00:11 What beast have we got here, it's Will. [Laughs]
00:14 Hello Will, how you doing?
00:16 Good thanks.
00:16 We're here down at, not who, who, Dinosaur World.
00:20 Who's New in Dinosaur World.
00:21 Who's New in Dinosaur World, yes we are, of course we are.
00:23 And a brand new attraction for people, for families, just fill us in on what Land of the Beast is all about then Will.
00:29 Yeah, so Land of the Beast is like a new extension of our dinosaur walkthrough.
00:34 But this really takes you through what came after the dinosaurs.
00:38 So the creature that's behind me is the Andrewsarchus and then you sort of move forward from there,
00:43 sort of through the period that doesn't really get talked about until you get into like the Ice Ages and stuff like that.
00:50 So it's quite informative and educational as well with it isn't it really?
00:53 Yeah, I mean that's...
00:53 It's quite interesting.
00:54 Yeah, exactly, that's something that we've really tried our best to sort of nail really, is keeping it fun.
01:01 Whilst obviously at the same time educational and informative and you know, really sort of educates people about the fact that these animals did exist and they did eventually go extinct.
01:10 So what's this fellow here then, what did you say he's called?
01:13 Yeah, so he's called Andrewsarchus.
01:15 Well I mean, I can't say I've seen one of them before.
01:19 No, so yeah, again they're from that sort of period of history, yeah not too long after the dinosaurs went extinct where everything was just kind of going a bit mad and you had all these sort of weird and different beasts evolve.
01:31 And yeah, the Andrewsarchus, even though it looks obviously very wolf-like and dog-like, was actually closely related to horses.
01:36 Wow, and there's a few motion sensors, so as families walk around with their little kiddies there might be a few surprises as they kind of approach the beasts.
01:44 Yeah, exactly that, yeah, so all of them are animatronic and they move as you go through.
01:49 There are motion sensors hidden around, so yeah, it'll give everyone a bit of a surprise.
01:55 And we should say, we're plugging the big event this Sunday?
01:58 Yes, this is Saturday and Sunday, yes.
02:01 We've got Nigel Marvin.
02:03 TV's Nigel Marvin.
02:04 TV's Nigel Marvin, you might remember from Walking with Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Park.
02:09 He's visiting us to do the formal opening of Land of the Beasts and he'll also be here doing some Q&As and watching back episodes of Prehistoric Park and sort of commenting on them as well.
02:19 That's quite a catch then to get him down here, isn't it?
02:22 Yeah, we're really excited. He came and did an event for us last year and has also done some videos for us on our dinosaurs which you can find on our website.
02:31 But yeah, Nigel's been sort of a great ambassador if you like for us.
02:35 Cool, and so is he down here on both days is he?
02:38 Yeah, he's here Saturday and Sunday and the full list of times and talks can be found on our Facebook page and also on the Who's Who app.
02:46 Fantastic, well so get yourself down here this weekend. Fantastic, cheers Willie.
02:50 Thanks.
