00:00All right, true stability, a firm foundation in Christ.
00:13Matthew 7.24 tells us, so everyone who hears these words of mine and acts upon them, obeying
00:19them, will be like a sensible, prudent, practical, wise man who built his house upon the rock.
00:27John Wise once said, the weight of the world is lifted off your shoulders when you turn
00:32your life over to the Lord.
00:36Let him be your backbone and stability so you may prosper like never before.
00:41Feel the freedom of his love break through the chains of despair.
00:46True stability, a firm foundation in Christ.
00:51Part two.
00:52Want to know more?
00:54Hang around.
00:57Welcome, welcome to Lions Roar 3.8 Ministries.
01:03Amos 3.8 tells us, the lion has roared.
01:06Who will not hear of fear the Lord God has spoken, who can but prophesy?
01:12My name is George Magalhães and we are an apostolic ministry with a prophetic teaching
01:18edge.
01:19It is our passion, our mission to reignite, equip and release Christ-like disciples both
01:25locally and globally.
01:27We do that for our itinerant ministry, but as well as providing you with resources just
01:32like this one to help you, to aid you in your God-given calling.
01:37Today we want to continue on last week's teaching on true, true what?
01:46True what?
01:47True stability, true stability, a firm foundation in Christ.
01:56All right, before I call on our monthly, usual monthly guest speaker, Prophet Sabrina, I'm
02:05just going to give you a little context, starting with our main verse, amen?
02:12Let's bring that up.
02:13All right, so our main verse comes from the book of Matthew 7, Matthew 7, verse 24.
02:23The study is on Matthew 7, 18 to 27, but our main verse is Matthew 7, verse 24.
02:30This time reading from the message translation, these words I speak to you are not incidental
02:40additions to your life.
02:42They are not homeowner improvements to your standard of living.
02:44They are foundational words, words to build a life on.
02:49If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house
02:56on solid rock, amen?
02:59Amen.
03:00Amen.
03:01Hello, beautiful.
03:03Look who's here.
03:05And I happy, it's a bonus, twice in a month, amen?
03:09Yeah.
03:10All right, so just before we start, let me give a little context to those who did not
03:14hear last week, and also to help you, if you did listen, to help you remember what we covered
03:20last week, amen?
03:22Amen.
03:23All right, so stability, this is just a little context, stability is a concept everyone understands,
03:29yet its meaning varies widely based on individual priorities.
03:34So financial security, family, and relationships often define stability for many.
03:39However, the biblical perspective presents a deeper understanding.
03:44True stability as revealed in scripture is not just about external circumstances, but
03:50about having a firm foundation in Christ Jesus.
03:55Jesus assures us in John 16, 33, that despite life's tribulations, we can find peace in
04:03Him, our solid rock.
04:05Through the study of Matthew 7, 18-27, we learn that true stability comes from a life
04:11rooted in obedience, faith, and a genuine relationship with God, producing enduring
04:17spiritual fruits.
04:20In today's study, again, we'll continue on Matthew 7, 18-27, where we will explore, study,
04:29and for some, discover the importance of living in stability, established in the way
04:34God intended for all Christian believers to live.
04:38Now last week, we covered our first section, Matthew 7, 18-20, where we answered, yes,
04:45we answered three questions, three key questions from that section that play an important part
04:51in living in true stability.
04:53The first one we answered was?
04:56What is biblical truth?
04:57Bruce!
04:58You're distracted by me, aren't I?
05:01I look good today, don't I?
05:03Yes, you do.
05:05What is biblical fruits?
05:07Number two?
05:08What significance do the fruits of the Spirit hold, and what do they reveal about our character?
05:15Very good.
05:16And number three?
05:17How do we walk in the fruit of the Spirit?
05:19Amen.
05:20So we managed then to continue the study onto our second section, Matthew 7, 21-23, where
05:27we revealed and uncovered biblical supporting evidence of the following key true statements.
05:35Number one?
05:36Stability accomplishes God's will.
05:38Very good.
05:39Number two?
05:40Stability is present by faith, not works.
05:43And number three?
05:44Stability is found in a genuine relationship with God.
05:48Amen.
05:49All right.
05:50So this week, we'll finally complete our study in our third section, which covers Matthew
05:557, 24-27, where we'll once again provide further biblical supporting evidence of the following
06:05true key statements to living in true stability.
06:08Number one?
06:10Stability is a result of obedience to God.
06:13Stop distracting me.
06:14Number two?
06:15Stability is founded on the rock.
06:17And number three?
06:18Stability cannot coexist with disobedience.
06:20All right.
06:21So we encourage you, as we did last week, we encourage you to listen to these teachings
06:25several times, because this is not something you get on the first time.
06:29This is something you need to hear it over and over again until it really brings out
06:33the revelation, brings out true understanding in our lives.
06:37And if you know anybody else who needs to hear this message, share it with them.
06:41Amen?
06:42Amen.
06:43All right.
06:44Let's pray before we get into it.
06:46And when we do get into it, let me say that again, we're going to cover just a little
06:51section of what stability is, give you that little context introduction of what stability
06:57is before we continue on to third section.
06:59All right?
07:00All right.
07:01Do you want to pray?
07:02All right.
07:03Father God, we just want to thank you, Lord God, for the time that we're going to have
07:06right now, Lord God.
07:07We thank you for those who are listening.
07:09We thank you most importantly, Lord, that the words that comes out of our mouth, Lord
07:14God, are words that are from you, Lord God, words that will be beneficial, words that
07:18will be, Father God, hallelujah, like a double edged sword, Lord, that cuts through bone
07:24and marrow, Lord God, words that bring forth fruits and result, Lord God, and stability
07:29in everybody's life who are listening to it.
07:31So Lord, we just want to thank you, Father God, for your word at work.
07:34We also thank you, Lord God, that no distraction, Lord God, shall come to pass, Lord, of those
07:40who are listening to it, Lord God.
07:42In Jesus' name.
07:43Amen.
07:44Amen.
07:45Amen.
07:46All right.
07:47Let me give you a little introduction.
07:48Mm-hmm.
07:49All right.
07:50Let me...
07:51Stability, as I said at the beginning, usually in a worldly context, is a concept familiar
08:01to everyone.
08:02However, its meaning can vary widely depending on personal priorities.
08:07That's right.
08:08So for some...
08:10stability means financial security, while others it revolves around family, relationship.
08:17I mean, what we define as stability often differs significantly from each other first,
08:25but it's very different from biblical perspective on the matter.
08:29All right.
08:30Now the power thesaurus, the power thesaurus online, reveals stability as permanence, solidity,
08:38durability, steadiness, consistency, steadfastness, dependability.
08:47Bible Gateway Dictionary, however, reveals stability as a state of being in a firm or
08:56unwavering situation, whether emotional, political, or personal.
09:02Stability is an important element of a settled life before God.
09:07That's a key point of it, a resettled life before God.
09:11As we did last week, today we will be looking more specifically into Matthew 7 24-27.
09:21For some relevant context, let's once again read it.
09:26Now that's come from the AMPC version before focusing on our search section.
09:32You want to read it?
09:33All right.
09:34So we're going to read Matthew 7 18-27, the whole study, and then we're going to jump
09:41straight into our third section.
09:43So Matthew 7 18-27 in the Amplified Classic, a good healthy tree cannot bear bad worthless
09:51fruit, nor can a bad diseased tree bear excellent fruit worthy of admiration.
09:58Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
10:04For you will fully know them by their fruits.
10:07Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does
10:12the will of my Father who is in heaven.
10:16Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and driven
10:21out demons in your name and done many mighty works in your name?
10:26And then I will say to them openly, publicly, I never knew you, depart from me.
10:31You who act wickedly disregarding my commands.
10:36So everyone who hears these words of mine and acts upon them, obeying them will be like
10:41a sensible, prudent, practical, wise man who built his house upon the rock.
10:48And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house.
10:52Yet it did not fall because he had been founded on the rock.
10:57And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a stupid,
11:03foolish man who built his house upon the sand.
11:06And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against the house
11:10and it fell.
11:12And great and complete was the fall of it.
11:15Amen.
11:16All right.
11:17Our third section, Matthew 7, 24 to 27.
11:21That's right.
11:22Our study, as I said, on stability, true stability concludes in this section.
11:28The first, the three key biblical statements that we're going to be proving, touching on
11:43is stability is a result of obedience to God, stability is founded on the rock and stability
11:49cannot coexist with disobedience.
11:53Amen.
11:54Now, let's read again, Matthew chapter 7, verse 24 to 27.
11:59Why do we read it?
12:00Because we want you guys to be on par where we are at, right?
12:05So we're giving you the explanation, but we also want it to be refreshed in your mind
12:10while we break it down, all right?
12:12So Matthew chapter 7, verse 24 to 27 from the AMPC.
12:18So everyone who hears these words of mine and acts upon them, obeying them, will be
12:24like a sensible, prudent, practical, wise man who built his house upon the rock.
12:31Now this verse emphasizes that those who hear and act upon Jesus' words are like someone
12:37who built their house on a solid rock.
12:40Now you have to say, it says those who, how do you say it?
12:46Those who actually do, it's not who hear and do what he said.
12:52Those are the ones that their house are on solid rock.
12:54Amen.
12:55So let me give you some, just a couple of Bible references that support that revelation
13:03as well, that understanding.
13:04James 2, 17, James 2, 17 tells us that faith without corresponding actions and obedience
13:11lacks effectiveness and vitality.
13:15So simply believing without acting upon that belief, as you were just saying, renders faith
13:20inactive and powerless.
13:22That's right.
13:23James 1, James 1, 22 to 25 also emphasizes that simply hearing God's word without putting
13:30it into practice leads to self-deception.
13:34It contrasts listening alone with being a doer of the word, illustrating that true faith
13:43involves active obedience and application of God's teachings.
13:47That's right.
13:48Stability is a result of obedience to God.
13:53So it's not just obedience like, oh, I have faith, so I'm obedient to God.
13:58So what we are speaking here is, it's not, oh, I have faith, so that's mean I'm obedient
14:03to God.
14:04It's more than faith.
14:05It's faith with action.
14:07It's not just, I'm going to church, I'll listen to the word of God because his word says so,
14:13automatically it's like, you know, magic wand, it happened, right?
14:18No, it's not.
14:19You have to have action.
14:20There is time, yes, where God says, you know, wait, don't do anything, I'll do something
14:24about it.
14:26But if you read the word of God, every time there was, you know, signs, wonders, a miracle,
14:31you know, like lift up the rod, you know, well, he actually struck the rock, the rock
14:36and the sea, the thing opens, the Red Sea open or, you know, the water came out.
14:43You have the place where, you know, Aaron had to hold up the hand, I'm trying to be
14:48specific, hold up the hand of, who was it again, Moses, for, you know, for something
14:56supernatural happened.
14:57There was an act, they believed, but there was an act.
14:59Let's continue.
15:00Yes.
15:01It's set up.
15:02Yes.
15:03Continuing on Matthew chapter seven, verse 25, and the rain fell and the floods came
15:10and the winds blew and beat against the house, yet it did not fall because it has been founded
15:17on the rock.
15:19Now the verse reassures us that come what may, and it is clear that rain will fall,
15:28there will be some issues, the floods will come and the winds will blow, yet because
15:33we are founded on the rock, we will not fall.
15:37Amen.
15:38Let me give you some more biblical references to that statement.
15:43Psalm 92, Psalm 92, 13 to 15, again, reading from the Amplified Classic, Psalm 92, 13 to
15:5115.
15:52Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God, growing
15:56in grace.
15:57They shall still bring forth fruit in old age.
16:02They shall be full of sap of spiritual vitality and rich in the virtue of trust, love, and
16:11contentment.
16:12They are leaving memorials to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to his promises.
16:18He is my rock and there is no unrighteousness in him.
16:23Amen.
16:24Luke six, Luke six, 47 to 48, Luke six, 47 to 48 in the Amplified Classic, for everyone
16:30who comes to me and listens to my words in order to heed their teaching and does them,
16:40I will show you what he's like.
16:43He's like a man building a house who dug and went deep and laid a foundation upon the rock.
16:50And when a flood arose, the torrent broke against that house and could not shake or
16:55move it because it had been securely built or founded on a rock.
17:01So stability is founded on the rock.
17:05And here when we talk about the rock, we're talking about Jesus Christ.
17:09For those who are new or who have not been a Christian for long, we are talking that
17:15building a house, building a life of stability comes from Jesus Christ, from his word, from
17:22what he has given us as a decree, like we said before, obedience brings forth stability.
17:29Stability is on the rock.
17:30Obedience to who?
17:31To the rock.
17:32To who?
17:33To Jesus Christ, right?
17:34Now, let's keep going on.
17:36Finally, Matthew 7, verse 26 to 27 from the AMPC version again, number 26, and everyone
17:44who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a stupid, foolish man
17:51who built his house upon the sand.
17:53I like how you emphasize stupid.
17:55I did, on purpose, you got it.
17:58Yeah?
17:59No wonder we've been married for so long.
18:02Now, these verses reveal very clearly the consequences of disobedience to God, not being
18:21founded on the rock, acting foolishly like a stupid man who built his house upon the
18:27sand.
18:28We are guaranteed that a great and complete fall will result upon all those who choose
18:33to ignore God's wise word.
18:36What does that mean?
18:37Again, if you go and listen to what we've done last week and now, you will understand
18:42how to walk in stability because you can't, it's like the reason why God put in building
18:50a house.
18:51You have to understand, I can't take those cement dry and put it on, lay it down as a
18:59foundation and expect that because I've put in some of the ingredient that should be there
19:05to lay foundation, so I'm fine.
19:07No, it's still not going to be fine because it's dry cement.
19:11You need to beat it up, if I'm not mistaken, that's how you do it, right?
19:14You beat it up with water or something like that.
19:16Yeah.
19:17It has to be rebar.
19:18There's a lot of process.
19:20That's right.
19:21That's what makes it.
19:22The process becomes a solid foundation, but the process without that machine, that there's
19:28a machine that actually, or if you do it by hand, whichever way it is, but there is a
19:32way, a process to do it, and that process is our rock, is Jesus Christ refining the
19:38fruit of the spirit, being working to become a cement that is well ...
19:44An impenetrable foundation.
19:47Yeah.
19:48Sorry, guys.
19:50He's done those things?
19:51I haven't.
19:52Indestructible foundation.
19:53Oh, yeah.
19:54Good one.
19:55All right.
19:56Let's continue, guys.
19:57All right.
19:58James 1, 22 to 25 is a cross-reference, so that supports what we're talking about.
20:02So James 1, 22 to 25 in the Amplified Classic, but be doers of the word, obey the message
20:10and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves into deception by reasoning contrary
20:17to the truth.
20:18Very important, this one.
20:20Very important.
20:21I mean, they're all important.
20:22They're all words that will bring transformation, but I love how you say betraying yourself.
20:27That's what I just said before.
20:28You can think you use one part of the ingredients, so it's part of the list anyway, so it should
20:34be fine.
20:35No.
20:36You're betraying yourself into deception by reasoning contrary to the truth.
20:39Next, guys.
20:40Next.
20:41And I like how it says here, be doers of the word, obey the message, and not merely listeners
20:45to it.
20:46So he doesn't disregard listening.
20:49So listening is still part of the process, as you were saying.
20:51You can have some ingredients, but you require all of the ingredients, and you have to process,
20:58to go through the process accurately and appropriately.
21:01It's not whatever you like, whenever you like.
21:04It doesn't work like that.
21:05That's where perseverance come in, right?
21:07I mean, the Bible is so awesome, right?
21:10The word of God is so awesome.
21:12The word of God has the word perseverance so that you know that if you're putting some
21:16ingredients that needs to be there, and you need other ingredients that is difficult for
21:20you to do it, you still have the rock, you still have Jesus Christ to help you to persevere
21:26so that you can finish that list and stand on that solid rock, if that makes sense to
21:30you.
21:31Number 23.
21:32All right.
21:33Number 23, verse 23.
21:34For if anyone only listens to the word, as here we go again, so he is saying you have
21:39to listen.
21:40So it's not just doing either, and I've known throughout my Christian life, I've known a
21:46lot of people that just go out and just do whatever, and then say, well, God wants people
21:51to just be proactive, so just do whatever, and then He will just realign you on path.
21:56Unless God's telling you to do that, you should not be doing that.
21:58You should not move until God tells you to move.
22:01That's right.
22:02So you need to listen too.
22:04You can't just go and do whatever.
22:06And then you're out of the protection of God.
22:08I mean, we've heard stories, we've known people who went and done it because they were
22:12so used to doing it, and then, you know, they were out of the protection of God and bad
22:17things happened.
22:18Yeah.
22:19So if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like
22:24a man who looks carefully at his own natural face in a mirror, for he thoughtfully observes
22:30himself and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like.
22:35But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, talking about the word of God, the law
22:42of liberty or freedom, and he's faithful to it and preserves in looking into it, being
22:50not a heedless listener who forgets, but an active doer who obeys, he shall be blessed
22:57in his doing, his life of obedience.
23:01So stability cannot coexist with disobedience.
23:05Amen.
23:06All right.
23:07Do you want to add anything else just before I bring in a very important point?
23:12Oh, I will add something afterward.
23:13All right.
23:14Keep going.
23:15All right.
23:16This brings us to a very important point that I need to make.
23:19I must make this in light of recent horrific news of, and I'm talking specifically of an
23:27assassination attempt on President Trump.
23:30Now please bear with me for a few minutes, because regardless of how you feel or think
23:34about this, Lita, my point is very relevant and provides great support in revealing true
23:42stability rather than what the secular world portrays.
23:45See the world that we're living in is a fallen world.
23:48We cannot forget that.
23:50And what the world portrays, what the world is communicating, what the world keeps narrating
23:58is instability.
24:01Let me say that in a better way.
24:04Worldly stability is authoritarian instability and dystopian uniformity.
24:12Let me say that again.
24:14Worldly stability is authoritarian instability and dystopian uniformity dressed up as stability,
24:23freedom, and unity.
24:25But it's not freedom and unity, and it is not stability.
24:29You see, how we see things, our perspective, it matters.
24:33We've preached on that before.
24:34It matters a lot.
24:35How you see things, I like how there used to be a meme going around for the last few
24:39years where there was this man, I think it was from a movie, and there was a part of
24:43it on top and a second part at the bottom.
24:46On top, he was looking around the city and everything looked nice and hunky-dory, looks
24:50all sophisticated.
24:51And then when he put the second part down, he put glasses on, and he could see all the
24:55corruption.
24:57That's exactly what's happening.
24:58In the world, their perspective, when I say their, as in these people in the world, the
25:04secular narrative is, as I said, very authoritarian instability.
25:12It is actually instability.
25:14What they tried to do was to bring instability.
25:18Just look at France.
25:20Think about it.
25:21I don't want to get too political, but look at France.
25:23If they win, they destroy everything.
25:25If they lose, they destroy everything.
25:29It's ridiculous.
25:30This is deranged and absolutely demonic, these people.
25:34I'm not saying the people are bad.
25:36I'm saying, because the word is very clear, and it says that we do not fight against flesh
25:39and blood, but against spiritual principality.
25:41But these people are being demonically inspired, led, possessed by demonic forces.
25:51Now, we have to come to the revelation, the realization that, and I'm not trying to be
25:57anti-government or anything like that, it is just the truth.
26:00It's in the Bible.
26:01It's what we can see.
26:03It's what you can see, if you really want to see.
26:05From a biblical point of view, from the truth, from the lens and the filters of the word
26:11of God, we must come to the realization, the revelation, the understanding that government
26:16is not the answer to this world's problems.
26:19The problems are of a spiritual nature in a fallen world, and therefore require appropriate
26:25spiritual solutions.
26:27See, the truth is there is only one solution, and that is Jesus Christ, the good news of
26:35the gospel.
26:36The only credible solution, proven throughout history, and which continues to be proven
26:42today and will continue forevermore.
26:45You see, there's a man, a brother in Christ, a well-known minister called Ken Ham.
26:52In a recent conversation with a non-believer, he asked the following, how do you determine
26:57what's right and what's wrong?
27:00And he responded by consensus of the tribe.
27:07So Ken asked again.
27:08So it's subjective, meaning inner-directed, personalized, emotional, biased, imaginary,
27:15therefore irrational.
27:19Interesting thing is that he responded very quickly, absolutely.
27:25Now I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything here, but at the same time, this is automatically
27:31an oxymoron answer, since he had just stated that consensus of the tribe, now consensus
27:37meaning the general view or opinion, majority, is majority-driven, conformity of minds, therefore
27:45ever-evolving, which clearly undermines, somewhat negates, any absolutes.
27:54You see, Ken Ham goes, he went on further in the conversation, and he asked, so if someone
27:59considers, we're still talking about the incident of Trump, that's why I'm trying to
28:06give you an example here, and he goes on in the conversation, he said, so if someone considers
28:10types like you dangerous, can we eliminate you?
28:15And he said, that depends.
28:17Wow.
28:18Well, at least that was a consistent answer, since it's all subjective, right?
28:26That depends?
28:29This then clearly explains the demonic, deranged, shameless response of so many people around
28:37the world, celebrities, politicians, expressing their anger and disappointment that the sniper
28:43missed Trump.
28:44Are you for real?
28:46You see, as I said at the beginning, your world view, your lens, your filter matters,
28:52how you see things, and their moral compass is completely evil and wicked.
29:03Worldly stability is not true stability, since the problem with humanity is an outright rebellion.
29:11It's a war on family.
29:13It's a war on children.
29:15It's ultimately a war on God.
29:19And there is no doubt about it that the current Western world administrations, globalists
29:24and elites, have launched this war, also politically inspired, blatantly shaking their fists at
29:34God, simply because they can, since it's all subjective, right?
29:40As per the consensus of the tribe.
29:42What am I saying here?
29:43In other words, because the majority of the tribe, society itself, stands silent many
29:50times in the midst of wickedness, or worse yet, even sided with the consensus of the
29:57tribe, the worldly narrative, it's evil, just gets bolder and bolder, more daring, more
30:05blatant, producing more instability, rather than the stability we so thirst for.
30:12So what's the solution, George?
30:14How is that relevant to what we're talking about?
30:17Great question.
30:20Great question.
30:21Following on Ken Ham's biblically inspired words, it's a heart and mind answer, renew
30:29of the mind.
30:30Remember that in the Word of God?
30:32People need to change their hearts and minds in regards to God and His Word, and the saving
30:38gospel.
30:39That is the ultimate answer.
30:40And people, it's always been the answer, and remember that, because the mainstream media,
30:46the governments, the secular world is not going to tell you that, and they won't even
30:52acknowledge the spiritual problem of this world.
30:57Now in regards to relevance, if you are a true believing Christian, I want you to listen
31:01to this very carefully.
31:03It's completely incompatible with our Christian faith to embrace the subjective ideology,
31:11the consensus of the tribe narrative.
31:13It's incompatible.
31:15Think of it.
31:16It's a kingdom of God, not a democracy of God, not a republic of God, not a communistic
31:22or socialist of God.
31:25It's a kingdom of God.
31:28First I remind us of the times those who did not adhere to the tyrannical mandates
31:35of the last few years were ostracized, publicly attacked, shamed on media, threatened, and
31:43sadistically brutalized by authoritative figures and organizations, unfortunately with the
31:50support of many ignorant Christians, churches, and leadership.
31:56It's like it's safe and effective, right?
32:00We're all in this together.
32:01You'll learn nothing and be happy.
32:04And arguably the most infamous quote from our very own Chairman Dan, remember him?
32:10This is what he said.
32:11You'd be surprised at how much can be, I know it doesn't sound like him, but anyway, you'd
32:16be surprised at how much can be avoided if people stop insisting on their personal freedoms.
32:21Because insisting on human rights is not only selfish.
32:25It's stupid.
32:27This kind of rhetoric clearly demonstrates the deceitfulness and wicked agenda that lies
32:33behind this lie.
32:36Again, true stability must be rooted and established in a Christian biblical perspective, exclusively
32:47found in Christ Jesus alone, our firm foundation and truth.
32:53That is an important element of a settled life before the Christian God.
32:59Amen.
33:00Well said.
33:01Well said.
33:03Let me just back it up further with the Word of God.
33:06A great illustration of this is Herod, who John the Baptist criticized for committing
33:13adultery.
33:14Despite this, Herod respected John as a righteous and holy man and protected him until he was
33:22stripped.
33:23Mark chapter 6, verse 20 describes how Herod was deeply moved by John's words and enjoyed
33:32listening.
33:33I mean, it actually says it in the verse, enjoyed listening to him, yet he never acted
33:39upon the warnings John gave.
33:42This demonstrates that while Herod showed reverence and interest in John's teaching,
33:47he failed to apply them in his own life.
33:50His life concluded with evident instability, right?
33:56Now as Christians, like I said, we all face storms in life.
34:00There is no pastor, no prophet, no whoever has money or riches in the world that doesn't
34:05face storms.
34:06If anybody tells you that, just tell them they need God big time right now.
34:11But what sets us apart is our foundation in God that anchors us during those challenges.
34:17We have that blessing that we have our rock, our Lord Jesus Christ, right, compared to
34:22those who doesn't.
34:23Our faith then grows stronger as we immerse ourselves in God's word, abide in Him, act
34:30in obedience, which is having the faith but acting as well, producing the fruits of the
34:36Spirit as a sure promise for the stability we all need.
34:42All right, so in this study, in this study of Matthew 7, 18 to 27, when we're talking
34:49about the whole study from last week to this week, we established the importance of living
34:55in stability, true stability, the way God intended for all Christian believers.
35:01Again, let me point out, because we need to remember this, in our first section, Matthew
35:067, 18 to 20, we answered three key questions.
35:11Number one, what is biblical fruits, not the other way around.
35:15Number two, what significance do the fruits of the Spirit hold and what do they reveal
35:21about our character?
35:22And number three, how do we walk in the fruit of the Spirit?
35:25All right, so we went on, we answered those questions and then we went on to second section,
35:31Matthew 7, 21 to 23, where we revealed and discovered biblical supporting evidence of
35:38the following key statements.
35:39These were statements that were key in those verses.
35:43Number one, stability accomplishes God will.
35:47Number two, stability is present by faith not works.
35:50And number three, stability is found in genuine relationship with God.
35:55Now finally today, it seems like a short one, but we packed a lot into it.
36:01You have to really listen to it.
36:03Yeah, so today, our third section, Matthew 7, 24 to 27, we provided further biblical
36:10evidence, supporting evidence of the following key statements.
36:16Number one, stability is a result of obedience to God.
36:20Number two, stability is founded on the rock.
36:23And number three, stability cannot coexist with disobedience.
36:27So again, let me say what I said at the beginning, I encourage you to listen to this teaching
36:32several times.
36:34We've done a very basic introduction on stability, it's a very basic one, and maybe in the future
36:40we'll even do a book or chapter of a book on this, because it is important.
36:44We all want stability in life, amen?
36:47We encourage you to listen to this several times, because this will help cement and renew
36:52your mind and establish the biblical truths that we need in a Christian life, in our faith.
36:59Those are foundational truths that we talked about, foundational.
37:03They are things that, as Christians, it's good that we know, because it builds a foundation.
37:08It builds a foundation in us that we know who we are in Christ, like we did when we
37:12did, what was it again?
37:14We did on identity, right?
37:18So these also help, this is part of those core values that, as Christians, we need to
37:23be aware of.
37:24Keep going.
37:25And if you know anybody, again, if you know anybody who needs to listen to a word like
37:29this, if they're very unstable, if they're very chaotic at the moment in their lives,
37:33they don't know where to head to, a message like this, not a message, this message will
37:38actually help them, because ultimately it leads them to the only solution, to the answer
37:45that they need, and that is Christ Jesus.
37:47He's our rock, our firm foundation, amen?
37:49He's the one that provides us the stability that we need in life.
37:52All right, let's conclude today's study, this study.
37:56All right, so let's conclude with Paul's powerful and blessed words from Colossians 1, verse
38:0323, from the AMPC, and this he will do, provided that you continue to stay with and in the
38:10faith in Christ, well-grounded and settled and steadfast, not shifting or moving away
38:17from the hope which rests on and is inspired by the glad tithing, the gospel, which you
38:24heard and which has been preached, has been designed for and offered without restrictions
38:30to every person under heaven, and of which gospel I, Paul, became a minister, amen?
38:37Amen, amen.
38:38All right, if you're new here, if you've never given your life to Christ, if you're not a
38:41Christian believer yet, well, this is your moment.
38:45This is your moment.
38:471 John 5, 4-5, in the word of God, it tells us, for whatever is born of God overcomes
38:53the world.
38:54You've probably tried a thousand, a billion times to overcome all your issues, and you
38:57just keep falling into the same thing over and over again, and you've had enough.
39:01Well, whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
39:07And this is the victory that, and by the way, that wasn't a cough because of cold, that
39:14was a cough because I'm speaking too fast and I didn't swallow.
39:18So we're actually quite warm in this room now.
39:20Thank you.
39:21Thank you.
39:22And you know who it is.
39:23So thank you very much.
39:24Bless you.
39:25And this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith, our faith.
39:31Who is he who overcomes the world?
39:33The he who believes that Jesus is the son of God.
39:37John 3, 16-17 goes on to say, for God so loved the world, not what the world keeps
39:44saying about the Christian God, that he's so judgmental and schizophrenic, and one moment
39:50he's good, the next moment he's attacked.
39:51That is complete garbage.
39:52It's got nothing in the Bible to claim those absolutely deceitful statements.
39:59For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, talking about Jesus, that
40:03whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
40:08For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through
40:14him might be saved.
40:17Might in that word actually means will be saved.
40:21One John 1, verse 9 goes on to say, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
40:29to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
40:33Oh, there's that dirty word, George Sin.
40:36I'm a good person.
40:37I've been great.
40:38I help out people.
40:39There's many great people and good people, unfortunately, in hell.
40:45It doesn't matter how good you are, because as the word of God says, that our righteousness
40:49is but filthy rags before the Lord.
40:52There is nothing you can do that can pay for all the sins that you've committed and that
40:57you will commit in your life.
41:01There is nothing.
41:02There is nothing.
41:03Only Jesus Christ is completely righteous, and only faith in Christ Jesus as our Redeemer
41:10will save you.
41:12Only that.
41:13And sin, in its most simplistic definition, is when we try to live our lives without God.
41:17We were created in his image, out of all creation.
41:20We, humanity, is the only ones created in God's image, and God is spirit, therefore
41:24we are spirit.
41:26Spirit beings made in his image, with a body and a soul, yes, for a purpose.
41:30We have a mission, a commission here to fulfill on earth, but we are spirit beings, ultimately,
41:36made in the image of God, the only creations made in his image.
41:40He loves us that much, and then he gave us authority over all the things of the earth.
41:45He gave humanity, but you can only exercise that authority within that relationship with
41:50God as one in Christ Jesus.
41:52When you put your faith in him, and you are saved, and you are restored to the family
41:57of God, or as the Pentecostal movement, as the Christians like to say, we are reborn.
42:02Born again.
42:03That's right.
42:04Amen.
42:05So what do I do, George?
42:06What do I need to do?
42:07Very simple.
42:08Listen to my beautiful wife here, Romans 10, verse 9 to 10.
42:11She'll tell you.
42:12It's very clear.
42:13Well, it says here that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in
42:17your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
42:22For with the heart men believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto
42:28salvation.
42:29Amen.
42:30And then the word of God, as you can see right there on the screen, goes on to say in Titus
42:333, verse 5, Ephesians 2, verse 8, Acts 1, verse 8, just to name a few, goes on to say,
42:39then you get saved by doing that.
42:42By grace, by the grace of God, through faith, that's your part.
42:45You put your faith in that gift, in what he's achieved, and you are saved by grace.
42:51Then it goes on to say, the gift of God washing away our sins and giving us the new joy of
42:57the indwelling Holy Spirit.
42:59What is that about?
43:00Well, it's talking about, and you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,
43:04and you'll be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere.
43:09So what does that mean?
43:11That's talking about the baptism of Holy Spirit and fire.
43:16God does not leave us alone.
43:17Remember, we are spirit beings, and as spirit beings, there is a spiritual world.
43:22There is a spiritual world where there is a war going on between bad, between evil,
43:29and good.
43:30And by the way, we've already won that war.
43:31The Bible says so.
43:32The end is already achieved.
43:34God's not limited by time.
43:35He's already done that, but now that's being manifested through time.
43:41And you have got the choice on which side you want to end up in.
43:45Eternal life with God, forever with Him in heaven, or eternal hell with the devil.
43:53And I'm pretty sure you don't want to go there.
43:57So it's very simple.
43:59Declare with your mouth the Lord Jesus.
44:00Right now, if you're at home, if you're in your car, if you're in the workplace and you're
44:03listening to this message, simply call out to God and say, from this day forward, a simple
44:10prayer like this, from this day forward, Jesus, I give you my life.
44:14I make you my Lord and Savior.
44:16Come wash me clean.
44:18Forgive me of all my sins.
44:22From this day forward, I belong to you.
44:26Use my life for your glory.
44:28And thank you, Father, for raising Jesus from the dead in my place.
44:32Now I'm born again as a new creation in Christ Jesus, in the mighty name of Jesus.
44:38Thank you, Lord.
44:39Amen.
44:40Something simple like that.
44:41You don't have to be a generic prayer.
44:43It has to come from the heart.
44:45You have to mean it.
44:47The matter of the heart is the heart of the matter, or the heart of the matter is the
44:50matter of the heart.
44:51Same thing.
44:52We're going to pray with you for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
44:57The word of God is very clear.
44:58You can do that over and over again.
45:02And we want that.
45:03Amen.
45:04Amen.
45:05Do you want to do that?
45:06You go for it.
45:07All right.
45:09We thank you for this opportunity.
45:10You don't need to repeat.
45:11You just need to receive as a gift.
45:13Thank you for this opportunity, Lord, to pray with our brothers and sisters.
45:17And we are hungry.
45:18We are thirsty.
45:20Many of us are hungry for stability.
45:23So right now, we say, Lord, baptize us with your spirit.
45:28Come on, fill us afresh with your spirit.
45:33Fill us afresh with fire.
45:35Your word says that our God is a consuming fire and your fire, Lord, cannot be consumed.
45:41Your fire cannot.
45:44You consume things, but you cannot be consumed.
45:47Your fire is eternal.
45:49So set us on fire, cause a revival within us, in us and through us, Lord, that wherever
45:56we go, that will spread your fire throughout this world, on earth as it is in heaven.
46:06Come on, Lord, send fire in Jesus name.
46:14Amen.
46:16Glory to God.
46:18Hallelujah.
46:19Welcome back.
46:20Welcome back to the Kingdom family.
46:22Now, some of you may be feeling some symptoms and you're going, what is going on?
46:28Sheki nanana ba khotor wa kandara ba bashi ki roroni.
46:31What am I speaking this gibberish?
46:32That's called speaking in tongues.
46:34It's a holy language.
46:35Don't worry.
46:36You're not, you haven't gone crazy or anything.
46:38It's a great language that God gifts you.
46:41And it's a sign of being baptized in the Holy Spirit.
46:44God gifts you with that language.
46:46And the more you speak that language, the more you'll be strengthened, not, not just
46:50in your spirit, but in your soul and in your body, it's been proven scientists are actually
46:55finding out anyways, go check it out and you see some, some amazing things they're finding
47:02out about even speaking in tongues.
47:05And these are secular people testing people who are speaking tongues and they're finding
47:08amazing results that it actually revitalizes their body.
47:12It regenerates their brain and brain cells and everything's pretty, pretty amazing.
47:17Pretty great.
47:18So use and practice your spiritual language as much as possible.
47:23Don't freak out.
47:24It's normal.
47:25And also some of you may be feeling a heat through your body.
47:28Some of you may be feeling like electricity running through your body.
47:31Some of you may feel like a massive weight just lifted off you.
47:34Just what happened to me as well.
47:36Just a massive weight.
47:37You're like, my Lord, I feel 10 times lighter.
47:40What's going on?
47:41And I feel more happy.
47:42Like, wow, this is a new start.
47:45It is the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
47:48It is God that's come in, into your life.
47:52And guess what?
47:53He's not going to leave you.
47:54The word of God says, though our mother and father may forsake us, I will never forsake
47:58you.
48:00Holy Spirit will never forsake you.
48:01He will live inside of you as the church, as the synagogue, as the indwelling place.
48:05He'll be with you and He'll correct you.
48:07He'll guide you and protect you.
48:09He'll teach you.
48:10He will lead you throughout your amazing life.
48:13Amen?
48:14Amen.
48:15Because you are precious.
48:16Hallelujah.
48:17This brings us to our second part of the program, which is called The Collective, where I spend
48:20time or we spend time praying, prophesying, whatever the Holy Spirit leads us to do.
48:26If you have specific prayer requests, as I always say, write them down on the Facebook
48:30live chat section.
48:31If you're new here today, or you just want to say hi, just drop us a line.
48:37Tell us where you're from.
48:38It's always encouraging.
48:39It's always exciting to hear brothers and sisters around the world listening from different
48:43countries, Egypt, Myanmar, Slovakia, Slovenia, wherever you're from.
48:50Amen?
48:51Amen.
48:52Amen.
48:53Welcome to The Collective.
