Cavite town mayor responds to Ombudsman suspension order

Silang, Cavite Mayor Kevin Anarna holds a media briefing on Friday, May 17, 2024, on his six-month preventive suspension by the Office of the Ombudsman for the alleged anomalous purchase of flowers and lights used in the town's festival in 2024. Mayor Anarna said that he was not afforded due process and the opportunity to answer the charges before the suspension order was implemented in April.
