00:00Hi, my name is Sam Quine, East Lancashire Reporter for the Lancashire Post, and I'm
00:05in Osselt Whistle where residents have been sharing their words of support for Jay Slater
00:10and his family.
00:11So what kind of words would you like to offer Jay and his family at this time?
00:15I'd just like to hope he's found safe and well, and no injuries.
00:21I just hope everything turns out positive and he's found safely.
00:27He's a friend of Sebastian's and he played for Uncaught United for about 11 years together.
00:34And it's sad news at the moment, fingers crossed.
00:38Hi, yeah Debbie, I'm really sorry to hear about Jay's missing.
00:42I just want to assure you that ourselves, myself and our church, Union Road Community
00:47Church, we've been praying for you and for Jay's safe return and we will continue until
00:52we hear something.
00:53So, you know, we are keeping you in our prayers and just want a good outcome.
00:58So, you know, God bless you.
01:00I really hope we find him, it's a shame.
01:04I wouldn't like it to happen to anybody, not even my own kids.
01:08But I hope we do find him safe and well.
01:12I just wish the family all the very best and I just hope and pray there's a good outcome.
01:20He's in a hostile part of the world as much as the surroundings are concerned because
01:26it's so volcanic, it's tenuous.
01:29But I just hope and pray that they find him.
