A body has been found in the search for a missing Gateshead man. The devolution deal set for the north east is expected to get final approvals over the next few weeks. And finally the department for transport has announced extra funding for the restoration of the Tyne bridge despite no confirmation the Government will deliver funding.

00:08 Simon Fowlden was last seen in Felling last Wednesday and was reported missing soon after.
00:14 An investigation was launched and police sadly found a body and formal identification confirmed
00:19 it to be Simon.
00:21 The devolution deal set for the North East is expected to get final approvals over the
00:25 next few weeks.
00:26 The historic ÂŁ4 billion deal will allow areas of the region to have more decision-making
00:31 powers and the agreement could pass through Parliament in early 2024.
00:36 And finally, the Department for Transport has announced extra funding for the restoration
00:40 of the Tyne Bridge, despite no confirmation that the government will deliver funding.
00:45 It is part of one of the pledges which is part of the Network North vision from the
00:49 PM and the council have said that the funding uplift is welcomed.
