00:15And Patrick simply said yes, because he's a game changer.

00:19Because outside of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant was the one

00:22who taught NBA players what hard work truly is.

00:26And for a guy like Patrick Beverly who prides himself

00:29on being one of the hardest workers in the NBA,

00:31he learned a lot from Kobe Bryant.

00:33Michael Jordan is who Kobe Bryant learned how to work hard from.

00:38Kobe Bryant is who all modern NBA players worked hard from.

00:41And Pat went on to say that it confuses him that people seem

00:46to have forgotten that, that they seem to have forgotten

00:48that Kobe was the blueprint for how to work hard

00:52and succeed in the NBA.

00:53And when it comes to things like GOAT status

00:58or Mount Rushmore status, you need to look more

01:01than at just the box score.

01:03Because a lot of what Kobe has are intangibles

01:06that can't be measured in a box score similar to Patrick Beverly.

01:10Because if you look just at Patrick Beverly's box score,

01:12you would think he wouldn't really matter that much.

01:14And when you look at Kobe Bryant and how much he inspired people

01:17to work hard and to work harder, that's an intangible that needs

01:21to be measured in more than just numbers.
