A teenager woke up blind weeks after meeting her new boyfriend - and said it made them "much closer". Kitty Hinde, 19, has been visually impaired most of her life after being diagnosed with glaucoma - which damages the optic nerve - when she was nine.
She had several treatments - included a cornea transplant - to stop her losing her vision.

Just weeks after meeting now-boyfriend Sam, 22, Kitty woke up blind and hasn't had her vision back since - but says Sam has supported her every step of the way.

00:51I know my shit. I'm blind, I'm just a genius. Which nostril do I have?
00:56This one.
01:01Story time. So I'm blind. How did that happen? I was born pretty
01:07normal. I had glasses from the age of about seven and then when I was nine
01:13I was diagnosed with glaucoma and had surgery two months after that diagnosis.
01:18Sam is here now.
01:21After that diagnosis, my life became a little bit different. I was in a hospital all the time. I wasn't going to school.
01:27I lost all my friends.
01:29Anyway, as soon as I started integrating back into school life when I was about 14,
01:34then they discovered that my cornea was deteriorating in my right eye. I then had a surgery.
01:39I then had a transplant and that's for the cornea,
01:42which is like the front of the eye and that was really successful and it gave me some vision back and it was amazing.
01:48And then it rejected three years later.
01:51And then I lost my vision in my right eye.
01:54So right eye, boom, out of the picture. Losing my vision in my left eye for the past two years.
02:01The way I lost that was very difficult.
02:04It started off one day,
02:05I slept a really long amount of time and then I woke up and I couldn't see and it just started off with like, I
02:11would get one day like that every few months and then it would be every couple months, every month, every week, every day.
02:18It was a really difficult way to lose my vision because every time I felt like I was adapting to being blind,
02:22Jesus had to remind me how sad everything is.
02:27But there is hope. Doctors do want to do a transplant in my left eye and that could give me a little bit of vision back.
02:35However, it's not something they can do at the moment.
02:37For everyone saying that she's not blind.
02:39I'm on the lift with this other couple.
02:41Racing that other wedding couple.
02:43No, wait.
02:45Do I just start the episode again?
02:47Rewind.
02:49Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh.
02:51Why am I looking like I'm at another wedding?
02:53Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh.
02:55Right, you're going to have to explain that to me again.
02:59Eight months into the engagement.
03:01Game-changing emergency.
03:03Got it.
03:05I remember all of this more because it's a good bit.
03:07Do you remember these?
03:09Can't see.
03:11I'm Valerie with that couple.
03:13Pardon, Valerie.
03:15It's a video description.
03:17All the worst couples have a really ugly man in them.
03:19Wait, where are we now?
03:21Is it a different time?
03:23He's an idiot.
03:25I hate him.
03:27Wait, what was awkward?
03:29Wait, say that again.
03:31I can't imagine that.
03:33What's going on?
03:35Where's my water?
03:37Where is it?
03:39I feel like a superhero sometimes.
