00:00It's funny because obviously we've recognised a 10th place finish last season,
00:04but I don't get the impression the mood amongst the fans is that different really,
00:09and obviously North End are 18th, 17th, wherever,
00:11but they're almost the exact opposite, aren't they?
00:13Because performances weren't ideal last season,
00:16but they were taking chances, extremely clinical,
00:19whereas now they're passing the eye test a lot more,
00:21but struggling in that final third, aren't they?
00:24Yeah, we've obviously championed the fact that they were propelled
00:29in the first six weeks of the season with the wins,
00:32the clean sheets and the goals of Will Keane.
00:34I do believe that Will Keane will have a spell during this season
00:37where he'll be a match winner, hopefully on a few occasions,
00:40which will obviously help the team.
00:41He'll obviously have to get back in the team first,
00:45so I think that'll be fine.
00:48I do look at the teams underneath them in the division,
00:50and I don't follow them, but I don't see progress,
00:53and I definitely saw enough in that performance at weekend
00:56to suggest that they've got more than enough to get themselves up the table.
01:01The worry is, if it counts for anything at all,
01:05is notoriously there has been a little bit of a drop-off
01:08in the second half of the season.
01:10Now, if they get that, then that would be a concern,
01:14especially the position they're in now.
01:16I just think the supporters just see a working-class manager
01:21with humility that is doing his best with the players at the moment,
01:25but I think there would be obviously a message,
01:28or not a cry for help, but a message hopefully shared by everybody
01:33that the same players need to keep getting better,
01:35keep working hard, but it does need some assistance now
01:39via some fresh faces and new players,
01:42and hopefully ones that can come straight in the team and impact.
01:46Yeah, if you had the choice in January,
01:48where would you be looking to add?
01:50It's never really the time to be making wholesale changes,
01:52but you get the impression they might look for a couple.
01:55Obviously, you've mentioned the wide areas and people playing out of position.
01:58Would you go and get somebody that can really do a role there?
02:01Because one, they signed in the summer,
02:03wasn't even in the squad on Saturday in Hock Hills.
02:06Yeah, I would get a left-footed, left-back, left-winger.
02:13Obviously, Brady's out, isn't he?
02:14Yeah, so I'd get a genuine one from there,
02:18and hopefully Brady comes fit,
02:19and then you've got two players fighting for one shirt.
02:22I haven't really got any real concern with Brad Potts ever playing in that position,
02:26and him and Kessler-Hayden could share that challenge on the other side.
02:33And obviously, I think there has to be an emphasis now on the team scoring more goals.
02:42And obviously, if you get a quality left-winger,
02:45you possibly see Greenwood less on that left-wing perch,
02:50although it was great what he was doing there.
02:53That will allow him to be a centre-forward
02:55and not have to go to the left-wing to perform,
02:57because you haven't got one.
02:59And then you can keep him in the box,
03:00and hopefully he can get some penalty area finishes like Keane gets.
