00:00A councilor in Bambantarlac was replaced by the mayor after Bakin, the former mayor of Bambantarlac, was replaced by Alice Guo.

00:07Guo's camp will appeal the decision of Ombudsman to remove her from the office.

00:17One day after the dismissal of Ombudsman, Alice Guo, as the mayor of Bambantarlac,

00:22tax evasion was added to her complaints because of her role in POGO in the BAUFU compound in Bambantarlac.

00:30In the complaint filed by the BIR to the Department of Justice,

00:33the Capital Gains Tax and Documentary Stamp Tax did not pay Guo

00:38when she sold shares in BAUFU Land Development when she ran for mayor of Bambantarlac.

00:43According to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission of Paok,

00:46Guo sold 2.5 million shares in BAUFU Land in 2021 for P1 per share.

00:53Guo's shares were also sold thanks to the complaint filed by the corporate secretary of BAUFU Land.

01:17According to Guo's lawyer,

01:19they will be given time to accept the statement in accordance with one of the complaints of the BIR.

01:23In accordance with the dismissal of Ombudsman to Guo,

01:26his lawyer was saddened that the Ombudsman did not support their argument.

01:31But they are already preparing a motion for reconsideration that they need to appeal in the Court of Appeals.

01:38This is the second criminal complaint against Guo.

01:41He is also facing a Qualified Human Trafficking Complaint here in the Department of Justice

01:46related to the raid on Zuniwan Technology in March this year.

01:50Aside from the Coahuaranto case and the cancellation of the BIR certificate issued by the Office of the Solicitor General

01:57and the material misrepresentation case in Comelec.

02:01According to Comelec Chairman George Garcia,

02:03the Ombudsman's order is immediately executory

02:06except if he can get a temporary restraining order from the Court of Appeals.

02:11So even if he can file a Certificate of Candidacy for the next election,

02:15Comelec will cancel it.

02:17The dismissal of the Ombudsman to Guo is close to the three-month suspension

02:21of the 12 officials of BAMBAT, including the Vice Mayor.

02:25He is also a member of the Sangguniang Bayan.

02:28So the Municipality will let Councilor Eranio Timbang run first.

02:32He is a councilor in Sangguniang Bayan but he opposed the permit.

02:40And because of this, since he opposed, he was acquitted by the Ombudsman.

02:48It is sad that we have to go through this.

02:53But as they say, everything is God's plan.
