Transcript
00:00 I'm here with Mason Gorey.
00:01 They just got done winning and going undefeated.
00:04 You are region champions and you're moving forward to playoffs.
00:07 How are you feeling?
00:08 >> Feel great, man.
00:10 Region champs, undefeated, no better for them.
00:13 >> Yes, sir, so you're an underclassman and you're getting recruited early on.
00:17 I know Tennessee's a big one.
00:19 How's that relationship with Tennessee so far and how would you describe it?
00:24 >> I'd say it's a great relationship I build with them through my brother since
00:27 he's committed.
00:28 I've been up there a few times, been kind of like family, but
00:33 this season's open for any other schools.
00:38 >> So like you mentioned, your brother's with Marcus Gorey.
00:43 So with him being committed to Tennessee, do you feel like that's helped your
00:47 recruitment and your relationship with Tennessee grow even stronger?
00:51 >> Yes, sir, it did.
00:52 With official visits I went on with them, so I saw and
00:56 been with their coaching staff and team more and got more comfortable around there.
01:01 I actually know, been up there a few times, so I kinda know my way around there.
01:05 >> So being a DB yourself, what about that DB group and
01:07 that DB coaching staff intrigues you and what catches your eye?
01:12 >> For Tennessee?
01:13 >> Yes, sir.
01:14 >> I like it, cuz they kinda run the same things we do.
01:17 So it's like, it wouldn't be too hard to pick up on plays and
01:20 communications, probably a few calls.
01:22 But I like how the way their defense is, their defensive coach and
01:26 their defensive back coach too.
01:28 >> Yes, sir, so if you could describe Mason Gorey in one word,
01:32 what would that one word be?
01:33 [BLANK_AUDIO]
01:40 >> Dog.
01:41 >> Dog, he's a dog, you heard him here first.
