In the United States, former president and republican candidate Donald Trump was wounded at a campaign rally in the state of Pennsylvania after several gunshots were fired.
U.S. Secret Service reported two people were killed, a spectator of the rally and the shooter, who was neutralized on a rooftop in an adjacent building to the raly grounds. Authorities also reported that two other attendees are critically injured. The Secret Service said the former president is safe after he was rushed off the rally stage with blood on his face.

00:03Donald Trump was wounded at a campaign rally in the state of Pennsylvania after several
00:08gunshots were fired. The U.S. Secret Service reported two people were killed, a spectator
00:12of the rally and the shooter, who was neutralized on a rooftop in an adjacent building to the
00:17rally grounds. Authorities also reported that two other attendees are critically injured.

00:27stage with blood on his face. According to law enforcement officials, the shooting is
00:31being investigated as an attempted assassination.
00:39And after the shooting at the campaign event where President and candidate Donald Trump
00:42was wounded, some witnesses reported seeing a man walking on a rooftop, which they reported
00:47to the authorities.
00:49I was up at the fence line, saw the guy move from roof to roof, talked, told an officer
00:57that he was on the roof. The officer come looking, I went back to him, heard that there
01:06was somebody that could see the person. So I went back to where they were standing, saw
01:12the person, went back and told the officer again that if he goes back to that particular
01:17spot, he can see the person, figuring that he would go on radio. And when I turned around
01:22to go back to where I was is when the gunshots started. And then it was just chaos and we
01:29all came running away.
01:35The FBI identified the shooter who attacked former President Donald Trump as 20-year-old
01:39Thomas Matthew Crooks, a white man originally from Bethel Park in the state of Pennsylvania.
01:45According to several U.S. media, Crooks was registered as a Republican voter. Images of
01:50the attacker shooting from a rooftop 137 meters away from the Republican candidate spread
01:55in social media. So far, the subject motivations are unknown. Also, it is still not clear if
02:00the shooter acted alone or had accomplices.
02:07Former President Donald Trump arrived after midnight at a Newark airport in New Jersey
02:11and got off his private plane in apparent condition. It is unknown if the former president
02:16will have any activity this Sunday. His campaign team has already confirmed that his presence
02:21is expected on Monday at the Republican Convention in Milwaukee, where the party will formalize
02:26its candidacy for the elections.
