00:04 Two men who allegedly shined laser pens in the eyes of a police helicopter have been
00:08 arrested. The helicopter was above South Shields assisting officers and it was targeted by
00:13 a laser pen. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of carrying out a reckless or negligent
00:19 act in a manner likely to endanger an aircraft.
00:22 Newcastle City Council have warned drivers about using unofficial websites to pay for
00:26 clean air zone charges. It comes after motorists in the region and across the country have
00:31 paid a fee they didn't need to pay or the payment did not go through. The council have
00:36 asked people to use the government website.
00:39 And finally, the Shona Sheep Trail is set to close in the first week of October but
00:43 the public can still see the flock one last time.
00:47 People can see the sheep sculptures at Newcastle Civic Centre over the first weekend in October
00:51 before they are sold at auction.
