00:00 Not really. From the first time I saw him, it's like, "Oh my gosh, this guy's ridiculous."
00:09 If he didn't live where he happened to live, just from an exposure standpoint,
00:14 I don't think he would have surprised anyone at all.
00:17 But the reality is he was out there in a really small town off the beaten path.
00:22 And when you saw him in person, it's like, "Oh my goodness, he really...
00:27 One of the best high school prospects that I've ever seen."
00:31 It's just fun watching him be able to be here and be such a great teammate,
00:35 great person, and become the player that he's capable of.
00:39 The sky's the limit. He's going to keep getting better and better.
00:42 So I'm really, really a huge fan of him.
00:45 Just watching, going through lists, watching guys,
00:48 and you just kind of go from top to bottom.
00:52 "Hey, these guys are supposed to be the best.
00:54 So go down the ranking list."
00:57 Sometimes guys catch your eye. Sometimes you don't like other guys as much.
01:01 Maybe you look past the guy and then circle back and say,
01:06 "Maybe I'm going to double-check on this guy again."
01:08 He's one where he seemed really good and seemed like a good player, great ball skills.
01:13 A guy who was crazy productive. He was returning punts and stuff.
01:18 I mean, doing everything. Played DN, played safety.
01:21 He did everything on the football field.
01:24 But you don't recruit many players from that area of the country.
01:28 So you circle back later and compare a statement.
01:35 "Man, this guy's pretty interesting."
01:37 Then you go actually see him in person.
01:39 That's when it's like, "Oh my gosh. He really is probably the best
01:45 or one of the very best prospects at that position in the country."
