00:00 Bristol is full of an amazing food scene, so can you tell me a little bit about the
00:07 Whitmore Grill which you have visited recently?
00:09 Yes, so the Whitmore Grill is above the Whitmore Tap on White Ladies Road, but they're concentrating
00:16 on really high quality meat which they're cooking over the real fire in the open kitchen,
00:22 and it's a really nice vibe in there. The restaurant's lovely, really kind of opulent
00:28 kind of drawing room kind of style with leather bonkets and heavy oil prints.
00:35 Thank you Mark. So shall we move on to the Kensington Arms which you have also visited
00:39 recently?
00:40 Yes, so I went to the Kensington Arms for Sunday lunch. Again, they're using really
00:44 high quality local meat from the Chew Valley. There's an open kitchen so you see the chefs
00:49 cooking your meal.
00:50 Amazing, thank you Mark. And shall we move on finally to Warmly Waiting Room which you
00:58 have been to recently? Tell me about that.
01:01 Warmly Waiting Room is a place I keep going back to actually because it's one of those
01:04 special places that you don't really want to tell too many people about, although there's
01:08 always a queue there. It's basically, as the name suggests, an old waiting room on a disused
01:15 railway station in Warmly, and it's a bit of a time warp because the trains stopped
01:21 there in 1966. So it's been 58 years since they've had any trains, but it's adjacent
01:27 to the Bristol and Bath cycle path so it's very busy with men in lycra and lots of dog
01:33 walkers and lots of kids and families. It's also got an incredible toilet which I must
01:38 tell you about. It's actually a blue TARDIS, as in the Doctor Who TARDIS. So there's often
01:46 a queue of people waiting for the TARDIS to use the toilet, so it's a bit of fun.
01:51 Ah, well that's lovely. It's nice to hear another local business doing really well.
