00:08For the honor they gave to the country,
00:11they were given a gold medal and recognition in Malacanang.

00:20The Philippines' flag was fluttering.
00:22At the same time, the airplane landed,
00:24two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and bronze medalist Nesty Petesio
00:29landed at the Villamor Air Base at 7 p.m.
00:32They were accompanied by bronze medalist Ira Villegas and other Olympians.

01:33We broke Tokyo Olympics medal hall.
01:37For two consecutive Olympics, we were number one in Southeast Asia.
01:44You are beautifying and elevating the name of the Philippines.

02:03the determination of a Filipino,
02:05and the excellence of the Filipino spirit.
02:08For the blood, sweat, and tears that were shed,
02:10the Presidential Citation awarded all who participated in the Olympics.
02:14The President also awarded a P1 million cash incentive
02:18to those who did not receive the medal.
02:20Aside from the Presidential Citation,
02:22the Bronze Medalists were awarded P2 million
02:26which were Nesty Petesho and Ira Villagas.
02:29Yulo was awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit
02:32for the two Olympic golds in gymnastics
02:35and P20 million cash incentive.
02:38To all the athletes, I am very proud that we fought,
02:45we gave our best in everything.
02:48We shed blood, sweat, and tears.
02:51We will do better in the next competitions.
02:54The night of the Olympics is still long
02:56because after their celebration in Malacanang,
02:59there is a victory party for them and their families in a hotel.
03:04And for their return to the country,
03:07they did not just celebrate the victory for themselves,
03:11but the fame for the entire Filipino people.
