00:00The entire detail of the Reciprocal Access Agreement, or RAA, was planned

00:05which was signed by the Philippines and Japan on Monday.

00:08But in the exclusive interview of GMA Integrated News,

00:11to the Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines, Endo Kazuya,

00:15he gave a glimpse of the contents of the agreement.

00:18The RAA will pave the way for the entry of Japanese soldiers in the country.

00:23And if the Japanese servicemen break the law,

00:27they will help the Philippines in pursuing them.

00:32Under RAA, the authorities of Japan and the Philippines

00:37shall assist each other in the arrest of members of the visiting forces

00:44in the receiving states.

00:46And in handing them over to the authority,

00:49which is to exercise jurisdiction.

00:53China's statement that Japan should not be involved in the issue in the West Philippine Sea

00:59Ambassador Endo said that this is a legitimate issue in the entire region.

01:03It is important that they support the country that respects the rule of law in the waters.

01:08Earlier, Ambassador Endo visited the GMA Network.
