00:00 I am in Los Angeles and I'm taking a cab in a taxi that doesn't have a driver.

00:07 Hello from Waymo. As we get going just give us one minute to cover a few riding tips.

00:41 This experience may feel futuristic but the need to buckle up is the same as always.

00:47 So keep your seatbelt fastened please. We'll do all the driving so please don't touch the steering wheel or pedals during your ride.

00:55 The steering moves on its own. The brakes and pedals operate on their own.

01:01 The car has got massive sensors that detects traffic around it as well as traffic lights.

01:08 And as you can see it's changing lanes right now rather carefully.

01:13 We are heading to downtown LA so there's a fair amount of traffic on the streets right now.

01:23 I have to say that the drive is as smooth so far as any Uber I've been in.

01:33 It's a Jaguar. It has got beautiful leather finishes and it smells divine.

01:40 And it's very comfortable.

01:43 Almost there. Don't forget your phone, keys or bag.
