00:00You start yesterday in Indianapolis, the fever for the first time this year, when two consecutive
00:09games back to back 9183, the victory for Indiana at home yesterday over Chicago, the fever
00:16cover as a two and a half point home favorite behind a sensational game from both Caitlin
00:22Clark and Aaliyah Boston, J Y two straight wins for Indiana, four wins in their last
00:29six games. Overall, what have the fever figured out? Well, number one, Ben, they've gotten
00:35to practice. I mean, let's be honest, they got to play together a little bit instead
00:40of playing game off game, off game, game off game, you know, so they've gotten the ability
00:45to practice and that's important for a player like Caitlin Clark. To me, the bigger thing
00:51is the establishment of the pick and roll of the play between Caitlin Clark and Aaliyah
00:56Boston. Aaliyah Boston, let's be honest folks, was not very good to start the year. I smashed
01:01over her point probably yesterday, which is 13 and a half and Aaliyah Boston, it's playing
01:06markedly better the last couple of games, scoring 14 or more points in her last three
01:13games, double double in three straight games. She only had one double double before that.
01:18So Aaliyah Boston has gotten better. And I think what that does is this, if you're able
01:22to run a pick and roll with Boston and she's rolling to the basket and she's finishing,
01:26but you're getting better play out of Smith. You're getting better play out of Mitchell.
01:30Now Caitlin Clark can pick and choose her spots. And if you look at it, Ben, she came
01:35out early firing seven points in the first quarter, did not panic, two shots in the second
01:40quarter, Ben, allowed the game to come to her. And then she started to open up in the
01:46third quarter with the threes, but also the ability to get to the basket as she played
01:51well, almost got a triple double. And you look at the flip side with Angel Reese, 11
01:55points, 13 rebounds. I'm going to say this very easy, Angel. Okay. I'm going to, I'm
01:58going to talk to you as a coach, do me a favor. When you drop step, don't drop step to the
02:04corner and flail yourself all out of there. And then look to the referees for a foul call.
02:09You go up to them, you put your shoulder into their chest and you finish strong. The reason
02:14why you were not getting fouls had nothing to do with Caitlin Clark. It had to do with
02:18the fact that you were not finishing strong enough. You cannot be 413 from the floor and
02:24shoot nearly all those shots from the paint. Finish better, try to score instead of just
02:29trying to draw a foul. And then you will get the fouls you want to get.
