00:00That's the secret behind the perfect roti canai made by Kelvin Liao, the master behind

00:21Every morning at 6.30am, customers eagerly line up at restaurant Siang Kopitiam in Johor
00:27Baru, drawn by Liao's renowned roti canai.
00:31On a good day, Liao sells up to 500 pieces of this crispy, fluffy Malaysian breakfast
00:38staple.
00:40But mastering roti canai wasn't easy.
00:42He started learning from his father over two decades ago when he was 15, initially as a
00:47casual skill so he could help at his dad's stall.
00:52When his father retired, however, 17-year-old Liao wholeheartedly took on the challenge.
01:06Now he experiments with various flour mixes to refine and enhance his father's original
01:12recipe.
01:13Liao's dedication to his craft has made Siang Kopitiam a must-visit destination for roti
