00:00 Are you ready, friends?
00:02 Dear honourable members of the Cabinet.
00:05 Okay, three, two, one.
00:10 Since we announced the economic and industrial plan
00:18 for the country and yesterday,
00:21 the South-East Asia Partnership,
00:23 the 12th Malaysia Plan,
00:26 we have not excluded the need to increase the efforts of the Halal industry.
00:38 In my recent visit to China,
00:41 I visited the President of Vietnam,
00:44 the Prime Minister of Vietnam,
00:46 Laos, Cambodia,
00:48 without excluding the Halal industry.
00:53 And my meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan,
00:56 the President of Korea in Jakarta,
01:00 the Halal industry was touched.
01:03 So it is a great loss if we do not pay attention
01:08 to the recognition given to Malaysia.
01:12 So first, I congratulate Jakin
01:15 who has promoted the Halal steel industry.
01:21 Because of his promotion,
01:24 the Halal industry,
01:26 HGC,
01:29 and now Matri,
01:32 has to be eliminated from the industry.
01:35 Therefore, I urge all of you,
01:38 first, Jakin,
01:40 who I have asked for TPM to Zahid,
01:44 to eliminate the industry,
01:49 which is the Halal industry,
01:52 to the point where the world considers Malaysia as the future.
01:59 The issue of certification has been largely recognized
02:03 by the international community and nations.
02:08 And Malaysia is at the epic.
02:12 Countries and industries
02:15 refer to the Malaysian certification
02:19 as something recognized, of high standard.
02:23 And we should fully utilize this,
02:28 not only for Halal certification,
02:31 but also for the industry.
02:34 Therefore, I ask for TPM and Matri
02:40 to ensure that the certification
02:45 is not only Halal,
02:50 Halal in terms of the material,
02:53 but also more efficient and fast.
02:58 Because this issue is critical.
03:03 Because first, it has to be Halal,
03:07 and second, it has to be efficient.
03:10 Every step taken by Jakin in terms of certification
03:15 must be in line with the development of the industry,
03:20 especially when it is related to foreign countries.
03:25 We see, for example, when I visited,
03:27 I was asked, in the meeting of the two Halal,
03:32 the president of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
03:34 to send a task to Jakin
03:39 to help in the field of history,
03:42 a good development.
03:44 But I have suggested that in the product,
03:48 food and drink, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals,
03:52 goods, logistics,
03:54 drug stopping, contract cancellation,
03:57 all of these must be in line with
04:00 the Halal Development Cooperation and Matri.
04:05 Because there is a specialization and synergy
04:11 with the local industry.
04:13 We have a target for the Halal industry
04:17 for this country,
04:19 and all related departments must be united.
04:23 And in terms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
04:26 I have decided that it can be established
04:31 under the leadership of the Cabinet,
04:33 and implemented by TPM Tusi Zahid.
04:35 And the pressure must also be
04:38 small and simple micro-businesses.
04:42 Only then will it give space to everyone,
04:45 other than those who are already famous and successful.
04:51 But there is a new pressure,
04:54 which is to give a chance to this small industry
04:59 to cooperate with help.
05:02 If this is not a sure thing,
05:05 maybe it's a matter of the Minister.
05:07 If not, maybe it's an issue of anger.
05:10 This is why I said that the feeling is important.
05:14 So, a partnership with the industry.
05:18 And I have said that
05:20 because of this cooperation,
05:23 it can be continued.
