00:00 Obviously a big win for our man, how good does that feel to come up here to Derry and win with 11 points in the end?
00:05 Yeah, no it's any day, any day you cross the white line and you come away with a win, a county level regardless if it's a friendly or a championship match or a league match, it's massive.
00:15 So no, we're happy to get the win here and you know, luck, it's a quick turnaround so we have a game in two weeks so we just have to recover hard here.
00:23 Do you feel as though you're at your best today or close to that level?
00:26 Yeah, I suppose we probably hit the crossbar in the first couple of minutes and stuff, or in the first half and we had a couple of balls that went wide and stuff but no, luck, we're building so luck, it's obviously a different competition, the All-Ireland Series so we want to try and kick on and give it everything we've got.
00:43 And for yourself personally, how good does it feel to get good, solid championship minutes out there today?
00:47 Yeah, it's a long enough road back there, no I'm delighted to be back but as I say I've been pushing hard in training so the competition for places is fierce so it's hard to slip in and when you slip in you want to take your opportunity because as you see there's some top class lads on the bench there that aren't even getting game time and you know, the way we have it is you come on, you do your job and you get off and that's what it is like but no, it's good to get minutes in and obviously it's good to get the win.
01:16 And obviously it's only three weeks since the Ulster Final loss, that was another heartbreaking one but do you feel like now you've parked that, you've put that in the rear view mirror and you're looking forward now?
01:24 Yeah, I suppose that was a tough one to take back to back two years in a row, beating penalties but no, look we're only human too, you get back to training on Tuesday night and you just try and have a bit of fun and a bit of enjoyment and look, you do a lot of sacrificing and you go out of the house so you want to try and do your best.
01:43 There's no point leaving the house for a couple of hours to mess about and fart about, you might as well try and give it everything so no, it was good to get back and we get back to training and in fairness it's the competition that's been healthy so we trained hard and look we learnt so obviously we just want to keep trying and improving.
02:02 You know, we're not the finished article so we just have to keep trying and improving and keep getting better.
02:07 Last question then, you've got Galway next, they won today so between you and Galway now it's going to be a battle for the top spot and that's going to be a great game to look forward to isn't it?
02:14 Yeah, look Galway's obviously their top class team, they're some unbelievable players so we'll just knuckle down again.
02:19 This is Sunday, we'll be back to training on Tuesday just like that so these wins come quick and fast, they come quick and fast so you've just got to recover hard and get back to training on Tuesday because as I said the competition is fierce so you have to be at your best every night.
