01:41Welcome.
01:42Welcome to Lion's Roar 3.8 Ministries.
01:46Amos 3.8 tells us the Lord, the lion has roared, who will not fear?
01:52The Lord God has spoken, who can but prophesy?
01:57Amen.
01:58My name is George Magalianic and we are an apostolic ministry with a prophetic teaching edge.
02:03It is our passion, our mission to reignite, equip and release Christ-like disciples both locally and globally.
02:10We do that through our itinerant ministry, but as well as providing with resources just like this one to help you, to aid you in your God-given calling.
02:19Today, we've got an amazing topic, since we are in the week of Easter, we're going to be discussing the promise of eternal life.
02:29Because he lives, we live also.
02:32Taking us to our main verse today.
02:35And our main verse comes from the book of John, chapter 11, verses 25 to 26.
02:42So, John 11, 25 to 26, and we'll be reading from the Amplified Classic Version, as you can see on the screen.
02:50Jesus said to her,
02:52I am myself the resurrection and the life.
02:57Whoever believes in, adheres to, trusts in, and relies on me, although he may die, yet he shall live.
03:06And whoever continues to live and believes in, has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on me, shall never actually die at all.
03:17Do you believe this?
03:20Wow.
03:21Wow.
03:22We've got Prophet Sabrina with us today, my beautiful wife, and we've got an amazing topic that we're going to be speaking today.
03:29As you just heard, the main verse.
03:32Before we do that, what we're going to do is we're going to pray a little bit.
03:39We're going to praise God together.
03:43We're going to pray.
03:44We're going to wait until more people arrive as well.
03:48And then we're going to deliver this amazing word that we have.
03:51Amen?
03:52Amen.
03:53So, let's check it out and see who's online.
03:57So, so far, we've got Sangeeta's here, Antilata's here, Sister Reshma from Mauritius is here as well.
04:05So, they're the only ones that we can see at the moment.
04:07So, if you're also here watching from anywhere else, let us know where you're from.
04:11Let us know your name.
04:13It's always fun to know that there's other brothers and sisters around the world listening to the word of God, being encouraged.
04:19And share this with others as well.
04:23Share this message.
04:24Today's message is going to be a very good message.
04:27It's going to be exciting.
04:29Important message.
04:30It's very important.
04:31A foundational message.
04:34Today's main topic is the promise of eternal life.
04:38Yes.
04:39It's our Easter message, the promise of eternal life.
04:42So, let me give you an introduction.
04:47So, this week, we celebrate the greatest truth in history.
04:52Jesus Christ is alive.
04:56Jesus Christ is alive.
05:00Jesus Christ is alive.
05:02Why am I saying that?
05:04I'm saying that on purpose.
05:05Just so they get it.
05:09They're listening.
05:11They get it.
05:12Jesus Christ is alive.
05:15It's not my opinion.
05:16It's the truth.
05:17It's a fact.
05:17Jesus Christ is alive.
05:21The empty tomb isn't just a miracle.
05:23It's proof that death is defeated and eternal life is yours today if you accept him.
05:31But here's the question.
05:32Are you living like it?
05:34This is a question for the believers.
05:37Eternal life isn't just about heaven.
05:39It's about walking in resurrection power.
05:43Now, here, right now.
05:46It's peace that crushes anxiety.
05:49Joy that overcomes despair.
05:52A future so secure, even death can't touch it.
05:57And it's all found in Jesus Christ.
06:01Amen.
06:02Amen.
06:03The resurrection and the life.
06:05So today, we're diving deep into what his victory means for you and I.
06:11We'll uncover the following titles.
06:13Number one.
06:15More than a day.
06:16Number two.
06:17Eternal life made available.
06:19Number three.
06:20Kingdom Contrast.
06:21Number four.
06:22The thief on the cross.
06:25Number five.
06:25Do you believe?
06:27Number six.
06:29The declaration.
06:30And number seven.
06:32Prayer.
06:32I think that's what I wrote before.
06:34Number seven is a summary.
06:35Black summer prayer.
06:36Yeah, summary.
06:37All right.
06:37Here we go.
06:38Fire away.
06:39All right.
06:40Number one.
06:41Yes.
06:41More than a day.
06:43More than a day.
06:44I was very excited.
06:46I'm always excited when God talks, when he's, you know, doing a message.
06:50Now, Easter reminds us.
06:51What does Easter remind you?
06:52For me, Easter reminds us that death doesn't get the last word.
06:56Woo-hoo.
06:57So, when Jesus rose from the grave, he opened the door to eternal life, not just for the future, but for right now, like George just said.
07:07His resurrection bring real peace, deep joy, and spiritual strength.
07:13Why for?
07:14To transform lives even today.
07:18So, the key point is today, now, itself, in Jesus' name.
07:23Let's get a Bible verse to confirm it.
07:25John 11, verses 25 to 26.
07:28So, John chapter 11, 25 to 26, and I'm going to be reading from the voice translation now.
07:34I am the resurrection and the source of all life.
07:38Those who believe in me will live even in death.
07:42Everyone who lives and believes in me will never truly die.
07:49Do you believe this?
07:50Wow.
07:50Now, Jesus here is not offering, when he was talking, offering a theory or a nice idea or put some geeks out there like cool data.
08:02No.
08:02He's offering himself.
08:04He's not saying, I know the way to life.
08:07But what he's saying is, I am the life.
08:10He was revealing his divine identity as the one who holds power over the grave.
08:18He was saying to Martha, when George was reading the Bible verse just now, and us as well, at the same time, that resurrection is not a future event alone.
08:29It is a person, and that person is Jesus Christ.
08:33Now, the resurrection is an undeniable proof that God's love is stronger than death.
08:40How wonderful is that?
08:42And that his promises cannot be buried in a tomb.
08:46Think about that.
08:48Jesus did not rise to simply escape death.
08:52Right?
08:53He rose to destroy it once and for all.
08:56And in doing so, he opened the gates of eternal life for all who believes.
09:04The resurrection proved that death is not the end.
09:07I mean, just what I've just said to you guys, if you really understand each line to it, I mean, it speaks quite a bit.
09:17Hallelujah.
09:18So, the resurrection is, let's get a Bible verse to confirm it.
09:24Okay, just before we get to Bible verse, there was something he said very, very powerful.
09:29He opened the gates of eternal life for all who believe.
09:36So, what is the key here?
09:37He opened the gates of eternal life for everyone.
09:40It says for all who believe.
09:43Yes.
09:44Free will.
09:44Belief doesn't come just out of nowhere.
09:49It's not some sort of soup that just came out of nowhere, exploded, and then became monkeys, and whatever other nonsense they say.
09:55No.
09:56Belief comes with a choice.
09:58You choose to believe, and then belief grows.
10:03And in our case, it's not just your choice to believe, but it's also his belief.
10:10He will lay it upon you.
10:11He will give you his faith.
10:13What does that say?
10:14In the Bible.
10:15Well, the Bible tells us it's no longer us that lives, but Christ that lives in us, and the life that we now live, we live by the faith of the Son of God.
10:24By his faith.
10:26Amen.
10:26Because we need his faith.
10:30Our faith is not enough.
10:31Let's be real here.
10:32It's not enough.
10:33We need his faith as well to overcome it.
10:36That's right.
10:37All right, let me give you the Bible verse.
10:401 Corinthians 15.
10:411 Corinthians 15, 20 to 22.
10:44And I'm reading from the Amplified Classic.
10:45But the fact is that Christ, the Messiah, talking about Jesus, obviously, Jesus, obviously, has been raised from the dead.
10:54And he became the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep in death.
11:00But since it was through a man that death came into the world, talking about Adam.
11:06It is also through a man, talking about Jesus, that the resurrection of the dead has come.
11:13For just as because of the union of nature in Adam, all people die.
11:18So also by virtue of their union of nature shall all in Christ be made alive.
11:27What a good news, eh?
11:28What a good news.
11:29Now, that, that itself, I say it's a good news because this phrase in 1 Corinthians is a mighty cry of victory.
11:37Now, Paul calls, this was Paul speaking, calls Jesus the first fruit.
11:41What he means is that Jesus rising from the dead is a promise and proof that we, too, will rise.
11:50Just as a seed must fall to the ground and die to bring forth life, Jesus died and rose again so that we, too, would rise with him.
12:01And not just someday, but now, today.
12:05Amen?
12:06Amen.
12:07All right.
12:07Number two.
12:09Number two.
12:10Do you remember number two?
12:11Eternal life made available.
12:15Eternal life made available.
12:18All right.
12:18Now, in Romans chapter 6, verse 23, it tells us of the greatest exchange in history.
12:24We earn death, but God, rich in mercy, gave us life.
12:30Now, this life is not temporary, not conditional, and not of this world.
12:35It is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12:39Let's get a verse to back it up.
12:40All right.
12:41All right.
12:41Romans 6, verse 23.
12:43Romans 6, 23, and I'm reading from the Amplified Classic.
12:46For the wages which sin pays is death, but the bountiful free gift of God is eternal life through in union with Jesus Christ our Lord.
13:02Amen?
13:03Amen.
13:03Amen.
13:03In union.
13:05So nobody can come and tell you, you know, come, those quantum physics and brain.
13:11I was going to say something, right?
13:13And brain, you know what?
13:15Saying, come, you're going to have it by yourself.
13:17You can move things seriously.
13:18Anyway, let's keep going.
13:20Eternal life is not merely about where we go when we die.
13:25It's about who we belong to while we live.
13:30I will say that again because it's so important.
13:32Just think about it.
13:33Eternal life is not merely about where we go when we die.
13:38It's about who we belong to while we live.
13:45So it's not like, okay, I'll have a good life only when I go to heaven because that's only when the help is there.
13:53The help is here too.
13:54Or it's not like when I was in India.
13:55There was a mission trip which was funny.
14:00And one of the ministers that we were staying with, we noticed that everywhere he went, people were just getting saved left, right, and center.
14:06And we thought either this guy is amazingly anointed or there's something dodgy going on.
14:13He's not saying everything.
14:16And we ended up getting interpretation.
14:18One of us, I can't remember who he was, ended up interpreting it.
14:22And we realized he was just telling people about Jesus and he was allowing people to add Jesus as an extra God.
14:29Now, if you know the Indian background, they've got two million and something gods.
14:33So if they can add two million, they can add two million and one.
14:37That's fine with them.
14:38So they were just adding Jesus as a God.
14:40Now, this is very important because as Sabrina just said right now, it's not about eternal life.
14:49Salvation, in other words, is not about merely where you go when we die.
14:56It's about who we belong to while we live.
14:59So if you add Jesus as just another figurine on your shelf, during the week, you're still going out to nightclubs, you're still drinking, you're still sleeping around, you're still doing all the stuff that Jesus tells you not to do.
15:14You come to Jesus on the weekend, but you still go and do that.
15:19Uh-oh.
15:21Watch out.
15:22So what does that mean?
15:24That means in Jesus, eternity invades the presence, the present, sorry, not presence, present.
15:33The spirit of the risen Christ dwell in us, transforming our earthly lives into testimonies of his eternal love.
15:44Love God, I love how Heidi Baker said it.
15:47The first time I heard it was from Heidi Baker, where she said, love has to look like something.
15:53And with God, you know, in the word of God, it also said that if you do not believe, at least believe in the work that I do.
16:02So what the verse was speaking about is this, that his love, him saying that I am God, is not just about words.
16:10It's about action as well.
16:11So what does it look like, you say?
16:15I'll tell you what it looks like.
16:17It looks like this.
16:18It is a peace that surpasses understanding.
16:22Philippians chapter 4, verse 7.
16:25It is the joy unspeakable and full of glory.
16:291 Peter 1, verses 8 to 9.
16:32Let me read it for you.
16:331 Peter 1, verses 8 to 9.
16:35Without having seen him, you love him, though you do not even now see him.
16:41You believe in him and exalt and thrill with inexpressible and glorious, triumphant, heavenly joy.
16:49At the same time, you receive the result, outcome, consummation of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
16:56What a wonderful verse, my goodness.
16:59It is, what else is it?
17:00It is a power to live victoriously.
17:04Romans chapter 8, verse 11.
17:07It is fellowship with God that begins now and continues forever.
17:13Let me read that for you.
17:14John 17, verse 3.
17:16John 17, 3 in the Amplified Classic.
17:18And this is eternal life.
17:20It means to know, to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand you, the only true and real God.
17:31And likewise, to know him, Jesus, as the Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah, whom you have sent.
17:40Amen.
17:41What else it is?
17:42It's not about religion.
17:44It's about relationships.
17:45It's not about trying, you know, out of your own strengths.
17:49It's about trusting.
17:52Amen.
17:53Amen.
17:54This brings us to number three.
17:56And number three is...
17:59Kingdom Contrast.
18:00I had fun with that one.
18:02Kingdom Contrast.
18:04Wow.
18:05It sounds like a great title.
18:07What does that mean?
18:07Go ahead.
18:08Fire away.
18:08How is the life of a believer different from someone who hasn't yet...
18:15I said yet, because we want all of us to come to Christ.
18:18Yet come to know God.
18:20The Kingdom Contrast.
18:22Believer in Christ, right, has eternal life with God.
18:27John, chapter 17, verse 3.
18:30Whereas non-believers, they are separated from God.
18:352 Thessalonians, chapter 1, verse 9.
18:38The Thessalonians.
18:40Wait, did I say it wrong?
18:42No, just very sexy.
18:44All right.
18:46What else, George?
18:47Concentrate.
18:49Kingdom Contrast.
18:51Kingdom Contrast.
18:52Here we go.
18:53All right.
18:54Believer in Christ.
18:57Believer in Christ.
18:59Has peace and hope beyond death.
19:04This is so important.
19:06Where do we see that?
19:07Well, amongst other verses, you can see that clearly in Philippians 1, verse 21.
19:13A non-believer, well, let's be real here.
19:15We've all been there.
19:16Non-believer has fear and uncertainty.
19:19And that's found in Hebrews 10, verses 26 to 27.
19:24Right.
19:25So, believer in Christ, what we have, the contrast is, indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
19:33You can find in lots of verses, but we're going to use Romans, chapter 8, verse 11.
19:38Whereas non-believers, they are spiritual emptiness.
19:43Right?
19:44It's like dead man walking, is what I call it.
19:46Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 12.
19:50All right.
19:51And another one.
19:52Let me give you another one.
19:54Believers in Christ have assurance and identity.
19:59You have an identity.
20:00We've got an identity issue in the world, big time.
20:03Now, so believers in Christ have assurance and identity.
20:06You can see that in Romans 8, verse 1, and Romans 8, 16 to 17.
20:15That wasn't done properly.
20:17Anyway.
20:19All right.
20:20What do non-believers have?
20:21They have judgment without Christ, whether they believe it or not.
20:25Yep.
20:26Judgment is coming.
20:28John 3, verse 18.
20:30Hallelujah.
20:31All right.
20:32I'm not saying hallelujah to judgment.
20:33I was kidding.
20:34You're like, what are you saying?
20:36I'm not saying hallelujah to God.
20:38All right, George.
20:40All right.
20:40Here we go.
20:41Next one.
20:42Next one.
20:42Number four.
20:43Number four is the thief on the cross.
20:47Yes.
20:48You guys aren't really.
20:51How can you be ministers and be laughing?
20:53Hallelujah.
20:55Thus shall not laugheth.
20:57Seriously, man.
20:59You must enjoy the word of God.
21:01You must relax.
21:02You must have fun with the word of God without being disrespectful.
21:07But enjoy the presence of God.
21:09Enjoy God.
21:10God is a big God.
21:12He's got a sense of humor.
21:14He's not dry as those.
21:16Okay.
21:16What do you call those Mauritian biscuits we saw in that documentary?
21:19Man, that looked so dry.
21:20Man, you're not.
21:21Yeah.
21:21Oh, yeah.
21:23Come on.
21:23Seriously, there's better stuff out there to drink with your tea, people.
21:27That looks so dry.
21:29Like you're eating sand from the Sahara Desert.
21:33Anyways.
21:34Number four.
21:34We're way off topic now.
21:36Number four.
21:37The thief on the cross.
21:39Let's not forget what happened on the cross before Jesus declared, it is finished.
21:43Now, he was there between two thieves, offering hope and redemption even in his final moments.
21:50One was mocking while the other knew he needed God.
21:54This man had no chance.
21:55The person who knew that he needed God, he had no chance to fix his past.
22:01No religious resume.
22:04Just a desperate heart and a mustard seed of faith.
22:07He didn't have time to say, let me get a good clothes.
22:09Let me come all free.
22:10Let me, you know, one might stay.
22:16But Sabrina, he's already on the cross.
22:17Yes.
22:18But he has thoughts even while he's on the cross.
22:21He must have been swearing because he's been put on the cross while he's waiting there.
22:25He didn't have time to say, let me correct my thought.
22:27Repent already.
22:28Do all those things quickly, quickly, quickly before I say, please take me.
22:33Right?
22:33Jesus didn't reject him.
22:35He welcomed him home.
22:37That's grace.
22:38That's Easter.
22:40Let's get a verse to back this up.
22:42Okay.
22:42Luke 23, Luke chapter 23, verses 42 to 43 in the Amplified Classic.
22:49Then he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come in your kingly glory.
22:55And he answered him, truly I tell you, today you shall be with me in paradise.
23:00Hallelujah.
23:01Right.
23:01Let me correct something I just said.
23:03So, I mean, he didn't have time to correct his thoughts.
23:07But the way he said, remember me, was his repentance for those who hear that.
23:12See, God just told me you said it wrong.
23:15Not only that, did you notice in the verse how I read it?
23:18Read it again.
23:19You read it out.
23:20Yes.
23:21Read it.
23:22I am.
23:24Love you.
23:27Luke chapter 23, verse 42 to 43, Ampc.
23:31Then he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come in your kingly glory.
23:37Bam.
23:38There it is.
23:41Lord, remember me when you come in your kingly glory.
23:47He was on the cross.
23:48He was a thief.
23:49And up until then, up until that moment when he opened his mouth and he said, Lord, and
23:55he said, your kingly glory, who was his Lord?
24:01Himself, whatever he decided to do.
24:04From that moment he opened his mouth, he declared Jesus as Lord.
24:09And he said, in your kingly glory.
24:11So he made a choice to believe and make Jesus his Lord, first of all.
24:16So he basically gave his life to Christ on that cross.
24:21He done it right there and then.
24:24And that's why Jesus answered him the way he did.
24:26Truly, I tell you, today you shall be with me in paradise.
24:31There it is.
24:32Amen.
24:33Amen.
24:34So remember what I said.
24:35He didn't think he saw it, but he repented.
24:39And he's in heaven.
24:41Amen.
24:41Number five.
24:42Do you believe?
24:44This is an eternal question.
24:47When Jesus stood before Martha, grief is stricken at the death of her brother Lazarus.
24:54He offered not just comfort.
24:56Jesus did not just offer comfort, but a call to faith or of faith, if you want to say it.
25:02He didn't ask her if she understood.
25:04He asked if she believed.
25:07And then she saw the breakthrough.
25:09If you read the whole story, it's found in John 11.
25:13He is asking us the same today.
25:16Do you believe that I am the resurrection?
25:19Do you believe that in me, life wins over death?
25:24It's a personal decision, a surrender.
25:26If you already believe and walk in that eternal hope, let it shape how you live, how you love, and how you lead others to Jesus Christ.
25:37If you haven't yet said yes to Christ Jesus, now is your time.
25:43Right?
25:44The cross was for you, is for you.
25:47The resurrection was for you, is for you now.
25:51Eternal life is available today.
25:54Let's pray.
25:57All right.
25:58So all you have to do, all you have to do is out of your own heart, is mean it.
26:07So you have to cry out to God.
26:09Let me, before we pray together, let me bring it up for you on the screen.
26:13Romans 10 verses 9 to 10 is probably the best verse that you can remember because it says very clearly what you need to do.
26:21You need to confess with your mouth to the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead and you will be saved.
26:30Not might be, you will be saved.
26:33For with a heart man believeth unto righteousness and with a mouth confession is made unto salvation.
26:39So we're going to, sorry, we're going to be praying now together.
26:46It's not a generic prayer, but we're going to do it together just so you get the idea, just so you understand.
26:55And we can do that at the end as well if there's more people coming along the way.
26:58So you would say along these lines, you would say, Jesus, I believe you are the resurrection and the life.
27:08I believe you died for my sins and rose again.
27:14I receive the gift of eternal life.
27:18Now, I turn from my old ways and trust in you because you live, I will live also.
27:30Thank you, Jesus.
27:32I am yours forever.
27:34Amen.
27:34A simple prayer like that.
27:37Now, I know if you're religious, you're going to get into this and you're going to, what about the blood?
27:42What about the repentance of sin?
27:44What about, what about, what about, what?
27:45What do you think the God just did on the cross?
27:47It comes from your heart.
27:48What did the thief on the cross do?
27:50He didn't mention any of those things.
27:52He didn't have to repeat a specific prayer.
27:55But what he said, he covered it all in what he said.
27:59And that's what you need to do.
28:00You need to cry out to God from the bottom of your heart and mean it, and you will be saved.
28:06All right, let's continue.
28:07So if you've just prayed that, welcome to eternal life.
28:11You've stepped out of death into life.
28:14Amen.
28:15You've just said yes to resurrection power.
28:18Eternal life isn't far away, guys.
28:20It's here.
28:20It's Jesus.
28:21And because he lives, your fear has to go.
28:25Your shame has to bow.
28:26And your future is forever secure.
28:29Why do I say that?
28:30Because he's not going to just leave you like that, right?
28:32He's going to guide you in the path of his righteousness for his name's sake.
28:36So walk in that truth.
28:38Live with resurrection joy.
28:40And let your life shout out what the tomb, did I say it right?
28:45What the tomb could not hold.
28:47He is not there.
28:48He is risen.
28:50Luke chapter 24, verse 6.
28:52To God be all the glory.
28:55All right.
28:56Number six.
28:57Number six is declaration.
29:00We're going to be doing a declaration prayer.
29:04Amen?
29:04Amen.
29:04All right.
29:06As usual, we're going to be declaring these words.
29:10I encourage you to do them afterwards.
29:12On your own, you can go back, you can write them down, or you can just repeat after us.
29:16But now, just listen to them and just receive it.
29:21Amen?
29:22Amen.
29:22All right.
29:24Declaration.
29:25I believe in the power of the resurrection.
29:30I declare that Jesus is alive, and because he lives, I live also.
29:37I have eternal life, not because of who I am, but because of what Christ has done.
29:44Death has lost its sting, and the grave has no victory.
29:51I am a child of God, and my future is secure in Jesus Christ.
29:58Thank you, Lord, for yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
30:03In Jesus' name.
30:04Amen.
30:05Amen.
30:07All right.
30:07Leaving us to number seven.
30:09And number seven is our summary.
30:11So, let me give you a summary of what we covered today.
30:17Amen?
30:18All right.
30:19So, today we've witnessed the unshakable truth.
30:24Easter isn't just a day, as we said at the beginning.
30:27It's the foundation of our hope.
30:30Jesus didn't just rise from the grave.
30:33He is the resurrection and the life.
30:35John 11, verse 25.
30:37His victory means, number one.
30:41All right.
30:41Eternal life isn't distant.
30:43It's yours today.
30:44Through him, we have peace, joy, and the Spirit's power right now.
30:48Romans 8, 11.
30:50Number two.
30:51The thief on the cross proved that salvation is by grace alone.
30:56No resume, no religion, just Jesus.
31:00Luke 23, verse 43.
31:03Number three.
31:04The kingdom contrast is clear.
31:07In Christ, we are alive forever.
31:09Without him, eternity is lost.
31:11John 3, verse 18.
31:13Number four.
31:13He's asking you now.
31:16Do you believe?
31:18John 11, verse 26.
31:20Your answer changes everything.
31:24Now, this isn't just theory.
31:27It's your reality.
31:28Go live it in Jesus' name.
31:30Amen.
31:32Amen.
31:32All right.
31:33Thank you, Jesus, for your living word.
31:34All right.
31:35If you just arrived, if you haven't listened to this word, if you did not go through this
31:40study today with us from the beginning, I want to give you the chance once again, because
31:44this is a divine appointment.
31:46This is no coincidence that you're listening to this.
31:48If you have not made Jesus your Lord and Savior, this is your time.
31:51The word of God is very clear amongst many other verses.
31:54But 1 John 5, verses 4 to 5 tells us very clearly that for whatever is born of God, overcomes
32:02the world.
32:03We all go through troubles, ups and downs.
32:06And God promises us, even when we do get saved, that we will still endure troubles and even
32:12more persecution.
32:14However, we will overcome it.
32:16Amen.
32:16We're living from victory, not towards victory anymore.
32:20So if you want to overcome it, the word of God goes on to say, who is he who overcomes
32:25the world?
32:27But he who believes that Jesus is the son of God.
32:32This is so, so important that we remember this, because there are religions out there claiming
32:38to be even Christian religions, but they don't believe that Jesus is the son of God.
32:44That is not Christianity.
32:46Jesus is the son of God.
32:48Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life.
32:50If you don't believe this simple and most important foundation in Christianity, you're not
32:56a Christian.
32:58It's the truth.
32:59And by the way, the truth is not relevant.
33:02It's not whatever you feel like it.
33:04The truth is a person, Jesus Christ.
33:07He's the truth.
33:08Amen.
33:09Amen.
33:09The word of God goes on to tell us that in John 3, 16 to 17, for God so loved the world
33:15that he gave his only begotten son, talking about Jesus Christ, that whoever believes
33:19in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
33:22But God did not send his son, Jesus, into the world to condemn the world, but that the
33:28world through him might be saved.
33:30That might is talking about your free will.
33:33That free will that you take to reject him is the free will that he gave you.
33:39And that's the only reason why you see might there.
33:41Not because he might forgive you.
33:44No.
33:45But because you might accept him or you might not.
33:48That's where the might lies on your part.
33:50That's right.
33:511 John 1 verse 9 goes on to say, if we confess our sins, he's faithful and just to forgive
33:59us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
34:02He doesn't put all these 10,000 hurdles, as the world says, and you have to jump through
34:06every single one of them and not touch any of them.
34:08Otherwise, you won't be saved.
34:09He said, if you confess your sins and sins in the most simplistic definition is when
34:15humanity, when we try to live our lives without God, we were not made to live without him.
34:21In fact, out of all creation, as I say every single week, the only creation out of all
34:27of the universe that was created in his image was humanity, was us.
34:31We were created in his image.
34:32That's how special, how unique, how important we are to God.
34:38Now, if we are created in his image and God is spirit, then we are spirit beings with a
34:43body and a soul.
34:44We are not human beings as the world claims to be.
34:48That's just a form of rebellion.
34:50That's just a rebellious ideology that has been indoctrinated in society, in the secular
34:57world.
34:58The reality, the truth, whether you like it or not, it's the truth, is that we are made
35:05in God's image.
35:06We are made in connection with God.
35:08And as such, when we try to live our lives without him, we are committing a sin.
35:12That's what sin is about.
35:14Sin isn't just doing something the world considers as bad.
35:18Sin is living without God.
35:19It starts there.
35:20That's sin.
35:21And that separates you from salvation.
35:24That separates you from God himself.
35:26So what do you need to do?
35:27You need to do what we've done before.
35:29Let me bring that up again, just so you can see it on the screen, as we've done before.
35:33I encourage you to do it again.
35:34We're going to be praying with you.
35:36Romans 10, verse 9 to 10 talks about that.
35:38And then, as you can see down there, there's Titus 3, verse 5, Ephesians 2, verse 8, Acts
35:441, verse 8, goes on to talk about something else.
35:48And that is what we call in the Christian circles, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
35:53Because then you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God
35:57raised him from the dead, you are saved.
35:58From that moment forward, you are saved.
36:01By grace, through faith.
36:02But then it goes on to say, and you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
36:08And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere.
36:12What is that?
36:12That is the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
36:15That's when you invite the very Spirit of God, God himself, to come and live inside of you.
36:22And in the Catholic Church, we used to say, I remember as a kid in Portugal, they say,
36:26oh, Jesus lives in your heart.
36:29That's a pretty thing they say to little kids.
36:31But it's not that.
36:32It's Holy Spirit will come inside of you.
36:34He will live in you.
36:36You become the temple of the Holy Spirit.
36:38That's what the Word of God tells us.
36:40The synagogue, the church, whatever you want to call it, is indwelling place.
36:44And he comes bearing gifts, spiritual gifts that he wants to teach you and guide you and
36:49lead you throughout life.
36:51We need him every moment of our lives.
36:54Amen?
36:54Amen.
36:55So let's pray together.
36:56Lord, I thank you for our brothers and sisters.
36:58I thank you for those who have given their lives, even those that are giving their lives
37:03to God right now as we speak.
37:05Thank you, Lord.
37:06The heaven is rejoicing over their souls for the world made in your image.
37:11And you love them dearly as you love us, Lord.
37:14So, Lord, we thank you and we invite you as your Word showed us, as your Word reveals
37:19to us.
37:20Now, anytime we like, we can call upon your Spirit to just be refilled, refreshed by baptism
37:27of your Spirit and fire.
37:29So we call for fire.
37:31Fire represents power.
37:32Fire represents revival.
37:35Authority.
37:36Your glory.
37:37Glorious presence, Lord.
37:38So we pray for fire.
37:40For our God is a consuming fire.
37:42Lord, set us a light.
37:44Set us on fire.
37:45A revival fire that cannot be quenched.
37:50And guide us to fulfill the commission that you've called for your church, for the body
37:54of Christ to fulfill in this world.
37:57No matter what, Jesus is Lord.
38:02We belong to you, Lord.
38:05Use our lives for your glory.
38:06In Jesus' name.
38:07Amen and amen.
38:10Glory to God.
38:11Hallelujah.
38:14Lord, we decree and declare 1 Corinthians 15, 57.
38:20We thank you, Lord, for giving us victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed
38:26One.
38:27All right.
38:28Matthew 6, 33.
38:30My eyes are so dry.
38:31We will seek first your kingdom and your righteousness.
38:37All these things, all our needs will be provided.
38:40We decree Galatians 5, verse 1.
38:43It was for freedom that Christ set us free.
38:45Therefore, we will keep standing firm and not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
38:50Galatians 5, 22.
38:53We will live in the Spirit and we will follow you.
38:56Grow, produce everlasting fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
39:01gentleness, and self-control.
39:03We decree Philippians 3, 14, 16, that we will run straight for the divine invitation of reaching
39:09the heavenly goal and gaining the victory prize through the anointing of Jesus.
39:14As we fully mature, may we all have this same passion.
39:18And if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God, reveal it to them.
39:23For we shall all advance together to reach this victory prize following one path with
39:30one passion.
39:31In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.
39:34Amen and amen.
39:35God bless you all.
39:37Have a wonderful Easter.
39:38Enjoy.
39:39Rejoice.
39:41Praise Jesus for this wonderful time.
39:43And we will see you next week.
39:45Amen.
39:45Amen.
39:46Shalom, shalom.
39:48Shalom, shalom.
39:51Shalom.
40:18Shalom.
41:18We're right back.
