00:00 Hello James Copley from the Sunderland Echo here updating you on Sunderland AFC's manager hunt.
00:06 Tony Mowbray was sacked last Monday and Mike Dodds was in charge for Sunderland's 2-1 win over West Brom at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
00:15 The main story is really is that there isn't a story at the moment. There is no word on who Sunderland's next manager could be.
00:23 Julian Sable, Kim Helberg, Paul Heckenbottom will still remain pretty close in the betting at the moment.
00:31 But there has been no major update from Sunderland. It doesn't look like anybody is favourite.
00:35 Sunderland are thought to be working through their shortlist and interviewing candidates at the moment.
00:40 But what we do know is that Mike Dodds has done his chances no harm at all of landing the job permanently.
00:47 Possibly on an interim basis until the end of the season. We don't know at the moment.
00:52 After that 2-1 win against West Brom at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland now play Leeds United on Tuesday again at the Stadium of Light in the Championship.
01:01 You have to wonder if Mike Dodds gets a good result, a point or another win, he could be in line to take the job permanently.
01:07 But at the moment there is no major update after the sacking of Tony Mowbray and we're not really sure where the direction of travel is heading at the moment.
