00:03 - Very, very emotional send off after 24 years
00:06 and six Super Bowl championships for Bill and Bob Kraft.
00:09 Here's Belichick.
00:11 - You know, there's so many memories of the fans,
00:13 the send offs, the parades, the Sundays,
00:18 you know, whatever the situations are,
00:22 the letters of support, the, you know,
00:25 seeing the fans, you know, away from here,
00:26 you know, at a gas station or a grocery store,
00:29 you know, wherever you bump into them,
00:31 Patriot fans here and not just in New England,
00:33 but they extend nationally and even internationally
00:36 as I've traveled.
00:37 It's amazing how far the arm reaches.
00:39 We saw that this year in Germany.
00:41 So, so appreciative of the fans for all the support
00:44 they've given me, my family and this football team.
00:47 And it's with so many fond memories and thoughts
00:52 that I think about the Patriots and always be a Patriot.
00:56 I look forward to coming back here,
00:58 but at this time, you know, we're gonna,
01:02 we're gonna move on and I look forward,
01:05 I'm excited for the future,
01:07 but always very, very appreciative of the opportunity here,
01:11 the support here and, you know,
01:14 the, what Robert, what you've done for me.
01:16 - I mean, it's just, it's surreal, isn't it?
01:20 It's just absolutely crazy to think how these things
01:25 come to an end.
01:28 You have to understand,
01:29 I've been through this several times in my life
01:33 with great coaches.
01:34 I said it last week, I think Landry and Noel,
01:37 you win four Super Bowls in six years
01:40 and you fire someone like that is insanity.
01:45 It's just crazy to see it happen.
01:49 And it's, I guess, no different than any other divorce,
01:53 whether it's your friends, parents, or your life,
01:58 or your favorite coach or your favorite player,
02:03 when it ends, it's rather uncomfortable.
02:05 - It is rather uncomfortable, Scotty, there's no doubt.
02:09 And they kind of said that today too, you know,
02:11 this was, you know, they kind of likened it to a marriage
02:14 of 24 years that was ending
02:17 and he is gonna coach somewhere else.
02:19 I'm completely, I know you and Gabe
02:21 were throwing a lot of things around there
02:23 with all these guys and all these jobs that are now open.
02:26 I don't know where it's gonna be,
02:28 but he's going to be there
02:30 and it's gonna be somewhere
02:31 where he can get those last 15 wins to pass Shula.
02:34 'Cause you know that he wants that.
02:35 He ain't going anywhere until he gets the rest
02:37 of those wins that he needs
02:38 to be the all time winningest coach.
