00:00This Budget is about doing what matters for Queensland now through cost of living relief while building the Queensland we all deserve.
00:08It's a Budget that does what matters for Queensland now and for the future.
00:12Now the focus is on cost of living and on health, a massive boost.
00:17Certainly the DP&I wish we got 11% health, but it increases when we were in health.
00:23So $29 billion for health, but all of those cost of living measures, $1,000 rebates, 50 cent fares, $200 fare play, vouchers, 20% cut to reg or all other fees and charges, frozen,
00:37as well as effectively abolishing stamp duty for first home buyers up to $700,000.
00:43And for the future, those big down payments on the renewable energy projects, that will allow us to achieve our goals of retaining our jobs in heavy industry and attracting more industry off the back of net zero emissions.
00:58So I think the DP&I has done a fantastic job delivering a Budget that meets the ambitions that I set out when I became the Premier.
