00:00 It's a great feeling. It's been six years since I've put on the green and gold and represented my country.
00:06 And for myself to get this call up was just, it's changed my life.
00:12 I just can't wait to be back with the team to help, you know, give a little bit of me to show them that I've still got this.
00:20 And I've been working so hard in the off-season and during this season to get my spot back in this squad.
00:26 And I just can't wait to take this opportunity, take it with both hands and run with it.
00:30 For me, it's looking at with Sam unavailable, Kaya just coming back from injury, McNamara injured and so forth.
00:36 We're looking at who's the best next nine. And the way Michelle have played, she deserves to be selected.
00:42 It's surely performance. And I've said that a lot of times throughout these three years that for me, it's not about age in the Matilda.
00:48 It's about the quality you have as a footballer, whether you're 17 or 35, doesn't matter.
00:53 If you have the quality, you deserve to be selected. And Heimene played herself into this team, the way she plays.
00:58 She's in tremendous form, need an in and out pure nine in the box that needs half a chance to score.
01:05 And that's Michelle, the form she's playing with right now.
01:07 So I'm really happy for her because she has pushed herself back into this team by her performances.
01:12 performances.
