00:00We begin with RFK Jr. who ripped into Democrats and the media when he joined
00:04Donald Trump at his Arizona rally last night.

00:12Good evening, John. Bobby Kennedy Jr. said if this system was honest, he would have been
00:17elected president and won the election. He says this is not his father's nor his
00:22uncle's Democratic Party and listed the reasons why.
00:25It had departed so dramatically from the core values that I grew up with.
00:32It had become the party of war, censorship, corruption, big pharma, big tech, big ag,
00:42and big money. When it abandoned democracy by canceling the primary to conceal
00:49the cognitive decline of the sitting president, I left the party.
00:55Vice President Harris accepting her party's nomination for president, the DNC.
01:00She has been reluctant to interact with the press, avoiding unscripted encounters.
01:04She has pledged to do a sit down interview before the end of the month, which is fast approaching.
01:09Her campaign says she's raised over half a billion dollars since President Biden
01:13dropped out of the race or was pushed aside, depending on your point of view.
01:17Here was Harris talking about national security in Chicago.
01:21As vice president, I have confronted threats to our security, negotiated with foreign leaders,
01:29strengthened our alliances and engaged with our brave troops overseas as commander in chief.
01:38I will ensure America always has the strongest, most lethal fighting force in the world.
01:46And here's Donald Trump alongside RFK Jr. last night in Arizona.
01:51With all of those votes he was getting, here's a lot of votes that he could have gotten.
01:55I think he's going to have a huge influence. We're leading now,
01:58but I think he's going to have a huge influence on this campaign.
02:02And with news that two NASA astronauts are stuck in space until after the inauguration,
02:08that would be February of 2025. John, a reminder, who chairs the National Space
02:12Council here at the White House? Kamala Harris, John.

02:22The Democratic Party, in the name of saving democracy,
02:28the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it, lacking confidence in its candidate.
02:34That its candidate could win in a fair election at the voting booth.
02:41For more on RFK Jr.'s decision to suspend his presidential campaign, let's bring in David Avella,
02:47the GOPAC chairman. So give us your analysis of this decision and what it means. I mean,
02:53why does a guy whose name is long associated with the Democratic Party, why does he
02:59does a guy whose name is long associated with the Democratic Party, why does he
03:04sort of jump ship and endorse the former president?
03:09John, RFK Jr.'s campaign was over about 12 days ago when a court in New York said he couldn't be
03:16on the ballot because he lacked residency. It underscored how the Democratic elites
03:22first set up the rules to make sure no one could get the nomination other than President Biden.
03:28Now, they are determined to make sure that RFK Jr. couldn't get on enough ballots
03:34to be able to get the 270 votes that you have to have to be president.
03:38It's the ultimate sign of weakness, and it could be an underscoring of the fact of how
03:44weak Vice President Harris is and that she may have already peaked in this election.
03:51Because keep in mind, you have a state like Wisconsin, where in 2016 and in 2020,
03:57it was decided by one percentage point. You take a candidate like RFK, and maybe he doesn't have
04:02one percent that goes towards Trump, but maybe Trump picks up another 2,000 votes or 3,000 votes.
04:09In an election in Wisconsin that's going to get decided by 25,000 votes, all little things
04:15matter. And RFK getting out may seem like a little thing, but it could prove quite decisive
04:22in the swing states. He's been criticized even by members of his own family for the decision
04:27that he's made. Essentially, I guess you could say he's leaving the Democratic Party, but
04:32the Democratic Party that exists today is not the Democrat Party that elected his father,
04:41well, his uncle and his father. It's somewhat funny, though, John,
04:49given that it was RFK Jr.'s dad who ran against and helped push out Lyndon Johnson in 1964.
04:58It was his uncle, Teddy Kennedy, who ran against Jimmy Carter and ultimately helped
05:05lead to that defeat in 1980. The Democratic Party has always had to deal with a Kennedy
05:12who wanted to go against the establishment. RFK Jr. is just the latest. But now we're at a point,
05:19John, where it's exactly where Republicans need it to be, because we get to make the case that,
05:24do you want the American dream? As Donald Trump talks about free market capitalism,
05:30and he talks about bringing regulations down, and he talks about fair trade deals and a secure
05:36border, you contrast that with the American nightmare that ultimately Vice President Harris
05:42would bring to us. It's that they're going to tell you what car you can drive. They're going
05:47to make your taxes go up. They're going to put government in more control of kids' schools than
05:52what parents will have. In example after example, look at her policies, and we're heading towards
05:59an American nightmare if Vice President Harris ascends to the presidency and continues the
06:05Bidenomics and the bad policies that has her and the president at 36 percent approval rating.
06:13Yeah, we'll get into her econ policies a little bit later on in this hour. But RFK Jr.,
06:20you know, he has been complaining a lot about the media,
06:24and media coverage generally of Kamala Harris has been pretty fawning, wouldn't you say?
06:31She's had a good bump as a result of the coverage that has been given to her, not unlike when many
06:39candidates first get into a race. The key though is to make sure the media holds her accountable
06:44for her policy positions, and we just talked about a few right there where she's got to explain to
06:50American people what exactly does price controls mean. What exactly will she do to help bring
06:57inflation down, which is now at 20 percent? Does she think it's a good idea that the Fed's talking
07:03about cutting rates? I mean, go into policy after policy. What is she going to do to make lives
07:10Americans safer, easier, and better? And the reality is she doesn't have one that's going to
07:16make things better. The quote from RFK Jr. was, who needs a policy, referring to policy speeches
07:23that she's outlined, who needs a policy when you've got Trump to hate? And that does seem to be
07:28a driving force. That is a core part of their message, but you think about for Americans who
07:36are trying to get a better health care, and as the vice president and the president have allowed
07:41millions to come in across the border and get immediate access to health care systems,
07:48it only makes those who are paying the bill for health care to have to wait in line longer. It
07:53only means they're going to have to pay more in taxes. And to RFK's point, it was his uncle who
08:00said that cutting taxes rises all boats, that we have a bigger economy if, in fact, we cut taxes.
08:08And as RFK pointed out, the Democratic Party is no longer a party that believes that. In fact,
08:15we'll have some Americans paying well over 60 percent of what they earn to the government
08:20if the vice president gets the plan that Joe Biden proposed and she is supporting.

08:47Eastern here on Fox News Channel. As many as five Secret Service agents are being reassigned
08:55to administrative duties more than a month after the assassination attempt on former President
09:00Trump. The decision comes as the Secret Service faces mounting criticism and conducts its own
09:05investigation in addition to the FBI's probe. CB Cotton is live with the latest on that. CB.
09:12Hi, John. A source tells Fox there may be more Secret Service agents who've been placed on
09:16leave. But for now, we know that at least five agents who were involved in the rally security
09:21preparations are now working from home. There's no word on what the ultimate fate of their
09:26employment will be. But various lawmakers have called on the Secret Service to fire people.
09:32It's very clear what happened here. We know the players that were responsible.
09:36And this should be resolved within 90 days. No more. But, yes, somebody needs to be held
09:43accountable. And if nobody is fired over this, the American people are going to lose
09:47even more confidence in the agency. As of Monday, one member of Trump's personal
09:52protective team and four members of the Secret Service's Pittsburgh field office,
09:57including the special agent in charge, were all placed on administrative duty.
10:02Word of this personnel shakeup comes nearly six weeks after the assassination attempt
10:08and follows the July resignation of then Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheadle.
10:13Cheadle stepped down after her testimony before the House Oversight Committee,
10:17where she faced bipartisan questions about how a roof with a clear vantage point of about
10:24150 yards away to the rally stage was left unsecured. Trump is now making a campaign
10:30promise that if he's reelected, he'll get answers on the assassination attempt he survived,
10:37but also the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
10:41They will be tasked with releasing all of the remaining documents pertaining to
10:47the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
10:51And they will also conduct a rigorous review of the attack last month.
10:58On Monday, 10 members of the bipartisan congressional task force investigating
11:03the shooting will visit the rally site and meet with local officials.
11:06John.
11:07I know there was a lot of finger pointing going on between local law enforcement and
11:11the Secret Service immediately after the assassination attempt. So how is local
11:16law enforcement reacting to the news about these agents, CB?
11:21I think they're breathing a sigh of relief. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting,
11:25you had local law enforcement leaders speaking out to say their officers were simply following
11:31the direction of the Secret Service during that July 13th rally. And while
11:36they certainly don't want the finger pointing to continue, there is an acknowledgement
11:40that it appears like the Secret Service is finally being introspective. And so I think
11:46local law enforcement officials I'm speaking with at least appreciate that, John.

11:54So President Biden is laying low after passing the torch to his vice president
11:59at the DNC in Chicago. He's vacationing now with his family in California.
12:05Some of the locals, though, aren't too happy about it.
12:07Matt, Matt Finn is live in Santa Ynez, California. With more on that, Matt.
12:14John, I'm standing not far away from where the president is vacationing right now here
12:19is vacationing right now here in beautiful Southern California. The president has been
12:24staying at the lavish estate of donor Joe Kiani. Now, today, there was also a pro-Trump rally here.
12:32Hundreds of people attended, and we talked to some of them about why they came to the anti-Biden
12:38event. Support Trump and tell Biden and his wife and his son, stay away.
12:45And we don't want Democrat policies brought into this valley that has ranchers and farmers
12:51and hardworking blue collar people who have been so hurt by his policies.
12:58The pro-Trump caravan also drove past the street where President Biden is staying.
13:03They said their goal was to honk their horns. So hopefully the president could hear them.
13:08The president has been laying low since arriving to Southern California early Tuesday morning.
13:13The president, first lady Hunter Biden and family jetted here right after the DNC.
13:18Now, the first lady has been seen around town a few times. Our camera captured Dr. Biden
13:23walking around the town of Los Olivos. Hunter Biden was with her, but ducked out of our camera's
13:28view. I talked to some Biden supporters here in the Santa Ynez area. His infrastructure plan
13:36was great. He's a decent human being. I think he did a great job. What he did with
13:45just passing by to Kamala, I think is very good. I think it's very good for the country.
13:54Now, I asked the first lady what the president has been up to the past couple of days here.
13:58She did not respond. The White House has announced that as the president is vacationing,
14:03he did hold a call with the leading emir of Qatar about a ceasefire in Gaza. Also,
14:07the U.S. military says it carried out a strike, killing an al-Qaeda leader in Syria.

14:20Vice President Kamala Harris is promising to tackle inflation with her new economic roadmap.
14:26It includes a controversial price fix on groceries that would be the first of its
14:31kind in the United States. That's on top of expanding the child tax credit and offering
14:36cash assistance to first-time homebuyers. Her opponent, former President Donald Trump,
14:42labels this the Maduro plan after Venezuela's socialist president. Let's bring in Steve Moore,
14:48Economist and Heritage Foundation visiting fellow. To call it the Maduro plan, is that
14:55is that in excess or is that a fair comparison, Steve?
15:00Well, that is what socialist countries do, John, is that they impose controls over the economy,
15:07including price controls. And that has never worked. I'll bet you could talk to 10 economists
15:14and I think nine of them would agree that price controls are kind of a dingbat idea.
15:18We tried this, by the way, as you may recall, John, in the 1970s when Nixon,
15:22Ford and Carter were president. And all it caused was shortages, gas lines. I remember when
15:28I was a kid and we used to pack into the, you know, the Ford and have to wait in line for 15
15:36cars so we could get our gas filled up because of price controls. So I think that issue has really
15:41panned. The other thing that came out this week that was kind of overshadowed by the Democratic
15:46National Committee convention was her tax plan, which would raise taxes over the next 10 years.
15:56John, are you ready for this? By five trillion dollars, it is the biggest tax increase in not
16:02just in the United States history, it's the biggest tax increase in world history. And I
16:06think we're going to have to look at the details of that as well. One thought I had when she in
16:12her economic plan, she laid it out and she said housing prices are too high. Well, if you let 10
16:18or 12 million people just kind of walk into the country, what does that do to housing prices, Steve?
16:25Right. And here's the other thing that happened that she refuses to talk about.
16:29The major reason that people are having a hard time buying a home right now or finding a home
16:34to rent is because the mortgage rates have doubled. You know, when Trump left office,
16:39we had 3 percent mortgage rates. I think a lot of viewers will remember that. And now the mortgage
16:45rates, depending on where you live, are six and a half to seven percent. So I did the numbers,
16:50John. That means that if you for a young person who wants to buy a new home, let's say a new
16:55young couple with one or two kids, their mortgage payments over 30 years are going to be twice as
17:01high as they were when Trump was president. So in other words, what caused this housing crisis,
17:06in my opinion, was the massive Biden and Harris spending spree, which led to massive inflation
17:13and much higher interest rates. By giving people twenty five thousand dollars to buy their first
17:22homes. Now, first of all, where does that money come from? And secondly, what's the effect on the
17:28housing market? Well, the first question is the key one, John, where is all this money going to
17:33come from? I mean, are we just going to get why not just buy houses for people if we're going to
17:37do this? I mean, it'd be a wonderful world if we could just pass out money to everybody who wants
17:42everything. We are I think the biggest crisis today in America, other than the border, is our
17:47out of control budget. Harris and Biden came in and they added five trillion dollars to our debt.
17:54The plan is under their plan to raise another eight to trillion dollars of debt. That is a road to
18:02ruin for the country. Look, I think we've got to get the growth rate up. You're not going to deal
18:06with this debt crisis by just raising taxes on rich people. I mean, John, you could take every
18:12penny from Warren Buffett and Bill Gates and all of the richest people in America and it still
18:18wouldn't balance the budget. You've got to do something about cutting spending. And I've looked
18:23through her plan, John. I've looked through the whole thing to the extent that she's put out a
18:27plan. There are no spending cuts. There's no ideas of things we could save money on to bring
18:33down this massive debt. We're going to have to have you back to talk about this some more because
18:36there's a lot of material to go over there. They're still more. John, you started the show
18:41by talking about lost in space. Those two astronauts. I look at this economic program.

18:52Coming up on The Fox Report, NASA makes a major announcement about the fate of those two
18:56astronauts who, OK, they're not lost in space, but they're stranded aboard the International
19:01Space Station. Christina Coleman with that story. John, yeah, Steve Moore was on to something. It
19:06was decision day for NASA. The agency's leaders announced how they plan to move forward with a
19:11troubled Boeing Starliner spacecraft and the two astronauts stuck in space. We'll have the details
19:15coming up. NASA officials are calling on Elon Musk's SpaceX to bring home Sonny Williams and
19:22Butch Wilmore. Those two astronauts arrived at the International Space Station June 6th.
19:27A mission was expected to last eight days. NASA announced today the astronauts are in for a long
19:33wait. Christina Coleman has the latest on this. Christina. That's right, John. Long indeed. Today,
19:39NASA leaders announced astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sonny Williams will not return to Earth
19:44on the Boeing Starliner spacecraft that carried them to the International Space Station.
19:48Instead, they will remain in space until next February and come home on a SpaceX Dragon
19:54spacecraft. The big decision comes after Boeing Starliner had several helium leaks and thruster
20:00issues. For me, one of the really important factors is that we just don't know how much
20:08we can use the thrusters on the way back home before we encounter a problem because of the
20:15heating effects that happened on the way uphill. I talked with Butch and Sonny
20:20both yesterday and today. They support the agency's decision fully and they're ready
20:24to continue this mission on board ISS as members of the Expedition 71 crew.
20:31NASA leaders say they made today's decision based on their commitment to safety. They say Butch and
20:35Sonny will remain at the International Space Station and complete research and cargo work.
20:40They may also do a couple of spacewalks toward the end of their extended expedition.
20:46We have had a number of flights with astronauts who've stayed on board with us
20:50for 12 months at a time. So this eight month stays very much within our normal
20:55operational experience space. While Butch and Sonny are on board.
21:01Now NASA is planning for Boeing Starliner spacecraft to return to Earth next month
21:06without a crew following its technical issues. Boeing's going to come back and do some
21:11redesigns and fix these things. NASA is committed to having two types of space
21:16vehicles to go up in space. So I don't think they're going to come back and punish Boeing
21:21and say we're going to cancel you. I think they're going to work together to fix the problem.
21:27Now this is Boeing's first crewed mission for NASA under a multi-billion dollar contract.
21:32They have at least five other crewed missions planned. John.
21:36I would imagine Christina they're going to have another crew with them when they return to pilot
21:42that that Dragon spacecraft because they've trained on the Boeing right. That's right.
21:48They're going to return back with another crew and that's how they plan to to make it back to
21:53Earth safely. And from my understanding those two astronauts they are expected to be OK up there.
22:00Again their operational manager says that some of these astronauts they stay up in
22:05space for a year so they are expected to be fine and return to Earth with other astronauts. John.

22:18Now to the quest for peace in the Middle East. Hamas says its negotiators arrived in Cairo
22:23earlier today for the latest round of ceasefire and hostage talks surrounding the war in Gaza.
22:29Alex Hogan is on that story for us. Alex.
22:32Good evening John. Hamas says that today negotiators are in Cairo Egypt as these talks continue. We know
22:38that Egypt and Qatar have had representatives speaking with Hamas as the U.S. tries to put
22:43more pressure on Israel to strike this deal. President Joe Biden held conversations this week
22:48with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as the leaders of Qatar and Egypt just
22:53yesterday urging the need for this current peace proposal. Until then continued ground operations
22:58today in the Gaza Strip where Palestinian health officials say Israeli airstrikes killed as many as
23:0450 people. Palestinian medics say that yesterday Israeli shelling killed several people who were
23:09fleeing the area after army evacuation orders. New cross-border violence also on Israel's northern
23:15border with Lebanon. So this was the scene last night. You can see the Iron Dome launching
23:20interceptor missiles after Hezbollah fired barrages of artillery rounds and rockets toward the town
23:26of Kiryat Shmona. The IDF also released footage of a house in the north up in flames after another
23:32day of Hezbollah firing more than 100 rockets across the border. The IDF also released a video
23:38of it blowing up what it says were several Hezbollah weapons warehouses in southern Lebanon.
23:43Now here tonight in Tel Aviv protesters have taken to the streets demanding that the Israeli
23:48government strike a deal, bring the hostages home. Some of them holding up signs saying that a deal
23:54is the only hope. John. Alex Hogan from Tel Aviv, Israel. Alex, thanks.

24:03Vice President. Hi. Congratulations. Are you ready for your Fox News interview?
24:14Well, she is now the official Democrat nominee. It's been two days since Vice President Harris
24:21accepted her party's nomination for president at the DNC. She and her campaign continue to avoid
24:27answering questions, though, about how she would guide this nation into the future.
24:31So how long can she keep avoiding the press? And will the public demand to hear from her?
24:37Here to answer those questions and more, Fox News contributor Joe Concha. Joe, it's good to have you
24:42on. John, people like David, people like David, I'm sorry, David Axelrod, who was instrumental in
24:52helping Barack Obama win the White House. Axelrod says that it doesn't really matter that, you know,
24:59she hasn't had a news conference since she became the presumptive nominee because she's been so busy
25:05putting her campaign together. You know, this was a job she didn't expect she was going to be
25:11pursuing. What do you think about that logic? Well, let's think about this. The average press
25:17conference for a presidential candidate lasts, what, 40 minutes to maybe an hour. Kamala Harris
25:22doesn't have that time in her schedule to just take questions for that amount of time. What's
25:27she doing today, by the way? I'm pretty sure that she has a pretty open schedule. And Kamala Harris,
25:32John, overall wants to become the most powerful person in the world essentially by pleading the
25:37fifth for the next 73 days because her team and Democrats in general, they are keenly aware that
25:44they could avoid the press and still get what amounts to a rhetorical Swedish massage in terms
25:50of coverage. I mean, just look at Time Magazine recently as an example in terms of what we've seen
25:55as far as a slobbering cover story on Kamala Harris. Whenever somebody's on the cover of a
26:00magazine, usually that person gives an interview to said magazine. Yet her team declined to be
26:06interviewed for it, and they still got everything they wanted out of that piece. It's a whole bowl
26:11of wrong, yet Time didn't care because the goal isn't to actually hold Kamala Harris accountable
26:16for anything. It's to get her elected. As for the press conferences, let's think about this
26:20for a second. It's not just the last five weeks that she hasn't given a press conference. It's
26:25the last five years, John, because when she ran for president in 2019, couldn't even get to 2020
26:31for 10 months, didn't hold one press conference as a candidate, as vice president, not one press
26:36conference as vice president. And before you say vice presidents don't get press conferences,
26:40I'm pretty sure Mike Pence gave multiple press conferences when he was in that position,
26:46and now obviously is the candidate. I can bet you, John, the Giants will win the Super Bowl
26:50this year before you actually see Kamala Harris give a press conference before this election.
26:55I'm sorry to my friends here in Jersey that love the Giants, but it ain't happening on both fronts.
26:59Trust me. Let me ask you this, though. I mean, do voters care? We in the media obviously want to see
27:06a press conference. You know, we kind of have that's kind of our job to get people to answer
27:11questions. But do voters care? I think in the social media era, I think they care less, right,
27:17because you could have a very slickly produced video on TikTok, on YouTube, on X that the Harris
27:24team, for example, puts out there, and that's supposed to be her message and talking to people.
27:28So, yeah, maybe it is more of an in-the-bubble kind of thing. It still doesn't make it right,
27:33however, because you think about all of the presidents over the years and candidates over
27:37the years. I mean, the fact that, John, Kamala Harris won't even sit down with The View,
27:42won't even sit down with your average MSNBC anchor or PBS anchor or Gayle King, for example,
27:48the fact she hasn't done that to this point, what does this tell us about the confidence her team
27:53has in her in these situations? So, yeah, she should answer questions, but she will, John,
27:58by the way, ABC, September 10th, that debate, there's no more teleprompter, there's no more
28:03prescriptive remarks. She's going to have to speak what's called extemporaneously. And as
28:08she's shown time and again, when she tries to do this, as she did in 2019, and even now,
28:14she becomes a human Chernobyl in terms of her ability to articulate an argument and defend
28:19her positions and record. Yeah, if she wants to be the person to sit down with Vladimir Putin
28:23and Xi Jinping, it would seem that she could sit down with a couple of reporters now and then.
