00:00 President Bongbong Marcos has already commented on some hot topics in the country,
00:05 such as the implementation of the Charter Change and the introduction of the International Criminal Court in the Philippines.
00:11 Let's take a look at the latest on the spot of Ivan Mayrina.
00:14 Ivan?
00:21 Connie Rafi, the President has already spoken about the repeated signatures on the People's Initiative in exchange for money or assistance from the DSWD.
00:31 The President said that if anyone is paid to sign, his signature will be invalidated and the COMELEC should just let them do their job of validating the signatures submitted.
00:44 But he has no clear answer on whether he is in favor of the Charter Change or in any other way.
00:50 The President's clear answer is regarding the investigation being conducted by the International Criminal Court in the country.
00:58 The President is surprised that the Philippines does not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC in us and he sees it as an obstacle to the sovereignty of the country.
01:05 This is the investigation of the ICC.
01:07 They can go to the country as ordinary visitors but they will not help us in their investigation.
01:18 As ordinary people, they can come and visit the Philippines but we will not help them.
01:25 In fact, we are watching them, making sure that they do not come into contact with any agency of government.
01:39 And if they are contacting agencies of government, policemen, local government, tell them not to answer.
01:48 That is our answer.
01:49 We do not recognize your jurisdiction, therefore we will not assist in any way, shape or form any of the investigations that the ICC is doing here in the Philippines.
02:05 Meanwhile, Rafi Cony, the ICC and the National Kidney and Transplant Institute formally launched the Lung Transplant Program, the country's first Lung Transplant Program.
02:16 The ICC is currently monitoring the Philippines' presence in other countries when it comes to lung transplant.
02:21 But even though we are chasing it, it is a big step to give hope and to make the lives of those with lung disease better.
02:28 The launch of the program was accompanied by the 42nd day of the establishment of the Lung Center of the Philippines, January 23, 1982, during the time of President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
02:39 In his welcome as a guest of honor, President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. greeted the joining of the Lung Center at NKTI and the President promised full support to the program.
02:52 The President also thanked all healthcare workers, particularly the Lung Center of the Philippines who are on the front line and one of the pioneers in facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
03:02 Meanwhile, President Bobo Marcos was impressed that he is fond of music and his concert this Friday was unmissable.
03:13 Rafi Cony.
