00:00 Hello there, Lee Sobot at the Yorkshire Evening Post here from Ellen Road, another dramatic
00:06 night at Ellen Road where Leeds United eventually recorded a 3-1 success against Hull City to
00:12 put themselves back into the Championship's automatic promotion places after a day of
00:17 drama and late twists and turns and all sorts and in the end that's exactly what we got
00:22 here including a goal from the halfway line or just about from Dan James to eventually
00:27 put Hull away and seal a 3-1 victory. A very hard night this evening, an awful lot of people
00:33 have an awful lot of respect for Hull City, clearly a very very good side went on song
00:36 and that was in evidence this evening. Some lovely passing football from them, they had
00:40 lots and lots of chances, a couple of shots that just whistled past the post, one which
00:44 had their manager Liam Rossinho on the touchline sinking to the floor because he couldn't believe
00:48 it hadn't gone in and they will probably feel they could have got something from the game
00:52 but in the end Leeds turned the screw and when it was 1-1 it was that man, the star
00:56 man, Crisenzio Somerville that won the White's penalty basically all on his own through fantastic
01:00 play, skipping around the full back and was brought down for a penalty which he then stepped
01:05 up to take himself and a very very cool finish, looked like Jean Perru was going to take it,
01:09 I'm not too sure what was going on there but in the end Somerville took the spot kick himself
01:13 and a very very cool finish to make it 2-1 and then right at the end, even then Hull
01:18 didn't go away, they kept pushing, very very late corner, Keeper went up for the corner
01:22 but in the end that proved the way that Leeds got their third goal in stunning fashion through
01:26 Dan James as Leeds cleared the corner, moved the ball to him on the wing and everybody
01:31 was crying 'shoot' with an empty goal, that's just what he did and then there was absolutely
01:35 wild scenes here as the ball sailed into the back of the net. Leeds initially went 1-0 up
01:40 through Sam Byron, we thought he showed real determination there to get in at the far post
01:44 and score that one when the ball was coming towards him in the air, if he hadn't shown
01:49 such determination then Hull would have cleared that but as I say Hull are a good side and
01:53 they kept going causing lots of problems and they equalised, that man Fabio Carvalho, no
01:57 surprise it was him who equalised, Filigini as well was very very good for Hull City and
02:01 as I say they are just a very very good side so Leeds and Daniel Farke be pleased to get
02:05 this one out of the way and get the three points which were needed very much so after
02:09 Leicester City and Ipswich Town both came from behind to record victories so it's basically
02:14 as you were apart from Southampton obviously now missing out and starting to fall away
02:18 a little bit you wouldn't write them off but very much started to look like a three horse
02:22 race, incredible scenes at Ipswich as they scored a 97th minute winner, most people watching
02:26 that one downstairs or somewhere over at Ellen Road couldn't believe it when they scored
02:30 yet again, it put all the pressure on Leeds but they answered the call so we still keep
02:34 going on, it's going to go right to the very wire you would think, another very hard game
02:39 coming up this weekend at Coventry City but Leeds just keep doing what they're doing and
02:44 hopefully eventually they'll keep getting these wins and then they'll get back into
02:47 the top two in their own right in terms of not having, because obviously Leicester have
02:51 a game in hand but they are there at the moment so even now Leicester have to overtake them
02:55 again, a dramatic night here, Leeds United 3, Hull City 1.
