles away from us,
00:52:09so we're going to go see if there's anything
00:52:12we can help with.
00:52:13It seems to be pretty serious,
00:52:15but we're not really sure yet.
00:52:18Some stuff knocked over,
00:52:19but it looks like it missed the bulk of the tornado.
00:52:22Was the sign knocked over?
00:52:23No.
00:52:24That sign was not like the...
00:52:26Gas station is okay.
00:52:27I was worried about that
00:52:28because there's a lot of people working in there.
00:52:30Yeah, this is the road we came down.
00:52:32We literally drove down this road,
00:52:34and there's tons of trees just knocked over.
00:52:37Those houses are okay.
00:52:40There's so many trees just knocked over.
00:52:42Look at this.
00:52:43This whole road is covered in trees.
00:52:46That's insane.
00:52:48Wow.
00:52:49Oh, yeah.
00:52:51That used to be a street.
00:52:54That's crazy.
00:52:56Oh, wow.
00:52:57Look at that ground just completely ripped up.
00:53:01Oh, wow, that whole building is like ripped apart.
00:53:08This is all insulation from the roof.
00:53:11This is literally the roof of a house.
00:53:14Probably from this building right next to us.
00:53:16That's crazy.
00:53:19Oh, wow.
00:53:21This building is completely ripped apart.
00:53:23Tornadoes are nature's most violent storms,
00:53:26and their power is both awe-inspiring
00:53:29and terrifying at the same time.
00:53:32The sheer force of these storms
00:53:33leaves a path of destruction
00:53:35that can stretch for miles,
00:53:37completely destroying everything in its path.
00:53:42We must be getting close to seeing a tornado
00:53:44because there is destruction everywhere.
00:53:47A few weeks ago, there was an EF3 tornado,
00:53:49part of a really big regional outbreak
00:53:50that came right through here.
00:53:52So we're on the east side of Lincoln, Nebraska,
00:53:54and this is one of the worst-hit sides of town.
00:53:59Wow, that's insane.
00:54:00Look at that.
00:54:03That thing got absolutely obliterated.
00:54:07This was tornado number one of, like, 13.
00:54:10That's crazy.
00:54:12That's all debris from the warehouse.
00:54:14And we're about to go hunt another one.
00:54:16Look at that car next to the tree.
00:54:18It literally got thrown all the way up there
00:54:20out of the parking lot.
00:54:21Ultimately, they got really lucky that,
00:54:23I mean, this is the far east side of town.
00:54:25It's an industrial portion of town.
00:54:28If it had been even just a few miles further
00:54:30back to the west or had dropped a few miles further south,
00:54:33it would have gone right through neighborhoods.
00:54:34So, although it's unfortunate that it did this much damage,
00:54:37they actually got pretty lucky.
00:54:40Yeah.
00:54:42We're pulling into another town
00:54:43that got hit by a different tornado,
00:54:46but on the same day as the last town.
00:54:49Well, they'll have, you know,
00:54:51some stuff rebuilt by next year,
00:54:52but some stuff, it'll take years.
00:54:56Yeah, so it came up from that direction
00:54:58and then hit the east side of town
00:54:59and kept going that way for a really long time.
00:55:02It was a long-track tornado.
00:55:04It was rated EF3, but it was likely stronger.
00:55:07This is the EF scale.
00:55:09You can see the EF3 and above causes a lot of damage,
00:55:12making those tornadoes very dangerous.
00:55:15Seeing the destruction this close is a scary reminder
00:55:18of how powerful mother nature really is.
00:55:22Oh my gosh, some of these houses got completely leveled.
00:55:27That's crazy.
00:55:30Look at that RV.
00:55:32All of these used to be houses.
00:55:34There's nothing here.
00:55:34It's literally, there's not anything left.
00:55:37That was a house.
00:55:39That was a house.
00:55:40It's been almost a month
00:55:41and they still got people working out every single day,
00:55:43clearing debris and doing stuff like that.
00:55:45That was a house right there.
00:55:48Right now, we are traveling
00:55:49through what is known as Tornado Alley.
00:55:52This area sees some of the most intense tornado activity
00:55:55due to the collision of warm, moist air
00:55:57from the Gulf of Mexico
00:55:59and cool, dry air from Canada and the Rocky Mountains.
00:56:04We are recording live off only a couple hours of sleep.
00:56:07We are, hey, where the heck are we?
00:56:12Avoca, we're currently in Avoca.
00:56:16And there's a massive storm coming straight to us,
00:56:19right where we're standing.
00:56:21We're just waiting for it.
00:56:22As it moves closer and closer to us,
00:56:24it's gonna get more and more intense.
00:56:26So once it hits this area,
00:56:28there's high, high likelihood of not just one tornado,
00:56:33so we'll go eat my sandwich.
00:56:37So today's probably the biggest day of the trip so far.
00:56:40The Storm Prediction Center has a 15% hatched area.
00:56:43That means we're probably gonna see a severe weather,
00:56:45potentially tornado outbreak.
00:56:47This could be a day, too,
00:56:48where we get on multiple storms producing tornadoes.
00:56:51So we're gonna approach a little bit differently
00:56:53where we're gonna be sitting upstream,
00:56:55wait for a tornado warning
00:56:56and a confirmed tornado to be issued,
00:56:58and then pounce on it
00:56:59because they're gonna be moving
00:56:59about 40 to 50 miles an hour today.
00:57:02Wouldn't be surprised to see a few strong tornadoes,
00:57:05so EF2+.
00:57:07And we saw what that can do back there in Minden, so.
00:57:09Yeah.
00:57:10Y'all ready?
00:57:11Yeah.
00:57:13If everybody could just take Gabe's enthusiasm
00:57:15and implant it into themselves.
00:57:18Massive tornado in the background.
00:57:19Gabe just goes, yeah.
00:57:21Yeah.
00:57:30It looks like we're getting super close
00:57:32and there might be a tornado forming
00:57:34right over this next hill.
00:57:36We're about 25 miles from it sitting directly upstream,
00:57:39so we're in a good position.
00:57:41We just don't wanna dive in too early
00:57:43and miss the real big tornado of the day,
00:57:46which may not be this first one.
00:57:48I think we've been in this car for like 48 hours.
00:57:52Dang, dude.
00:57:53I should've brought my umbrella.
00:57:54I'm wearing the same clothes I wore yesterday.
00:57:57I haven't changed.
00:57:57I haven't showered.
00:57:59I slept here last night.
00:58:00I'm here to see a noodle.
00:58:02You wanna have a water balloon fight?
00:58:03Could be your shower.
00:58:04Oh, I didn't even think about that.
00:58:06Bring shampoo and a bar of soap.
00:58:07We could shower outside.
00:58:09I bet the water pressure's pretty good.
00:58:10Dude, imagine it starts hailing.
00:58:12Really gets your skin clean.
00:58:14Yeah, exfoliate that boy.
00:58:16That's the word.
00:58:18Multiple tornado reports now.
00:58:20Is it?
00:58:21Yeah.
00:58:23Stovepipe tornado.
00:58:26Game time.
00:58:27We're going into the storm right now.
00:58:28There is a tornado on the ground right now,
00:58:31but it's about 10, 15 miles away from us.
00:58:34So by the time we get there, it might be gone,
00:58:36but these storms are so big and so powerful
00:58:38that they produce many different tornadoes, not just one.
00:58:43I mean, it's still got an established circulation.
00:58:45I just wonder if it is gonna be
00:58:47that southern one as the main one.
00:58:51Are we diving south?
00:58:52Yeah, we think this southernmost one
00:58:54is gonna be the more prolific storm.
00:58:56Sometimes you gotta miss the early tornado
00:58:59to get the big one later.
00:59:00Quote that.
00:59:02Sometimes you gotta miss the early tornado
00:59:05to get the big one later.
00:59:07End quote.
00:59:21Tornado warning.
00:59:22Tornado warning.
00:59:23You know how it be.
00:59:26Gonna slurp up that noodle.
00:59:29It's gonna slurp you, my guy.
00:59:32I'll slurp it right back.
00:59:33Now this thing is about ready
00:59:35to produce a really big tornado, it seems.
00:59:37Rotating wall cloud reported.
00:59:39We're gonna have a view here in probably about 10 minutes.
00:59:42About to see a dangerous noodle.
00:59:45It's gonna slurp you, my guy.
00:59:47About to see a dangerous noodle, brother.
00:59:51We will see.
00:59:52I hope so.
00:59:53The weather gods in front of us
00:59:54have said there is a rotating wall cloud.
00:59:57In 10 minutes?
00:59:58With a lot of moisture attached to it.
01:00:01I got enough time.
01:00:04I like my rotating wall clouds with moisture.
01:00:12So they're probably expecting this
01:00:13to be a long track tornado
01:00:15because they've extended the warning
01:00:17well out like 40 miles ahead of the circulation.
01:00:19So they're expecting this to be on the ground
01:00:21for a long time.
01:00:22I could just start to see off on the horizon
01:00:25the base of the storm,
01:00:26which means we're probably gonna have a view here very soon.
01:00:28I'm very confident this is about to produce a large tornado.
01:00:35Okay, I can start to see storm features.
01:00:38Here we go.
01:00:40There's a vortex.
01:00:41Might have our first view of it at the top of this hill.
01:00:44Another one.
01:00:45I can see where it is.
01:00:46I can't exactly see it.
01:00:50Oh, big tornado, big tornado.
01:00:51Yeah, big one.
01:00:53Big cone, just to the right of the road.
01:00:57Oh, I see it.
01:00:57It's 100%.
01:00:58Oh, I see it.
01:00:59I'll let you guys see it a little better.
01:01:00No.
01:01:01Hold on, we're about to see it.
01:01:02Right over there.
01:01:03Oh, huge, huge tornado.
01:01:05Big one.
01:01:06That's a big, strong tornado.
01:01:07Oh my.
01:01:08There it is.
01:01:09Right there.
01:01:10Big tornado.
01:01:11Right there.
01:01:13Right to the right.
01:01:15All right, yeah, let's stop.
01:01:16All right, stay very close to the vans.
01:01:18Look, coming up.
01:01:23Oh, wow.
01:01:25Listen to the sky right now.
01:01:28It's so ominous.
01:01:30Whoa.
01:01:31It's coming down, dude.
01:01:31That might be hail.
01:01:32That might be just a tiny bit of hail.
01:01:34That is a strong tornado.
01:01:36Ooh.
01:01:37That's hail.
01:01:38That's hail.
01:01:39That was a big piece, boy.
01:01:41So which way is it going right now?
01:01:43Right towards us.
01:01:44Oh.
01:01:44Literally right up this road right here.
01:01:46There it goes, all the way down.
01:01:48There it goes.
01:01:48Holy crap.
01:01:50It took us two years, but we finally got one.
01:01:54Oh, it's broken.
01:01:56Oh.
01:01:57All right, everybody back in.
01:01:58In the thing.
01:01:59We gotta be careful though,
01:02:00because it's moving more north.
01:02:01Very strong tornado.
01:02:03Oh my gosh, look at that.
01:02:05Look at that.
01:02:09That's insane.
01:02:10Yeah, pause right here for a second,
01:02:11in case we have to flip around.
01:02:13Take a shot.
01:02:15Stay very close to the van.
01:02:16It seems pretty close to me.
01:02:18Oh.
01:02:22Wow.
01:02:23Look at that.
01:02:25Look at that.
01:02:26It's right there.
01:02:28Yo, it's starting to make more of a formation too.
01:02:31All right, get back in.
01:02:32In, in, in.
01:02:33All right, we're gonna get into the crossing
01:02:34right in front of us.
01:02:37Ooh.
01:02:37That is a monster.
01:02:39Look at that.
01:02:41Look at the debris.
01:02:47Oh.
01:02:48Oh.
01:02:52It's gonna move right in front of us.
01:02:54Holy crap.
01:02:57Oh.
01:03:02Look at that.
01:03:03Wow.
01:03:07That is a violent tornado.
01:03:10This feels wrong to be this close.
01:03:13What a monster.
01:03:34That was incredible.
01:03:36We're in the monsoon now,
01:03:37so it's hard to see anything.
01:03:39Look at all the trees just broken, ripped in half.
01:03:42Almost to a main road.
01:03:43Fly down this road and we can get another intercept
01:03:45on the North Highway.
01:03:46Look at the power lines are knocked down.
01:03:48Trees are ripped.
01:03:50So is it moving away from us right now?
01:03:52Yes.
01:03:53All right, careful here.
01:03:53There's line in the road, line in the road,
01:03:55line in the road.
01:03:55We just drove over a power line.
01:03:57No, we didn't, we're good.
01:04:00We got two miles.
01:04:01It should be a very obvious intersection.
01:04:03Is the next road pavement?
01:04:04Yes.
01:04:05Woo!
01:04:06That was-
01:04:07Let's go!
01:04:08You guys were literally less than a hundred yards away
01:04:11from a strong to violent tornado.
01:04:12Okay, that's nice.
01:04:14Oh my word, it's racing, dude.
01:04:16What the heck?
01:04:17Oh, what just happened?
01:04:19That was insane!
01:04:20Oh my God!
01:04:24My God!
01:04:26Dude, look at my video shot of it.
01:04:28That doesn't even look real.
01:04:30That doesn't even look real.
01:04:33Is it still moving away from us?
01:04:34Yep.
01:04:35Go ahead and stop right here.
01:04:36This is sus.
01:04:38This is a little scary right here.
01:04:40We're okay, guys.
01:04:42It's crossing the road right in front of us.
01:04:44Power bus.
01:04:46Wow.
01:04:48It is still going.
01:04:54Oh my God!
01:04:57All right, this might be our last time looking at it.
01:04:58There's tons of power lines down in front of us,
01:05:00so we can't make it down this road anymore.
01:05:02That's insane, look at that.
01:05:04Yeah, hop out, hop out, hop out.
01:05:05This is our last time looking at it.
01:05:07Go, go, go.
01:05:12I can see it twisting.
01:05:16The rotation on that thing is insane.
01:05:19I want to take a selfie with it.
01:05:21Oh dude, did you see the power lines in front of us?
01:05:23This is the last time we're looking at this tornado
01:05:25because we can't go straight this way.
01:05:27That's a tornado.
01:05:29My first ever noodle.
01:05:33I just, I don't even know what to say right now.
01:05:34I'm like excited, I'm scared.
01:05:36Look at the power lines down at the end of this road.
01:05:38See, we're limited.
01:05:39We can't go down this road.
01:05:41Oh my God.
01:05:46Like earlier this year,
01:05:47we had one of the best tornado intercepts of our lives
01:05:49and this compares to it, 100%.
01:05:51Look at it, it's getting thinner and thinner.
01:05:53The tornado is slowly fading away.
01:05:55Oh wow.
01:05:59That's insane.
01:06:00Dude, we did it.
01:06:01Let's go.
01:06:02That's my first ever tornado I've ever seen.
01:06:05Just blows my mind.
01:06:07Look at that rope on it.
01:06:08When the tornado is getting skinnier and skinnier,
01:06:09does that mean it's getting weaker or what is it doing?
01:06:11Not necessarily.
01:06:12It means it's probably on its way out.
01:06:14Oh, it's moving up.
01:06:14It's moving up right now.
01:06:15Oh, there it goes.
01:06:16There we go.
01:06:17Look at it.
01:06:18And there it goes.
01:06:19Wow.
01:06:20That was an intercept right there.
01:06:23Oh my God.
01:06:31That was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity
01:06:34and I'm glad I was able to experience
01:06:36this with all of you guys.
01:06:37So be sure to subscribe so we can continue
