00:00Welcome back everyone.
00:07It is Amelia.
00:08I hope you are fine.
00:10Homelander's room contains a surprising secret in The Boys season 4, with one item tragically
00:15paying homage to Black Noir.
00:17Black Noir was one of the main members of The Boys' premiere superhero team throughout
00:21the first three seasons, with him being the stoic assassin of The Seven.
00:25However, Homelander ended up killing Black Noir in The Boys season 3, putting an end
00:30to his time in the show.
00:31Despite this, remnants of Black Noir are still appearing in The Boys season 4, with the show
00:36paying homage to the fallen sup in one major way.
00:39The Boys season 4 is finally here, with a highly anticipated continuation of Amazon
00:44Prime Video's critically acclaimed superhero series now releasing on the streaming service.
00:50The Boys season 4 picks up right where The Boys season 3 ended, with the titular team
00:55trying to stop Victoria Newman from becoming vice president while Butcher works in the
00:59background to kill Homelander and save Ryan.
01:02The Boys season 4 has already set up an exciting future for the series, but it has also paid
01:07homage to the past in a big way.
01:09The Boys season 4 episode 1 contains a short scene in which Homelander is seen getting
01:14ready in his apartment.
01:16At one point, Homelander goes to put something in a box of items that are seemingly precious
01:21to him, with only a few things being in there.
01:24However, the most noticeable item in Homelander's box is a massive sword.
01:28Although it may not be obvious to viewers at first, it becomes clear that the sword
01:32in Homelander's box actually belonged to Black Noir upon further investigation.
01:38Throughout The Boys' first three seasons, Black Noir is seen using this sword several
01:42times during his fight scenes, with this being one of the sup's most iconic weapons.
01:47Although Black Noir has been replaced by an imposter in The Boys season 4, the new iteration
01:52of the sup is never seen with the character's trusty sword, creating a mystery of what happened
01:57to it.
01:58However, this reveal signals that Black Noir doesn't have his sword due to Homelander holding
02:03onto it, leading many viewers to wonder why Homelander is doing this after Black Noir's
02:08death.
02:09Black Noir's sword isn't the only item in Homelander's box, as it also contains a few
02:13other things.
02:14The first notable thing that can be seen in the box is a framed picture of Stormfront
02:19at her first wedding.
02:21That was Homelander's Nazi girlfriend from The Boys season 2, with Stormfront's death
02:25in The Boys season 3 being one of the things that pushed him over the edge.
02:30The founder of Vought and the Nazi flag can be seen in the image, showing that Homelander
02:34not only loved her, but also her ideology.
02:37The other significant item that is in Homelander's chest is a bottle, with this being from Maidlyn
02:42Stilwell.
02:43Before the character's death, Homelander used to drink Maidlyn Stilwell's breast milk on
02:48a regular basis, with Homelander's weird breast milk obsession being one of the most
02:52memorable parts of early seasons of The Boys.
02:55Thus, it makes sense for him to keep this item in The Boys season 4.
02:59Honoring Stilwell and his strange obsession give me some ideas related to my video in
