Frank The Tank | Frank Walks
Transcript
00:00 We are getting ready for episode 3 of Frank Walks powered by Body Armor and
00:06 well we are with El Prez. I think what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna talk a little
00:12 about about him but I'm gonna let him try to drive it a little bit. Have him put
00:16 out what he wants to put out what he's doing what he's doing for Barstool and
00:20 things like that.
00:25 One-on-one yes. I've been in green rooms with him before Rough 'n' Rowdies but
00:31 that's like just like a group. My favorite thing about Dave Portnoy is
00:35 that he's very direct. He goes right to you doesn't doesn't doesn't bullshit.
00:42 Is there anything you're nervous about having a long hour with Dave Portnoy?
00:47 I'm always nervous so being alone with anyone is nerve-wracking.
00:54 Frank I think I see Dave Portnoy walking through right now.
00:58 All right let's go.
01:00 Well we always walk basically until we feel that if you're walking somewhere
01:17 you want to go somewhere afterwards you go like I walked JJ Watt from his hotel
01:22 room to CBS that first time and last week we walked Mike Francesco around his
01:28 neighborhood for about 40 minutes. Okay. Which was he has the greatest rant about
01:34 the NBA in-season tournament. You were telling me that I also hate the
01:38 tournament. I mean it's terrible. I don't even know why the NBA has to go through
01:43 these gimmicks like this. They're trying to make it like soccer right? Isn't that
01:48 the vibe? It was influenced by European soccer but it's like they said that the
01:53 players are lacking interest in a regular season. Yeah right. I mean. Well
01:58 they celebrate the Lakers celebrated like they won another LeBron title. Well
02:03 that was the biggest the fact that they put that banner up next to their
02:07 championship banners is it's almost like comical. Insane. I don't know if I
02:12 would want my team to win that thing. Yeah I hate you know what I hate the
02:17 most about it was the courts. Oh they were ugly. Like being a Celtics fan
02:20 seeing the parquet. Well the Celtics were not happy about that. They asked if
02:25 they could keep the parquet and they were told no. I mean the parquet floor.
02:29 Look at this guy. Hey how's it going? The always electric Jake Marsh. The
02:36 parquet floor in Boston is iconic. Correct. It'll be like putting uh well I
02:43 don't want to say because I know it'll get you mad but like put the Yankees in
02:46 like yellow uniforms or something you know it's Notre Dame with like although
02:51 Notre Dame does wear crazy helmets time to time. I remember a couple years ago
02:54 Notre Dame played a game at Yankee Stadium and basically dressed up like
02:57 the Yankees. I wanted to puke. Disgusting. I wanted to puke. Yeah I don't like any
03:01 I like all the old-school basic stuff. I look at some of these NBA teams and their
03:05 jerseys and they don't even look like their team. I mean the I got the Bucks
03:10 wearing that. Yep. That blue uniform. They've never worn blue in their
03:15 history. These and some of these jerseys are just hideous like the
03:21 he'd have the jersey where they have all the different riding styles. It
03:25 looks like a ransom demand. Now that you actually bring that up I have a
03:28 question because I know you know all the history. The Sports Encyclopedia just
03:32 done? Yeah pretty much. Yeah. I just you know what happened was. You run out of time. Yeah I don't
03:38 have the time anymore to run it and basically it's just like Wiki took over
03:44 and Wiki stole a lot from me when they were building. Let me tell you. Wiki
03:49 stole from you? Wiki stole from me. They literally lifted like team histories
03:53 from me. I believe it. I believe it. Now Wiki is not Wikipedia or it's the
04:02 same thing? It's Wikipedia. So Wikipedia stole from the tank from Sports Encyclopedia?
04:07 Yeah like the early years of Wikipedia they stole a lot of the team history
04:13 like like they just copied and pasted from me. Whoever put up that Wiki. Huh.
04:19 Have you ever thought Frank because I have a little bit if that camera didn't
04:25 catch you doing your Mets rant at that exact time how different your life would
04:30 be. Cancellations made it nearly impossible to get around. For some the
04:35 frustration was overwhelming.
04:39 I'm not going to get to my game now because they are incompetent.
04:45 They tell me track G, track H, track E, track E and then I go on track H and they say no this train is not running.
04:51 They're announcing it was wrong. He was clearly irate about possibly missing the Mets opening
04:55 day game. Yeah it's it's like a sliding door situation. It really is. I mean it's it's
04:59 crazy. It really is. I mean I just wanted to let my frustration go about New
05:05 Jersey Transit which I didn't get my driver's license until I was 28. I got it
05:13 20 years ago probably just probably 20 years ago around this week 2004. I
05:18 finally got my license and I relied on buses and trains my whole life and it's
05:25 the bus is trying to get to Montclair State and it was it was always something
05:30 and they knew there'd be like a bus. Well three buses in a row come.
05:37 Two, one's late, one's on time, one's early and it's just like so bad the service.
05:44 Well it worked in the end. Yeah. It worked out for you. Yeah they're having public
05:48 meetings now to raise the rates and every day I get notifications that one
05:54 train's cancelled it is one trains cancels this because I have to
05:57 notifications on my phone and they tweet out if there's any delays or anything
06:03 and it's like I was in Chicago a couple weeks ago for the stream and they got a
06:09 notification that all services suspended due to transit due to a track
06:14 malfunction. So I when Barstow started getting more successful because I used
06:21 to take the subway all the time a normal job that I vowed never to go on the
06:24 subways again public train and in New York you kind of need it I still won't
06:28 do it. Mikey Betts we almost lost you there. How's your crew doing though Mikey
06:32 Betts? They are doing great. Yeah. I mean they they're coming up with more and
06:37 more stuff we're gonna be making more and more trips and they're making good
06:41 deals at some companies like we might have some big things coming up I mean
06:48 they're talking like big companies. Good. I got to Tops last week. Oh really?
06:52 Yeah. Are they making a card for you? Well Leaf has made a card for me that's
06:56 the autograph that sold out in like a week and Tops is thinking about doing
07:03 something with that doing some concept possibly appearing in the Alan Ginter
07:07 set. So I was in that. KFC and I did that and I still one of them sold for like
07:13 15 grand so I have autograph hawkers now who like will wait because they've seen
07:18 that one sale and they're actually the worst they're just they are the worst
07:23 they always hawk you but you'd be a perfect fit for that. I mean the Tops
07:28 meeting was it was outstanding. Jenks is talking to them about plans he's trying
07:33 to get we're trying to get the Dirty Ballpark tour finalized
07:38 getting like a sponsor behind that. Yeah. And what is that? I'm gonna want to visit
07:43 what's Dirty Ballpark? Dirty. I'll visit all 30 MLB stadiums do a video
07:50 that would be great. Ramping the whole stadium the concourse the outside the
07:54 atmosphere the the stadium itself. How many stadiums have you been to? About 14.
07:59 What's number one on your hit list that you haven't been to? Probably San
08:06 Francisco. Yeah. Probably San Francisco. I also like St. Louis, Colorado. I've been
08:15 to St. Louis haven't been to Colorado. Have I been to Colorado? I don't think so. Drove by it
08:20 didn't go in it. Yeah Colorado what I like about Colorado is it looks like it
08:25 has this witch macaw the sun sets in the summer like the fires like like the
08:32 sky's on fire. That's Colorado the crazy sunsets. I went out to Colorado in 1992
08:40 to visit to visit my motorcycle family and we had a car trip from Boulder,
08:47 Colorado to McAllister, Montana. I've never been to Boulder I applied to go
08:52 to school there without seeing it but decided against it I was going through
08:57 whether I want to be like a ski bum face. Yeah. I gotta get out there for Deion
09:01 to see a game. Yeah yeah my yeah my aunt lived in Boulder at the time and I
09:07 remember going down with my cousin to like this area of Boulder which is
09:14 basically like all like the potheads hung out. What happened to your uh do you
09:19 still have that guy who lives with you the other Dolphins fan? The other
09:24 Dolphins fan? Yeah in your building. Oh the Colts fan. Colts fan. He's not doing so
09:30 well as I heard. Really? Yeah he lived in the building I moved out of that building but
09:34 yeah that Colts fan. Yeah. Yeah he kind of had like a breakdown. Like a mental
09:42 breakdown? Yeah he like he had like issues he was a teacher he's actually a
09:49 teacher in Clifton and the working from home like really got to him during
09:57 COVID and he started like taking all these cats into his apartment. Like
10:03 that's a sure sign that you're having a breakdown if you take cats. Yeah he's
10:06 taking all the cats from the dumpster you could like smell in the hallway like
10:10 the cats. All these cats and then he went to the hospital and I haven't
10:16 heard from him now in almost three years. I texted him a couple of times here and
10:21 there and I haven't gotten a response. Taking the cats from the dumpster is no
10:26 bueno. Do you remember what I said you may not even know you probably know I
10:31 said it it's probably one of the most wrong things that I've been since
10:38 Barstool when we hired you I said you're gonna be on an innings count. Yep. I was
10:44 wrong on that one. I was dead-ass wrong on that one.
10:47 Gladly wrong. What'd you think when I said that? Were you like I'm gonna show
10:52 this guy or what? Yeah I just wanted to go there get involved show that what I
10:56 can do.
10:58 And I tried to like participate as much as I can in everyone's content. I saw
11:06 you were talking about the draft. What draft? The New York office draft.
11:13 Where we basically gonna come out with videos. Oh we were talking about
11:18 that today yeah yeah that was Kevin's thing. Yes and I think we're gonna
11:26 work on something that's gonna be probably Hollywood related. I don't know
11:29 if I want to say much more than that. Who's on your team? Kelly Kiggs, Lil
11:35 Sass, Robbie Fox. This was drafted? Yeah. How'd you get all those guys
11:41 together? It's just how they get it all together. We got Gia too. Huh it's a good
11:48 team. It's a solid squad.
11:51 Dang this is this is Kiggs team. So you're uh you hate Tate? I don't
11:59 necessarily hate Tate but I want to see him face the music. Yeah. You know he's
12:05 got to the point where okay you're lobbing all these grenades and you don't
12:08 want to come to New York? No you have to come to New York. I think he is now
12:11 that's what it seems like. I mean I mean the first couple shots I was like okay
12:21 and then it just got overboard. Yeah well it got personal but going
12:26 back and forth. What do you think's the most, this is a hard question, surreal
12:31 thing or where since you've been here where you're like man I can't believe
12:36 that just happened or I didn't I can't believe I met this person. Yeah it's
12:39 almost happening regularly now. I mean I I can't believe I actually walked
12:44 around with Mike Francesa and things like that and that I got a chance to
12:49 meet these athletes, these different people and going all around. Sorry.
12:56 I always wanted to go to all 50 states and now I'm at 43. Really what's left?
13:03 Minnesota, the Dakotas. You've never been to Minnesota? Never been to Minnesota. I thought it would have been an easy one to knock off.
13:08 Dakotas I've never been to. What else?
13:13 Washington, Oregon and the two other ones Alaska, Hawaii. All right so all those
13:22 make sense except we escalating our stairs. Escalating. Yeah. All those make
13:28 sense except Minnesota. Yeah I just haven't had that opportunity yet. That's
13:34 gonna happen probably soon I think. I think the Georgia World Parks will at least
13:38 hit it for Minnesota for the twins. The Dakotas. I actually have a cousin in the
13:42 Dakotas too which is kind of crazy I've never been to the Dakotas but an uncle too.
13:50 Well yeah never been to the Dakotas. Those are states that are really hard to get to.
13:57 I've never been to Dakotas either. I don't plan on. I probably
14:02 will never be at the Dakotas. But and of course in the upper Midwest area up the
14:09 left hand corner so to speak. Who? Washington and Oregon.
14:15 That's not. Do you call that the Midwest? No no I meant the left hand corner. Yeah yeah yeah.
14:18 I haven't been out there either. Those places. I would like to go probably.
14:24 I don't know Oregon anymore. Washington yes but I don't know about the other ones.
14:30 Yeah Oregon. You and Francesa would be an electric radio show. I think it would be.
14:35 Electric. I think it would be and of course Harrison I think he did a good
14:38 job last summer when he was interning. Yeah yeah. I've met him a bunch because he's a big
14:43 horse guy. He's always at Saratoga. So that's one of my spots. I see him up
14:47 there a lot. But it is surreal. Are you ever gonna get a horse in the derby?
14:52 Huh. I know Francesa talks about it that he's dreams that's his dream is to get a
14:56 horse in the derby. Yeah so here's my thing with horse racing. Like while I'm for 99.9% of
15:04 the population a wealthy person for the horse racing industry I'm poor. It's like
15:08 they're so rich they're billionaires. To get out you have to be like the people
15:13 who have horse and they're like Mike Rapoli who I'm friends with. He's another
15:16 New York guy. He's a Queens guy but he's had horses in the derby but he's a
15:21 billionaire. He spends tens of millions of dollars every year on
15:26 horse. I can't do that. So I probably will never have a horse because the other
15:30 thing I don't like doing a lot of people do partnerships. They're like oh I own 1%
15:35 of this horse. That does nothing for me. Like I want it to be my horse. So you know I
15:39 bought one very expensive horse this past Saratoga. It's a female so not
15:43 derby. But the odds of that horse being good. Could the horse cost 700 grand? It
15:49 may never run. Like you still have to be so lucky. So it's like I'm just not rich
15:52 enough for it. But it would be a dream. I mean yeah that's and I like the fact that
15:58 I'm kicking off all these events I've never thought I would have had a chance
16:01 to go to. Like I went to the Daytona a couple years ago and just
16:07 click them off slowly but surely. Go to this event. Go to that event. So I've gone
16:12 through in a weird way this similar like cycle of what you're going through with
16:18 all these events. Meeting people like when I started. I mean no one knew what
16:21 Barstow was when I started. And then it starts growing. You start meeting people.
16:24 Going to things and it's surreal. Yeah. Like the Daytona 500 I rode in the pace
16:32 car with Dale Earnhardt Jr. It was insane. First race I ever went to. I like how we
16:39 just kind of walk aimlessly and now we're at the Aria. I end up walking back
16:42 to my hotel. The wind. Oh yeah it's it's it. That's how it is. We like doing
16:49 things like this. Well I think the walk. I told our sales people that I
16:53 thought the walk would be one of the biggest things that we have by the end
16:57 of this year. Once celebrities start asking to be in it. Yeah we we've
17:02 already got some people that we're already preliminarily talking to and I
17:06 think that's gonna be really really big and I think especially that I've walked
17:10 now this is 134 straight days. How much weight have you lost? Well at one time I
17:16 was my top ever was 2016 I weighed 500 pounds. Over 500 pounds. You're down on
17:23 to 350 now? I'm last weigh in last week 340. That's great. And it's like I'm down
17:28 like 40 since August. That's great. I mean I'm wearing jeans right now that I could
17:35 never fit in. I'm wearing these jeans are a little tight. They're size 56. I was
17:42 wearing. Where do you get size 56 jeans from? This one we were lucky to get it at
17:46 Burlington. But usually I had to go to like the king size or DXL to get my
17:51 clothes. Yeah. And yeah I was at what my waist size was 69 and now it's 50 like
18:00 58. I've gone from a 34 I got down to like a 30 and now I'm back at a 34 30.
18:11 Not the ideal waist size either short. Yeah I'm in there I'm about the same
18:17 size. I'm about the same size but yeah but yeah the walks are really helping.
18:25 That's all I do. I have such a bum shoulder so I just walk everywhere. I do
18:29 I walk like three miles a day generally try to. Yeah I have the Fitbit so I go my
18:35 goal is at least 10,000. Fitbit you hear that like whoop Fitbit that's another
18:41 one I want to sell get ads for it's a no-brainer.
18:45 I yeah I did so I have that. Yesterday I yesterday I reached 20,000.
18:52 And that's good. Yeah 20,000 steps. Yeah. Walked to and back to Caesars.
19:03 Which really. How long is the strip? Do we know? I think it's a couple of miles. Five
19:10 miles.
19:12 Toca Madera yeah. This is where Aria is. I think I'm actually getting close to my
19:18 hotel. Yeah. Yeah yeah yeah. That's what I do with JJ Watt. That's what you say you can't
19:27 start much I mean bigger than that. Watt and Francesa. Yeah I mean that's a list.
19:32 I mean. Were you Francesa or a Mad Dog guy? I was a Francesa guy. So does that
19:39 mean you didn't like Mad Dog once they broke did you have to choose sides on
19:43 that? I just ignored Mad Dog I didn't have
19:46 Sirius radio until 2019. Because their breakup was was not pleasant right? No it
19:54 wasn't. Right. So I got tired of each other. Yeah. What's happened? Mad Dog got that
20:01 money from Sirius. Yep. Meanwhile Mike Francesa's got the same salary he had
20:05 and was getting kind of jealous. So that was kind of like a bad thing that
20:12 happened. And then when Yes Network booted Francesa for Michael K that was
20:21 like really ugly. Yeah. It got really ugly. That's that's where Mincy used to work
20:29 out of the Poker Ghost studio. Yeah. When he was briefly well I don't know why I
20:35 don't know that he was totally ever unemployed I don't know what Mincy meant.
20:39 Next year's Super Bowl he's gonna be yeah. Where? He's gonna be the king of next year's Super Bowl.
20:44 Yep. I mean New Orleans. What do you think of the Super Bowl here? Are you a fan of
20:48 it in Vegas? I like it. Yeah. I like it. I like getting it different places. I hope
20:53 Chicago builds that dome stadium and they put one in Chicago. I wish they put a
20:58 dome on that air conditioning unit in New Jersey which is the worst stadium in the NFL.
21:05 The problem with cold weather it's like New York when you had there
21:09 it's cold. Minnesota there was it wasn't New York snow when they had it? Yeah.
21:13 Yeah. And Minnesota was so cold you couldn't even go outside. I'm a believer for the
21:18 Super Bowl. It should be three like here you can do fine. New Orleans, Miami.
21:23 Rotate it. Because so many fans it's their vacation and it's like you go to a cold
21:28 weather ice-cold city it kind of sucks. But sometimes the city helps pull it out.
21:34 Yeah. Well here the city's so big you may not even know it's the Super Bowl
21:38 because it's like crazy. It's a convention city and it is just so many
21:41 hotels. It's crazy. I remember I heard stories that when he put it in Jacksonville
21:46 it was a disaster. Yes. I remember the Patriots were in that one I think. Yeah.
21:50 Yeah they were. Yeah. That's when he won their third. That was a huge. So we were just
21:54 starting and all the local like EEI they're all just bitching. They're like
21:59 the hotels and as a fan you're like just shut up you're at the game for free. You
22:03 have no reason to be bitching. But everyone complained about Jacksonville.
22:08 Everybody. Yeah that was. Nashville will get one because they're building that
22:11 stadium. That's a great city. Yeah that's gonna be that should be an interesting
22:14 one with the music city. Yep. Been to Tennessee but I haven't been to Nashville yet.
22:19 Right. Been to Knoxville. What? I've been to Knoxville. Oh I thought you said there was a Super Bowl there.
22:27 Yeah I've been to Knoxville. The Vols. Nashville's a great city. Yep. You've
22:32 never been there? Nope. Great city. Are you a country music fan? What kind of music do
22:38 you listen to? I listen to yacht rock a lot. We got more in common than we think.
22:42 Yacht rock's the best. And my parents grew up listening to country music so I
22:46 know a lot about country music especially Toby Keith. Yeah so did you
22:50 see the Toby Keith story? Yeah. Very lucky I just happened to see one of his last
22:55 performances and I mean he he was like you with the Mets. I mean he lives for
23:00 Oklahoma football. Yeah. He lives for it and he all he did was rip Lincoln Riley for two
23:05 hours straight. I saw the I saw the pictures of him. You just see how just
23:10 like Kansas just like ate away at him. Yeah. This guy was this guy was a big
23:15 husky. Yeah. Like he worked on oil wells before he was a singer and you could
23:21 just see what the cancer did him. Cancer sucks. Brutal. You never know what
23:26 happened. I mean he wasn't that old. He was what 62? 62? No that's not that old. Not anymore.
23:31 No. I mean I grew up I grew up and 70 was old and now it doesn't seem like it's old anymore.
23:39 It's my parents yeah. Doesn't even seem that old anymore. I mean you got people making it
23:45 to 90 and 80 and some of the 80-year-olds look like they're still there sprying things.
23:51 100%. I mean look at Clint Eastwood. He's still directing movies. He's 90. 90?
23:57 Hubie Brown is probably one of the best NBA color analysts and he's 90.
24:02 Hubie Brown's 90? He's 90. And he's I didn't know he's still calling games. Yeah I saw
24:08 him when he went to the Knicks game a few weeks ago. I saw him at the desk. He is the best.
24:12 I mean. Who would your ideal well I don't know if you're gonna ask. You like the Mets
24:19 announcers. Yes. So outside of them who's your favorite like if to call it if you have Mets
24:25 playoff games that you don't you can't have Darling and you can't have Howie who would you
24:30 want to call it? Well Gary Cohn is the TV guy. Okay. I don't. For the Mets. Yeah. Yeah so I'm
24:37 saying you can't pick them and it would have to be somebody else. Do you like Buck? I've warmed
24:42 up a little bit. What about Costas? Costas I used to like a little bit better but I think he's gotten
24:47 too full of himself. I like Costas. It makes me feel like you're watching the game. I like Buck.
24:53 I mean Vince Scully was the best. Vince Scully was the best. You know I like Sean McDonough. He
25:01 used to do Red Sox. I think Sean McDonough is great at everything. Yeah. I think that's a good one. I
25:05 think Kevin Burkhardt's done good. Yeah he is good. I like Kevin Burkhardt. I know Brady's
25:12 gonna push Greg Olsen out. He's our dozen guy. Yeah. Jersey guy. What's that? He's a Jersey guy.
25:20 Yeah Olsen. Yeah. He was like one of the very first professional athlete barstool fans. I became like
25:27 I've always said this when people ask Dave like who are you friends with that I'm legitimately
25:32 friends with him. There's a very few that I've become that just a great guy super not like even
25:37 for example he's doing the dozen. One call it's like hey Greg can you do this? I'm like yep when
25:41 is it I'll be there. No questions asked. I wish Greg Olsen. I mean I don't think he got to give Brady
25:48 the shot. So it's the best thing that's ever happened to him because he's gonna be like the
25:52 backup quarterback where everyone's like we want Olsen back. We want so he's gonna make he's making
25:57 more money doing this than he ever did playing football. It's crazy. I think it would. I don't
26:02 know if Brady's gonna be good or not. I think he will. I know Joe Montana tried it and was awful.
26:07 Yeah I think Brady's is better than I mean I think Brady will be good. I who knows I think
26:13 he'll be good. You never know like Rome. I never thought Romo. I never bought the Roma. He annoyed
26:20 me from the start. Yeah same. I mean and he's awful now. He is almost unwatchable. I'm almost
26:27 tempted I'm almost tempted to watch the Nickelodeon broadcast. Yeah you know what he gives the vibes
26:33 of like he doesn't watch or pay attention. He just sits down and what like he has no clue.
26:40 Whereas Greg you can tell is doing the research paying attention. I mean it's just like you did
26:45 that not so fast Jim. It's just so irritating. Yeah I got no idea where we're walking to right
26:52 now. Does anybody? Where is the win? Oh well you guys tell me. I think where I think I'm very close
27:00 to my hotel. Oh I am. All right I have no. Well Margaritaville is super close to where the hotel
27:10 is. I don't know. They just have the same stores every like hundred yards. Yeah something like
27:16 that. It's crazy because all those stores are near my hotel. You know they don't want you leaving the
27:20 hotel. Yeah I know. You don't really generally have to. They have the Caesars has like the
27:26 highest end things. You have Armani and stuff. That's mine does too. The wind does too. Yeah.
27:30 But we just walked all by those. I don't know how anybody I mean it's an overwhelming city. That is
27:37 yeah for damn sure. I tried my way a blackjack last night. It didn't go too well. You lost. You
27:43 got to go play with Compton and Taylor Leone. They win every night somehow. I mean every hand
27:49 this dealer's got getting 20. That's blackjack everywhere except those guys where they literally
27:56 win every single hand they play. I mean it's just like it feels just like so good so demoralizing.
28:05 Going up here. Yeah I'm not a black. I'm a sports gambler. Yeah. I'm not as much of a blackjack guy.
28:13 Who do you like in the Super Bowl? I like the Chiefs. I'm on them too. I just. But I'm very
28:20 nervous. I think it's gonna be a very close game. I just think the Niners actually didn't play well.
28:25 They should have lost the last two games. Yeah. But then there's something that well why are they
28:30 favored? Like that's the thing that has me a little bit. Because really the Packers Jordan
28:37 Love puked on himself in the second half. Yeah. And the Lions. I don't care about knock on field
28:44 goals. The guy always does it. But then you the turnover and the kick it just fell apart. Bang.
28:48 Yeah Dan Campbell I think the second one when they were had it when he was a 45 yard field goal.
28:55 Yeah that was crazy. I don't understand how you don't go for that one. That one was nuts. But
29:00 you there's you live by the sword you die. He did it all season so it's. Well there's way we just
29:13 she said we can record there. I don't know why I can't record here. People like making rules just
29:17 to make rules. Just to crush people. I mean. To care about that. Seriously we're just walking
29:23 right. I mean what are we doing here. We're not even like. Is this is this America. Your body
29:42 armor you know. One of the things is body armor is really helped with the walks. I mean they keep
29:49 me hydrated. Now I'm so glad they're coming out with these zero sugar varieties. This is the fruit
29:54 punch. It's awesome. I think it's better than the regular. I think there's zero sugar tastes
29:59 better than regular body armor. And that's how they're sort of like healthy just by the way
30:03 you're saying that's hard. Hard to do to make zero sugar taste better than the original. I prefer it.
30:11 Yeah. Yeah I prefer it. Much better. Anyway I think we're still this guy private property.
30:18 Oh yeah we're walking I guess we're just doing the strip. I don't know this building which is
30:27 nothing. They're acting like it's Fort Knox. Like can't record can't record. By the way
30:31 Super Bowl week is Vegas so maybe a lot of weird people come out and do it. But yeah they're very
30:36 very on top of us like we're about to steal something. I mean literally we're just like
30:42 walking. Yeah we're walking here we're walking by them. I'm not even paying attention to what
30:47 we're walking by. Me neither. I don't even know what building it is. It's a high security.
30:55 It's crazy. What building is this? Ross shoes? I don't know. It's strange. Very strange.
31:14 I look at their building warnings every day you know they're tearing down the Tropicana. I know
31:20 that. That used to be well they're what are they building the baseball stadium? That's where the
31:25 A's are gonna go. Yeah right. So Penn used to own the Tropicana. Yeah it's closing in April and
31:33 that's gonna be they're gonna tear down and build the ballpark for the soon to be Las Vegas athletics.
31:39 It's crazy how quickly Vegas has gotten hockey, football, baseball. Yeah basketball will definitely come.
31:45 The NBA is gonna expand to two teams. It's gonna be Seattle and Vegas. It's almost set in stone.
31:51 Bring back the Super Sonics. Yep. Will they get the name? Yeah they will. That's good. Basically Clay Bennett.
32:00 Yeah Alex Bennett. Yeah. Or formerly I don't know where they're at now but. But yeah that's he
32:09 he kind of did Seattle dirty. Yeah they don't like them they hate them. I got a lot of hate mail about
32:14 that. He kind of did Seattle dirty. Seattle is a great sports town. It is too.
32:20 They got hockey and the Kraken are doing well. Yep the Kraken and they're obviously 12th man
32:26 Seahawks. I feel like they care about soccer there. Maybe I'm confusing. Yeah they do. They love the Sounders.
32:34 Yeah yeah that's what I thought. The Sounders were a little down the last couple years but they won like the
32:39 MLS Cup like two or three times. Yeah. They had Clint Dempsey I think. As the coach? No he was like at the end of his career.
32:49 He came over. He's been retired for a little bit no? Yeah I'm talking about six seven years ago. I was watching the
32:56 Beckham documentary that he and Beckham were button heads I think if that's what I'm remembering.
33:00 Clint Dempsey? Yeah sure. How's it going? Good.
33:10 Cool. Yeah nice meeting you. Well everything's going well I see that we got a new partner that's gonna be
33:28 starting just after the Super Bowl. For Frank Walks? Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yes. I look forward to that.
33:36 I've previewed the app and I think it's got a good interface. Yes. So I look forward to that.
33:44 What's that? This is March. So yes so by the time this thing airs everybody will know.
33:51 Everyone will know. We'll be getting ready. No wrong. Wrong. DraftKings. DraftKings.
33:58 DraftKings. But it's the king of fantasy sports. Yeah we just did that commercial yesterday.
34:04 Which have you seen it? Well you know the movie Major League. But we actually made that so we
34:09 advertised with them back 2014 I think or something like that we made that commercial so that was a
34:16 remake of it. Yeah I looked at the commercial before he shot. Yeah. Paris I haven't eaten there.
34:21 Pizza and tapas or have I eaten there? I don't know I get all my pizza places confused. How's the
34:26 Raw Dogs going? Oh they're going well. I'm going to try all 50 states too doing that and I got a
34:35 couple good places in. What's your all-time hot dog? It's Rutz Hut in Clifton, New Jersey. What is it?
34:40 Rutz Hut in Clifton, New Jersey. How far is that from the city or our office? It's just off Route 3.
34:47 So it's like basically maybe five miles past the Meadowlands. All right I gotta try that then.
34:56 If that's your best hot dog ever I gotta give that a shot. Yeah they have they called a Ripper and
35:00 it's been voted the number one hot dog by road food like the last six years. What's on a Ripper
35:06 heads up? It's a hot dog that's thrown in hot oil and it boils up like real fast like a minute and
35:17 the skin begins to burst off so it rips the skin off. Huh the Ripper all right I'm gonna have to
35:23 give that a shot. And they have really good relish. That's important. You know I've I made I've eaten
35:30 the hot dogs in Cleveland don't love them don't love them in Chicago. I like my hot dogs I well
35:37 I don't know if this is gonna be blasphemous because I know it's controversial. I just put
35:40 ketchup. Oh yes. I wasn't sure how that would go over. I love as you go to Chicago some places like
35:48 they put gross stuff on it. There's too much stuff. And then you go to the place Jean and Jude's and
35:53 they are strict no ketchup so much at the McDonald's across the street. And they charge you at McDonald's.
36:01 Yeah I know smart. This is just the beginning thanks for walking with me Dave. Thanks for the
36:07 invite. I mean it's gonna be great I think this is gonna explode. I agree with you I've been on
36:12 with sales and you got your team here Jenks Mikey Betts you got something going Frank. Yeah we're
36:17 gonna. One of the few times I go to eat crow and be like I was wrong I didn't see this coming I
36:21 I've seen it coming for a little bit but yeah I mean building the Frank Empire. Just this week
36:28 the greatest juxtaposition ever. One day I walked by the Grand Canyon the next day I walked down
36:33 the strip. Very different. Two absolutely natural wonders of the world. But we have more great walks
36:42 coming up so stay tuned and it's good it's monthly for now but if we get more we'll get more out. I
36:49 love it.
