Sophie Mei Lan Malin tries out the luxury dining experience at the Fourth Floor Brasserie... with her baby.
Transcript
00:00 I was invited to try out a luxury dining experience at Harvey Nichols and as a busy mum of five,
00:07 I wasn't about to turn down the offer of being served. So, I took my baby whilst the
00:13 other kids were at school. And here's how it went because I walked through the stunning
00:19 Victoria Quarter of the city with lots of lovely lavish shoppers dressed up, me laden
00:26 with bags, buggies and nappies. But wow, the new spring menu at Harvey Nichols was bang
00:34 on. Not to mention that my baby slept to start with. And even when she woke, there was plenty
00:41 of space and staff cooing over her. Thank goodness. It was absolutely divine. I had
00:47 the plant-based options which had cashew mousse, seasonal veg like asparagus. We had a little
00:54 look round as well, the food hall and everyone's food looked epic. You also get a cocktail
01:00 in with the £35 for three courses offer. Now on at Harvey Nichols for their spring
01:07 tasting menu. And yes, I had a chickpea and quinoa salad and it was delicious. Not too
01:14 heavy and I didn't feel too awkward with the baby either because there was lots of space
01:19 and she loves a bit of meringue and apple pudding. Sophie Mayline-Maylin for the Yorkshire
01:26 Post back home now with all five kids.
