00:00We've got your breath back here. How do you sum up a night like tonight?
00:04It's quite overwhelming. I think where we've come from, what we've done, not just this season but the last four seasons,
00:10we know what it means to the players. And we did say, the big thing is since we locked the players a few years ago,
00:16we want to get you to step three, whether that's us progressing them, that's us developing them, or that's us now taking them to step three.
00:22And that means a lot to us.
00:24At the start of this season, did you think that this sort of campaign could be on the cards?
00:29Or were you thinking, let's consolidate again, finish where we did last year, that's good?
00:33We always had the aim of finishing in the play-offs, and that wasn't a lie, that was from the start to think we could do it.
00:39And we knew from the last two or three years when we've had bad results, we've just missed out narrowly.
00:43Yeah, you've been close, haven't you?
00:44But I'll be honest, this season, looking at Ramsgate and Cray and how dominant they were, and Three Bridges, fairness to them,
00:50at the start of the season, they were running away with it at the start.
00:53And for us, we caught up, we had that great 10-10 game period where we really were win after win after win, that got us into that place.
01:01And then the belief comes into the players, and we know on our day we can beat teams, and I think Tuesday we proved that more so than today.
01:08Today is a different type of game, and we manage it differently.
01:10Tuesday is more emotional, I'd argue, in terms of how we actually beat them.
01:15And of course, Ramsgate were one of the favourites of the league.
01:18But credit to Crelling and what he's done with Three Bridges, I think they're a very good team.
01:22And I think first off, those that watched us tonight, they would know that they were probably the better team.
01:27We went 3-0 up at half-time, but they were the better team.
01:30And that's how I see the game.
01:31And second half, I think we put our foot on it, we dominated and we got the result.
01:34You were so clinical tonight, and that must be one of the things from the season.
01:39It's pleasing, of course.
01:40And they've got a brilliant keeper, so we had to be, and we knew what we had to do.
01:44And I think when momentum goes with you, it's on our side, and that's what happened in the game.
01:48And we're fortunate.
01:49And somebody who's in everybody's thoughts tonight, of course, is Graeme June.
01:54Is it fair to say that his presence is still being felt?
01:58Absolutely.
01:59He's firing these players still.
02:00He is.
02:01And we know what he'd say.
02:03We know how he would be in and around the training.
02:05He'd be right in and out of the passing.
02:07And how he is with the players is unique in terms of the way that he spoke to the players.
02:14He's kept that change room as it is, and he helped build that.
02:18And they're doing it for you.
02:19And we all are.
02:21And a few weeks off now, and then back at it.
02:25I think Andy Bell's going to have a bit of a headache thinking, are we ready?
02:30We've done it.
02:30So on the pitch, it's ready.
02:32We've now got to do a lot of work at the club to really push it.
02:34But now you can enjoy it.
02:37And we get that league game against Bovina now.
02:39It's no longer a pre-season friendly.
02:40It'll be a league game against Bovina, which we can't wait.
02:42You'll have to turn them down if they want to phone you now.
02:46Congratulations and enjoy tonight.
02:48Cheers.
