00:00 Namaskar Acharya ji, my name is Abhishek Yadav. I was doing M.Tech from IITB and recently

00:09 I have joined AAPI Atomic Research Centre as a trainee scientific officer. So as you

00:15 mentioned about we are losing the time, that what bothers me and in relation to, I want

00:23 to ask in relation to the career. So I am facing this conflict whether to continue my

00:31 job or not. Because the earlier what reasons I had for the job was money and position in

00:39 the society but it is no longer the reasons which is why I am finding it difficult to

00:44 continue the job. I find psychological problems are more important to be resolved. But at

00:52 the same time I am facing this dilemma of public opinion, what if I lose the job. Should

01:01 I continue with the job and find purpose? Because these things are acting as an obstacle.

01:11 I am finding it as career by continuing, by being occupied with the job most of the time,

01:19 I am losing the time. When you are serious about victory, you do

01:29 not strike at the enemy without being fully prepared. Those who just plunge themselves

01:40 into battles without having checked their preparedness are the ones who do not love

01:50 victory too much. Right? Do not underestimate Maya. There was a reason you got into your

02:03 current job. Public opinion, money, prestige and all that. Have you so fully changed that

02:12 these things won't matter to you anymore at all? No. So Maya smiles. Even as you contemplate

02:23 your resignation and such things, she smiles. She knows that you are not fully prepared

02:28 in the inner sense. So you will resign and then regret the decision because you have

02:34 just not thought of the consequences. When you are to fight Maya, you have to use all

02:46 your resources, especially thought. Think of what you are going to do next and don't

02:54 overestimate yourself. Know that you still have a desire for social sanction and money

02:59 and such things. So if you resign from here, have you prepared an adequate and a better

03:06 option or do you just want to hop on to the road and become a job seeker and later on

03:14 curse spirituality and that happens with so many people. In a moment of excitement, in

03:25 a spiritual fit, they put in their papers and then the entire life they keep cursing

03:40 all the spiritual teachers and the books, entire spirituality itself. Oh, I tried to

03:48 be a rebel, a spiritual activist and I did this and see I am facing the consequences

03:54 even till date. So be prepared for her recoil. She doesn't let her prey escape so easily.

04:09 Not in the web of corporate job as you say, you are her prey. If you make a half-hearted

04:22 attempt to escape, you will only hurt yourself. Such attempts should not be made at all till

04:31 the moment you know that you will definitely succeed or at least you have a very strong

04:37 probability of success. So look for something that offers you a purposeful

04:49 workplace where your job entails doing something more fulfilling and also a place that offers

05:02 you at least average kind of decent money because you are not a realized saint or something.

05:13 A small paycheck will make you feel small and then all spirituality will disappear.

05:25 You have to be very practical in these things. So figure it out before you take the leap.

05:35 Sir, it's just that what bothers me is the time is running out. So that was troubles

05:47 me and I am not able to concentrate in my job as well.

05:51 I fully will understand there is something pushing you to quit your job. I appreciate

05:57 that. But I also know the power of man's inner tendencies. That's what I am calling as Maya.

06:12 Today because you have a decent paycheck, therefore you are thinking of job fulfillment

06:19 and self-actualization and such things. It is because you already have decent money coming

06:24 every month. The day that paycheck disappears, all your noble intentions will be at the risk

06:39 of disappearance. So if you think time is running out, then act swiftly. Swiftly you

06:52 figure out a better alternative. But without having a better alternative, if you blindly

07:02 jump into the unknown, chances are you will not be able to take the suffering and the

07:14 consequences. I repeat because this battle is important and because this battle must

07:22 be won, therefore one must not make rash decisions. You get it? If you want to hit a six, you

07:37 don't attempt that on every ball, do you? You wait to get settled and you wait for the

07:46 baller to make mistakes, at least some mistake. So you have all these things in your calculation

07:56 and then the moment comes when you lash out. That is if you are serious about winning the

08:04 match. If you just want to have your two seconds of

08:08 privy to then you can do anything. Dance at the ball, slog, miss, clean bold. I am not

08:30 discouraging you. I just want you to be adequately prepared because in youthful idealism, one

08:48 rushes into decisions without being able to sustain them. Whatever you do must be sustainable.

08:56 Are you getting it? So, take a little bit of time, prepare yourself well, figure out

09:04 options, gather knowledge, do some research so that the next place you go to is indeed

09:10 better than the current one. If you just keep hopping without discretion, how do you know

09:20 that the next place will not be equally bad or worse?

09:27 Yes, sir, I am getting your point. It is just that I am not finding a valid reason to continue

09:40 with the job like money or position. So, maybe I have to figure out what I have to do with

09:46 the money. Yes, obviously. See, you are the best judge, obviously. If you think that you

09:53 are in an inner position to just discard the money and other things right now, this moment,

10:01 then put in your papers this moment. But mostly it does not happen. So, I am speaking from

10:08 a generic point. I have seen a lot of youngsters make idealistic decisions and later regret

10:16 them. I do not want that to be repeated again. But if you feel you are prepared, take the

10:24 plunge. Bravo. So, this thing I am prepared for the public

10:31 opinion, I have to be prepared for that. So, prepare yourself well. Do your inner exercises.
