00:00Vice President Sara Duterte and her family traveled abroad to the Philippines to fight the typhoon Karina and Habagat.

00:11The Vice President, her wife, children, and mother flew to Germany yesterday early in the morning.

00:18In a statement, the OVP said that it is unfortunate that her trip was hit by the typhoon.

00:25The OVP added that it was a personal trip of the Vice President and her family, and that she has a valid permit to leave the country.

00:33Duterte's travel was accompanied by a travel authority based on the documents received from the Office of the President on July 9.

00:40Even so, the OVP's Disaster Operations Center is always ready to help the families affected by the calamity.

00:47Today, the OVP distributed food to the disaster responders in Barangay Malresa, Quezon City.

00:53There are also relief bags for the 300 families evacuated.
