00:00The San Juan City Local Government is investigating if there was abuse in their animal pound.

00:05During the flood, some dogs and cats were seen there tied up and some were not able to survive.

00:16In the aftermath of the flood and the strong winds,

00:20many tagged Veron, an animal rescuer, in this video that is spreading on social media.

00:27Some dogs were seen not knowing what to do after the flood.

00:31There were also cats that were not able to move and were submerged in the water.

00:35This is a city pound by San Juan.

00:38With the help of another animal rescue group, they were able to go to the area.

00:42We were crying while we were rescuing.

00:44We were crying and crying.

00:45There were many dead cats that were drowning.

00:47There was a cat that even though it was drowning, it tried to survive on its own.

00:52It was already critical.

00:53We were giving first aid immediately.

00:56We gave them CPR.

00:58They were able to save eight cats.
