00:00Good evening. Staying warm and sunny for many of us into Friday, but through this evening
00:04some further heavy torrential downpours are at risk. We still have a thunderstorm warning
00:08in force for central and eastern areas of England. These areas of rain could bring travel
00:13disruption spray on the roads and some hail as well as lightning through the first part
00:18of the night. Once they clear away, though, it will turn much drier as we head into the
00:22early hours of Friday. So clear skies for many areas, but we've still got some fairly
00:26humid and muggy air, so it's still going to be quite a sticky night. Temperatures widely
00:32holding up in the mid-teens. We could not dip down much below 20 degrees across parts
00:37of eastern England. A little bit cooler further north, but still warmer here than it has been
00:42lately. Now into Friday, some wet weather will spread in from the north and west into
00:47parts of Northern Ireland. Western areas of Northern Scotland in particular, first thing,
00:51the breeze will pick up as well and we could see some fairly heavy bursts towards lunchtime.
00:56Ahead of this, a fairly dry and bright day. However, there is a risk of some heavy downpours
01:01across eastern England. Once again, there's a further risk of thunderstorms here, but
01:05we're not expecting them to be as widespread as we will have seen through this afternoon.
01:09Now, for many of us, as it is going to be another dry and sunny afternoon, temperatures
01:13once again will be climbing into the mid to possibly high 20s, 28, 29 degrees, possibly
01:19another 30 degrees on Friday, but quite widely into the 20s. Turning fresher, though, once
01:24this band of rain does clear away to the east. Now, that rain will spread south and
01:29eastwards through Friday evening, pushing into parts of Wales, northern England and
01:33later into southeastern areas of England into Saturday. But ahead of it, it should be a
01:38relatively dry evening across eastern areas and it will actually clear up quite nicely
01:43across the north and west. We've got that fresh air arriving by Saturday morning. So
01:48as a result, temperatures quite a different feel by Saturday morning, temperatures dipping
01:53down much lower, closer to the lower single figures for some areas of Scotland and Northern
01:57Ireland. Still that humid feel, though, holding on in central and eastern areas. As I said,
02:03on Saturday, there's some wet weather spreading into southern and eastern areas of England.
02:06We could see some fairly heavy burst, particularly into the afternoon across the south and east.
02:11Elsewhere across Wales, northern England, a pretty dry and bright afternoon or nice
02:15start to the weekend. Some showers, though, spreading into parts of Northern Ireland and
02:20Scotland. These could be quite heavy and blustery as well. Temperatures much closer to average
02:25by Saturday, a little below average, in fact, for some areas of the north and west and a
02:30good 10 degrees lower for some areas of central England for Saturday. So definitely a different
02:37feel on the way to start the weekend and low pressure will be sticking around as we head
02:41into Sunday as well. There'll still be some drier and brighter weather, but we're likely
02:45to see the next weather front arrive from the west later on on Sunday. Now, if you do

02:55Bye bye.
